Chapter 41, I'm Always There (Part 1)

When he got home, he took a shower and cleaned himself. His clothes were wet with rain. He went in and threw himself in the bedroom. He opens his phone and sees a message from Sherly saying that he is home. He was very grateful for the attention of Shaka who visited him every day. Sherly also gives words of encouragement to Shaka.

Shaka just smiled at the message. After sending a reply message, Shaka put his phone on the table and then pulled the blanket that was on his feet to expel the cold air that attacked him.

He then daydreamed, remembering all the memories of being with Besty. Not feeling his tears flowing and finally he fell asleep while dreaming of Besty in his subconscious.

Day by day, Shaka is now alone through his days. School, Semester Final Exam Guidance and Training. It was a routine he followed every day. News of Besty's sudden move made shocking news for her friends at school. The news was heard by Bobi who immediately approached Shaka to ask the truth. Shaka could only smile and answer ignorantly as Bobi showered at him with thousands of questions. Likewise with Sherly who was also shocked half to death. He did not believe in Besty's sudden move. He also approached Shaka in his class during the break the next day. Shaka could only smile while saying :

" Life is a choice. Sometimes, the best thing you can do for someone you love is to let go and pray for their happiness."

Then he also quoted Sherly's own words that always ring in his mind while smiling at Sherly.

"If we want a rainbow, we have to accept rain."

"Don't give up because only one bad chapter happens to us. Keep going, because our story doesn't end here."

Sherly was just dumbstruck as she stared at Shaka. He felt sorry for Shaka. However, he does not want his loved ones to be sad and hurt. He approached Shaka and sat down next to him. He held Shaka's hand and said :

"I'm always here, Shak. Always there for you." While rubbing Shaka's hand.

Shaka smiled and then rubbed his hair while saying :

"I know you've always been there for me and never left me."

Suddenly Bobi entered the classroom and saw the incident. Shaka and Sherly turned towards Bobi who was still dumbstruck. Shaka immediately takes his hand off Sherly's hair. He knows that Bobi likes Sherly and he doesn't want to misunderstand her. Bobi then laughed. He laughed at Shaka's absurd behavior. He approached them and sat in front of them.

"Udah, it's normal, Shak. Don't be so absurd." Bobi said with a laugh.

Shaka and Sherly then also laughed. Then they filled their break by talking to each other.

"Prepare yourself, Bob. Who knows Shaka will fight you later in the game." Sherly.

Bobi was shocked and in disbelief. He looked at Shaka and said :

"Are you at the national championship in Jogjakarta next month, Shak?" Ask Bobi in disbelief.

Shaka smiled and then nodded his head.

"Great..., Shak.!" Said Bobi while greeting Shaka.

"Let's prove to everyone that you are the Champion" Bobi said excitedly.

"Well, what if we meet later, Shak?" Ask Bobi with a scowl.

Shaka just smiled at Bobi's words.

"Well, what do you want?" Shaka Sahut.

"Review later if you make Shaka hurt." Threaten Sherly with a smile.

Shaka and Bobi laughed at Sherly's words.

"Just calm down, Princess. I'm not gonna get your prince hurt. At most, just scratched a little." Bobi said with a laugh.

They laughed until the break bell ended forcing them to disperse.

"Good, Shak. I didn't expect you to make it through all the stages you gave me so well." Said Mr. Bram.

"It's time to give the last bit of polish until you're finally ready to fight in the national championship." Continue on the sidelines of rest.

"Well, Sabeum Nim." Shaka said with a loud breath.

When he finished training that afternoon, Mr. Bram said to Shaka.

"Shak, if you pay attention, the girl is always watching you. Who's she?" Asked Mr. Bram while pointing at a girl who was sitting while looking towards them from a distance.

"Father watch him come every time you practice. Do you know him?" Ask Mr. Bram.

Shaka looked towards the girl and then said :

"I don't know, Sabeum Nim." Shaka.

"But if you look at it faintly, it seems that I am familiar, Sabeum Nim." Answer with a smile.

"It looks like it's my friend, Sabeum Nim." Answer Shaka.

"What friend is a friend?" Tempted Mr. Bram.

"It looks like, my friend, Sabeum Nim."Shaka replied with a smile.

"Whoever he is, you better take good care of him. There are rarely women like that." Said Mr. Bram.

"Why, Sabeum Nim." Shaka asked with curiosity.

"If I notice, it seems like he always supports you without having to show his support." Answer Mr. Bram.

"In addition, if you are wrong, it has been 5 days, he continues to come here just to pay attention to you." Further.

"Therefore, keep him, Shak..!" Mr. Bram said with a smile and clenched his hand.

Shaka just laughed at Mr. Bram's words. Shaka finally came home after the afternoon training was over.

He immediately ran towards the girl, who had already left from her seat. Shaka then ran as fast as he could to catch up with her and after getting close, Shaka shouted.

"Sher, wait." Shaka Shout.

Sherly is shocked to hear Shaka's scream. He stopped and turned his body. Shaka stopped running and now stood in front of Sherly with a gasp of breath.

"Wait, Sher." Shaka said as he held his knees and gasped for breath.

" Kog you know I'm here?" Ask Sherly.

Shaka then adjusted his breathing slowly. After feeling calm, he said to Sherly.

"Yes, Mr. Bram told me." Answer Shaka.

"Sir Bram?" Ask Sherly.

"Yes, he said you've been here five days" Shaka said as he looked at Sherly.
