Reiga can understand the attitude of Carnations. Reiga even felt it was natural for Carnations to ignore Dorman or Mendokan ugliness over the middle-aged man.

Clearly, Dorman is the main culprit for all the bad things that happen to Carnations. Not only did Dorman forcibly snatch the Carnations from his parents, Dorman even tortured and committed illegitimate domestic violence.

Until now, Reiga had only thought that everything Dorman experienced was karma for his own actions. Maybe God tested Carnations with bad luck, but God always listened to the unspoken prayers of the girl. Every tear that flowed as well as the pain in the body of Carnation, had slowly been paid for by Dorman with the illness he was suffering from.

Reiga does not blame Carnation, everything that happens to the father, is the fruit of his greed and cruelty.

"Never blame yourself. Whatever happens, all by God's will" Reiga said beside Carnation.

"To be honest, I love my father, but I hate him too. I asked, Why my mother? Why not my father" continued Reiga.

Carnations turned their heads, looking at Reiga with great astonishment.

"You know, my mother didn't die of her illness. But because of dad," explains Reiga.

"What is your father ...."

"Right, I've been bad to my mom since I was a kid. Dad never changed. My mother suddenly died when only a few days declared healthy by the doctor. His illness is getting better by the day. But her death was very sudden, and I knew that you were hiding something behind your death. I tried to cover it up, but I know."

Carnations were silent, both eyes glazed over. Tears welled up in her eyes.

On the day of his mother's sudden death, Reiga, who was teaching, left the classroom and returned to his hometown.

Reiga found her mother lying lifeless. Reiga was always monitoring her mother's health, she always called to remind her of her medication schedule. Reiga comes every month and takes her mother for regular health checks and controls.

With all their hard work, Reiga's mother slowly recovered and her illness improved. But the news of his death, made Reiga's world destroyed instantly.

Reiga found it strange that he asked his father for permission to have his mother in an autopsy before being buried. Unfortunately, Dorman balked at Reiga's request for various reasons.

Reiga just wanted to know if he missed something until his mother suddenly came home.

Without Dorman's permission, Reiga can't do anything. He could only accept the death of his mother with a big and strong heart. However, Reiga discovers a shocking fact before the mother is buried. He saw many scars and bruises on his mother's body. There are bruises on the head until traces of blood flow from inside the ear. Reiga guessed, Dorman did a hard beating on the head.

The heartbreaking incident was still vividly remembered in Reiga's mind. He did not want to forgive his father, but he also could not repay his father's bad deeds. Because after all, Dorman was his parents.

"You're having a hard life. You're great," praises Carnations. He couldn't imagine if it happened to him.

"I promise I'll protect you. I won't let you suffer the same fate as my mother."

"Thank you." Carnations smile thinly. He could see Reiga's sincerity. That man, has done a lot for her all this time.
