Chapter 36, The Blanket of the Heart (Part 1)

With a sense of anger that almost exploded inside his chest, Shaka left Besty's house. His eyes were red. His brain is boiling hot. His heart is very painful. His mind was not going in any direction. He was very upset and agitated. He did not know where to go and just walked down an unbounded road.

Finally he decided to go to the mountainous area located in Umbrella, Stone City. A plateau area located in the area of Mount Banyak, Batu. The area is actually the cliff side of Mount Many who can see the city of Malang below. What a beautiful area with the cold that accompanies him.

Once there, he pulled his bike over on the side of the road. He stood on his bike and took off his helmet. Then he sat on the ground, beside his motorbike, while watching the view of Malang City which was illuminated with the glitter of lights that decorated it. It's beautiful and romantic actually, but the blue heart makes the atmosphere tonight look gray.

He could not hold back his anger anymore. She cried while holding her chest with both hands. Her crying poured down her face. It brings out all the emotions that are piling up and mounting inside him. Only the dense sky and the full moonlight accompanied him. It was as if trying to contain all the outpouring of flavor in Shaka's heart.

After draining his tears and spilling all his heart and feelings, Shaka felt somewhat calm. He then tried to reflect on his love journey while staring at the beautiful City of Malang from the top of the cliff of Mount Banyak.

A short while later, the phone in his pants pocket shook. He thinks that Besty contacted him. He quickly took the phone out of his pocket. But he was disappointed that it was not Besty who contacted him, but Sherly who sent him a message.

He really hoped Besty would contact him and give him the news and the circumstances tonight. But he did not want to contact her just yet because he did not know the situation at Besty's house right now. He did not want to add runyam and complicated situation Besty with his mother. Let it be, maybe later tonight, I'll call him Shaka murmured inwardly.

He then read a message Sherly had written to him.

“Hai Shak, what else? I just want info that I'm allowed to go home tomorrow.” Sherly.

“So tomorrow you don't need to come to the hospital again.” Sherly.

With a sigh, Shaka replied to Sherly's message.

“Sgratitude.’ Shaka answered briefly.

“You're busy hgga?” Ask Sherly next.

“Engga.” Shaka answered briefly again.

He really wanted to talk to Sherly. But he tries to hold himself back because he does not want to disturb Sherly during his recovery.

Sherly who read Shaka's short message became astonished. He doesn't usually write a message this short. Sherly felt something was wrong. Sherly knows that Shaka won't tell her over the phone.

He then saw his cell phone showing at 9:00 p.m.

“Not too malam”, thought Sherly.

Finally he sent another message to Shaka.

“Shak, if you're not busy, help me here because my mom doesn't exist.” Sherly said in her message.

“You still remember your promise to always be there for me right before I had a girlfriend?” coined.

“I really need your help.” Sneakily.

Shaka who read Sherly's message could only be silent. He tries to weigh Sherly's request while twirling the phone in his hand. He actually refused to go there. His mood is very chaotic tonight.

But he also could not bear if he left Sherly who was in need of his help. He doesn't want anything to happen to Sherly. He decided to go to the hospital where Sherly was being treated. He sent a message to his father and mother that he was late to come home. He put on his helmet and turned on his bike. Ride the bike fast to see Sherly as soon as possible.

Arriving at the intended hospital, Shaka parked his motorcycle in the Basement Parking Area. He took off his helmet and then went to Sherly's room on the 3rd floor, passing the elevator in the right corner of the Basement Parking Area.

He then headed to Besty's room and opened the door and stepped in.

Sherly, who was sitting in bed, turned to the door of her room that opened. He saw Shaka walking towards him.

Sherly did not answer Shaka's greeting. He was shocked because he saw Shaka coming with swollen eyes. Sherly knows for sure that Shaka just cried. He could only shut up while looking at Shaka's face.

"Sher.., Sher..." Shaka said in a hoarse voice calling Sherly who was dumbfounded to see him.

Sherly regained her senses and then said to Shaka.

"Are you okay, Shak." Sherly asks while pulling Shaka's hand to sit on the edge of her bed. Shaka just kept quiet and then he tried to smile.

"Yes, Sher. I'm fine." Shaka replied with a hoarse tone.

"Can I help you, Sher?" Ask Shaka.

Sherly was silent while looking at Shaka. He held Shaka's right hand and said.

"Right, I might not have the right to ask. But I know you're sad." Sherly said as she rubbed Shaka's hand.

"What's up, Shak?" Sherly said while shaking Shaka's hand.

Shaka just kept quiet while lowering his head. No tears came out of his eyes. He quickly rubbed with his left hand. I really want him to tell Sherly everything. But he's worried about adding to Sherly's burden. Finally, he filled it all in his heart. He lifted his head and said while trying to smile.

"I got nothing, Sher." Shaka Sahut.

"Oh yeah, where's your mama?" Shaka asked while switching the conversation.

"Mama came home because she had to accompany papa." Sherly said flatly as she continued to look at Shaka. He knew Shaka was trying to shift the subject.

"Oh yes, Sher. Is there anything I can help you with?" Ask Shaka.

Sherly was silent as she continued to look towards Shaka. He was a bit upset because Shaka did not answer his question.

"You said you needed my help?" Ask Shaka.

"My company is here." Sherly replied, the origin that made Shaka shocked.

"A.aaapppa...?" Sahut Shaka stammered as he looked at Sherly in disbelief. She is surprised that Sherly asks her to stay at the hospital to accompany Sherly.

"Yes, accompany me in this room" Sherly said.

"Tapppiiii.., we are.." said Shaka with the hanging words.

"It's because of you, I want to. If another guy I don't want to. I don't trust guys other than you" Sherly said.

"Ayooo dong, Shak. You promised to always be with me." Pinta Sheryl.

"But Sher..." Shaka said while scratching his head.

"You promised me, Shak. Please, I'm afraid nottt." Whining Sherly.

"Do I need to call your mom and dad for permission?" Sherly said while seeking contact with Shaka's father and mother.
