The Forbidden Love

The Forbidden Love
Episode 23

As happened before, Anyelir and Reiga share the task of guarding Dorman every day and night. Carnations still feel guilty. He felt that he was the cause of everything that had happened to Reiga so far.

If only he had no feelings for the man and ignored him in the first place, maybe Reiga would not have had any trouble because of his father.

After nearly three days of unconsciousness, Dorman began to open his eyes slowly. The middle-aged man was aware with sadness on his face.

Dorman looked at Reiga who was asleep on the long sofa located not far from the bed where he lay. Unconsciously she shed tears.

The child he loved and cared about so much was a child he could not predict. Dorman did not expect Reiga to stab him in the back.

During this time, Dorman tried hard to hide the true cause of the death of his wife. He did it all for the sake of his good relationship with Reiga. Dorman doesn't want Reiga to hate him, nor does Dorman want his only heir to go away from him.

However, the reality he only knew a few days ago, made Dorman's heart melt. He did not expect, he did not expect, if Reiga really liked Carnations, namely his stepmother.

It's not about who the woman Reiga loves, it's about the feeling of a broken father knowing that his son would stab him in the back.

As Dorman tried to move his stiff body, he accidentally nudged a glass that was on the table near his bed.

Reiga was surprised. He got up from his sleep quickly and approached Dorman.

"Dad? Are you conscious?" ask Reiga. He pushed the emergency button to call the nurse.

"Dad want a drink?" ask Reiga. He looked at the broken glass on the floor and immediately cleaned it. Reiga then takes a bottle of mineral water and helps Dorman drink through a spoon.

Not long after, a nurse arrived. When he saw Dorman was conscious, the nurse came out and called the doctor.

"How's Dad doing?" ask Reiga.

Dorman wanted to talk, he wanted to answer the question of his beloved son. Dorman wanted to express his sadness and asked Reiga why she had the heart to do all this to him.

However, Dorman had not only trouble moving his body. Dorman even had trouble speaking. He could only open and close his mouth without making a sound.

Reiga fell silent, trying to understand the movements of his father's mouth.

"I'm sorry, Dad," Reiga said softly. "It's all my fault" he continued.

Dorman could only shed tears. He wanted to be angry, he was upset, but all this was not entirely Reiga's fault.

"Ma .. ap" said Dorman with all his might.

Reiga looked at the father with teary eyes. He never intended to take revenge or put Dorman in this state. But Reiga could no longer hold back because all his father's actions had crossed the line.

"Don't say anything, Dad. The doctor will be here soon" Reiga said, rubbing the back of her father's hand.

Not long after, a doctor with a nurse arrived. The doctor immediately conducted an examination on Dorman. The nurse takes a blood sample for a laboratory examination.

After the departure of the Doctor and nurse, Reiga pulled up a chair and sat down near her father.

Reiga clasped Dorman's hand and looked at his father's pale face.

"I'm sorry, Dad. I'm sorry I betrayed you and disappointed you."

"I love Carnations, I love them for a long time. I can't stand it when Dad always hurts him, I can't see him suffering because of Dad's bad treatment."

"I understand this was all a mistake, this shouldn't have happened. But, we love each other. I love him sincerely."

"I want to reveal everything honestly, I don't want to lie anymore."

"I'm a brash kid. I'm a bad boy and I don't know myself. I'm sorry," said Reiga.

Dorman shed tears. His lips quivered, he wanted to speak, but he was powerless.

"Dad can hate me, I can take it. But until now, I have never regretted loving Carnations. I'm just sorry I got to know her too late."

Dorman couldn't say a word. The old man could only blink his eyes many times while opening his mouth. Dorman was not able to move his limbs freely, he could only slightly move his hands despite trying his hardest.

"Dad, is this sick?" ask Reiga. He looked at the pale face of his father.

"Dad must regret all that Dad did. Maybe it's punishment, maybe it's karma you have to accept for all your actions."

"Don't forget mom, Dad. Try to understand every pain when Dad always hits him."

Reiga felt the fast reveal everything she felt. Although he knew that he shouldn't have said all this while his father was helpless, Reiga wanted Dorman to know his heart.

All this time Reiga always refrained from bringing up her hatred. Now he finally has a chance. Although Dorman could not deny or refute all his words, but Reiga hoped Dorman could think about all his actions and regret it.

"It's all my honesty, Dad. I'm sorry," muttered Reiga.
