Chapter 40, Dear Shaka.(.Part 2)

After hearing Bik Imah's words, Shaka nodded his head and smiled. He held back his tears that had been trying to come out of his eye peluk. He then said goodbye and left Bik Imah who is now alone in Besty's house. He turned to Bik Imah and looked around Besty's house which had been giving good memories for the love between him and Besty. The house where Shaka spent his time with Besty in the past. A place to mix love and have their first kiss.

He tries to hold tightness in his chest while remembering all the memories of their love in Besty's house. He then wiped his tears which he could not bear anymore and then left the Besty house.

Shaka then directs his vehicle to a cafe, where they do first date first. The overcast overshadowed Shaka's journey to the cafe. During the trip, Shaka keeps thinking about Besty and remembers how their love story went. Remembering all the beautiful memories created in their love story.

When he got there, the sky was black. Shortly thereafter, a rain spatter drenched the earth. Shaka then entered and chose the same seat as when Shaka and Besty came to this place. Shaka ordered Hot Chocolate, Besty's first drink, when waitress came to him. He sighed and then took out a letter from his pants pocket. He waited for his drink to come before he opened the letter. 7 minutes later, the waitress came with a hot chocolate Shaka order.

He felt a little Hot Chocolate and then read the letter from Besty while accompanied by rain that increasingly heavy wetting the City of Malang.

" Dear Shaka's...

"I remember the day we first met. As soon as I saw you, I knew right away, that you would be the one to color and give meaning to my life."

"When we start talking, I find more and more things that pull me to fall deeper into you."

"And how you are so kind, especially to me, without wanting anything in return."

"And while I was sitting there, beside you, with my heart pounding, I knew already that I wanted you to want me as much as I wanted you."

"If I were the ocean, I wish you'd drown in it. Because you're the only person I want to stay with me."

"And with all my heart I believe that we were created to be together. You're the answer to all the questions I've been looking for all along. Because every time I see you, I can't help but laugh happily. And when we're not together, you still haunt me in dreams."

"Nothing I regret about this relationship. Meeting you is a gift, parting with you is a fate that must happen."

“This parting is heavy, believe me I feel it too. I cry all the time because I can't imagine my life without you, Shak.."

"Thank you for making me a better person."

"Thank you for teaching me so much, especially about love and relationships."

“Thank you for taking care of me and being a part of my life all this time. You will be one of those memories that will live on in my mind and heart."

Shaka then kissed the letter while sobbing. Dark skies and heavy rain accompanied Shaka's broken heart. He then looked at the rain through the window in front of him, while recalling all the good memories with Besty.

Long enough, Shaka pondered to himself at the cafe. The letter was read over and over again. His heart felt what was happening. His feelings were destroyed the second time. He then placed the letter on the table. He held his Hot Chocolate mug with both hands while staring at the rain fluttering in the sky this afternoon. He daydreamed, imagining all the stories of his love journey. Starting from his first meeting in the cafeteria, his introduction in angkot, until when Besty treated Shaka's wounds at his home while Shaka defended him from Joni and his friends after school.

He also still vividly imagined when they joined the school together, where Besty hugged Shaka tightly and smiled happily behind Shaka's back. He also still remembers how he expressed his love for Besty and did his first date at this cafe. Everything is recorded clearly in Shaka's memory. She was in tears and sadness as she recalled how Shaka and Besty had their first kiss and the last time they met at Besty's birthday party last night. What a wonderful journey of love to remember and not easy to forget.

Until finally, he remembered Sherly's words when he was with Sherly in the hospital.

"If you want a rainbow, you must receive rain, Shak."

"Don't give up because only one bad chapter happened to you. Keep going, because your story doesn't end here".

Those words strengthen him. He was silent for a moment and finally took a sip of his hot chocolate. He then folded Besty's letter and kept it in his wallet. Suddenly he remembered another sentence that was present because of Sherly's sincerity.

"I believe true love always comes at the right time, the right time and the right place. He won't get lost, Shak."

Those words ring out always in Shaka's ears and mind over and over again. So it sank and strengthened itself slowly. Enveloped and soothed his heart and feelings from the wounds that pierced his heart.

Now he is trying to strengthen himself. He tried to hold his head up and lift his heart. Trying to let go and let go of Besty with a belief that if Besty is his true love then he will reunite with him someday.

"Thank you for coming into my life and making me happy, thank you for loving me and accepting my love. Thank you for always being a part of my life. I believe that if you are my true love then God will bring you back to be united one day." Shaka said softly as he looked at the rain falling in front of him.

"Even if I have to lose another heart, but I won't lose myself again. I will keep going and make all the promises I've made before." Shaka determined while standing from his desk and then went to the cashier to pay for his drink.

He then stepped out of the cafe and left with the rain that greeted him with a whirlwind of coldness that accompanied him.
