Chapter 12, First Date (Part 1)

Shaka closed his night with a happy and flowery feeling. Does this feel like dating? Is this what it feels like to fall in love?, he thought. I can't wait to see tomorrow. Looking up at the sky in her room, Shaka tried to close her eyes. Hope the night passes quickly and change the day. Take her to meet Besty the next day.

The next day, Shaka prepares to go to school. After saying goodbye to his father and mother, he went to school. Riding his blue vespa, Shaka leaves for Besty's house to pick her up. Upon arriving in front of Besty's house, Shaka sees a blue-bite girl sitting on her porch. Swinging - swinging her legs while hugging her bag. When he found out Shaka had come, he got out of his seat and went to him. With her sweet smile, she then greets Shaka :

" Morning Mas Shaka" Besty said with a smile.

Shaka is shocked to hear Besty calling her "Mas".

Before the shock was gone, Besty got on the bike and said :

"Udah don't be dumb, let's go. Later I'll clear." while wrapping his hand to Shaka's stomach.

Then Shaka nodded his head while running his motor. After exiting the gate of Besty's residential house, Shaka deflects his rearview mirror. He saw Besty who kept smiling. Realizing Shaka noticed her, Besty then hid behind Shaka's back while patting her on the back.

"Udah, shame." said Besty.

Shaka smiled as he continued his journey.

"You're beautiful this morning" said Shaka.

"Udah, look there the way" Besty said as she continued to hide behind Shaka's back.

It didn't feel like they were coming to school. At first glance Shaka sees Joni seeing the two of them at the school gate. Shaka then parked his bike and took off the helmet on Besty's head.

" I'll see you when I get home from school" said Shaka.

"You don't want to go to the cafeteria later, Mas?" ask Besty.

"I have a need for a moment. It's a little long" Shaka said.

"Let's wait for me in front of the class" Shaka said as she rubbed Besty's pouting hair.

"Yes" said Besty softly as she nodded sluggishly.

Then Besty goes to her class, leaving Shaka who also steps away towards her class.

During the break, Shaka dropped out of his class. He then went to his next class, XII IPS 2. He meets Joni and greets her.

"Hi Jon, how are you?" said Shaka.

"Why did you come here?" joni said cynically.

Shaka sighed, then he said :

"Jon, I'm sorry for what happened the other day."

"We've known her since 1st grade. I want us to be friends again like we used to be" Shaka said as he extended his hand.

"Hai Shak, why are you meddling in my affairs with that wild girl?" said Joni.

Closing his eyes and sighing in offense at Joni's words, Shaka then continued his words.

" Jon, he's my girlfriend. I apologize on his behalf for offending you. I don't want us to be hostile to each other. Will you forgive us? For the sake of our friendship first." Shaka said as he extended his hand back with a smile.

"Ha..., are you dating Besty?" joni said surprised.

"Yes Jon, you're the first to know this. Do you want to forgive us?" shaka said as he continued to thrust out his hand.

"I don't want our friendship to end, Jon. Again, I'm sorry, Jon." continued Shaka as he continued to look at Joni.

Joni was silent while looking at Shaka, then finally Joni shook Shaka's hand while saying :

" I'm waiting for your deal, Shak" Joni said with a smile.

"Surely, Jon. Whenever you want, just tell me" Shaka said with a smile.

"Thank you very much, Jon" Shaka said as he left Joni's class.

Actually Shaka knows about Joni's nature. Although he was notoriously rude and a thug, he was actually a good boy. He still remembers when the 1st grade of High School used to be during the school orientation period (MOS). Joni helps her as she gets lost to her class. He also often helped his friends when MOS first. In addition, along with Shaka and Bobi, Joni helps her friends who will be bullied by their upperclassmen. It's just that the words seem a bit rude even though the meaning is good. Shaka smiled in remembrance of his meeting with Joni in the old days of MOS. He then went to class and met with Bobi and was sitting alone on his stool.

"I saw you break into Joni's class. Is Joni still after you? I'll beat him up." he continued.

Shaka smiled and then told her what had happened. He says that the problem with Joni is over. So there's nothing to worry about back.

"Have anyone been looking for me?" said Shaka.

"So, it's Sherly" said Bobi.

"Why does he keep kog nyari you? Kog won't come after me?" grouse Bobi.

"She seems to like you, Shak" said Bobi.

"Where is possible, Bob. You exist - there is a ja." said Shaka.

"My experience says so, Shak. He hides his feelings behind your friendship" said Bobi.

Before Bobi could continue his sentence, the school bell rang, indicating the break was over and forcing the students to return to their respective classes.

"Believe my words, Shak. He likes you." Said Bobi who only Shaka replied with a smile.

After school, Shaka rushes to Besty's class. He saw Besty was waiting for him in front of the class.

With a smile, Shaka walked up to Besty and then stood in front of her while continuing to look at her.

"Ngapain mandangin is that?" besty.

"You know, it's just a twilight if you've seen you" said Shaka.

" Your face is very pretty and shady. Makes my heart feel good when I see it." Shaka's mombal.

"Udah don't be much dreadlocks, ayoo go home" said Besty while blushing shyly and then walking along with Shaka towards the motor park.

Shaka then takes the helmet and attaches it to Besty's head. Besty smiles seeing Shaka's attention to her.

"Your smile is like a longing-loving opium, beautiful" Shaka said as he fixed the helmet on Besty's head.

"You want to go out on Saturday afternoon?" Shaka

"Exit..?? Saturday..??" besty said in shock.

"yes" Shaka said with a smile.

"I want to encourage you to stay." he continued.

"yeah, ngedate...?" asked Besty in surprise.

"yes, ngedate same you, beautiful" said Shaka mantab

Then in embarrassment, Besty nodded her head.

"Btw, why do you call me mas?" said Shaka.

"There's a dehhh, I'll clear it on Saturday the day after tomorrow." seduced Besty.

shaka then smiled and then rubbed the helmet that was on Besty's head.

"I can't wait for Saturday" Shaka said.

Besty just smiled broadly at the words Shaka said.

"Yes, let's go home" said Shaka as he climbed and stopped the motorbike.

The two of them were unconscious, there was a pair of eyes watching them from a distance. Seeing them from Besty's class until they left school in a big two. He saw how Shaka was so considerate of Besty. He saw how Shaka smiled, looked and spoke to Besty. He felt that something was missing in his heart. He felt something was stirring up his feelings. Makes him sick and burning jealous flames.
