Chp 96: Facing the Goddess of Death

Any human from another world who was summoned or transferred to a world with a magic concept like Aquila Phoroneuse17 world should not have any specialties.

For example Yui who was summoned by Simon should not have any magic abilities like now.

But after River checks Yui's body through his System, it turns out that a source of mana has been installed in her body that allows the girl to use magic even though she is not a native of that world.

The soul possessed by the humans from those two worlds also had quite a significant difference.

In Evelyn and Yui's world where Earth doesn't have any magic or supernatural powers, they only have a much better knowledge of technology than the rest of the world.

That same day River had a secret meeting with Clarion and Zetton. River sat on one of the chairs and looked at the two friends seriously.

Zetton and Clarion were confused and wanted to ask about the reason for their meeting, but River had already spoken first.

"I will face the Goddess of Death alone."

The two men before him were quite surprised to hear River's words.

"Are you sure you want to fight it alone? I mean you could have been ambushed by the other Gods while facing the Goddess of Death." - Sargah Clarion.

"I have my own way so that no one interferes with our fight" River said seriously.

"But still -"

"If it's your decision then do it" said Zetton, cutting off Clarion's words to dispute River's intentions.

"I believe in you who can now face a powerful figure like the Goddess of Death." continued Zetton believe in the power of River.

River smiled happily at Zetton who agreed to his decision, "They haven't fought me since they evolved into the Dark Gods because they were afraid to enter my territory, but in fact I know very well if they keep an eye on me."

Maybe the 5 Gods and Goddesses who were afraid of fighting against the 1 person who had just become a God sounded absurd.

But that was not mere nonsense, the reason they hesitated against River was because they did not have much freedom of action.

They could not enter the territory of another God without the permission of the owner of the territory, unlike River who can enter any region freely because he is not bound to the world system and all the laws that bind the Gods.

Because of the greatness of their territory both that makes the God of Darkness and the Goddess of Light also dubbed as the ruler of the world alternately.

"If it's your decision then I can't oppose it." said Clarion resignedly.

Clarion had actually considered River her own son ever since posing as a teacher at the Nethilor Academy.

So he was a little worried about River's safety.

River smiled, "Then I will rush to the realm of death. Please keep this secret from the rest of me so they don't worry."

"All right."

River then left by teleportation leaving Clarion and Zetton in the room.

River arrived at a large cave located on the outskirts of the Dyuraz continent, the cave was the entrance to the Great Dungeon that he and his friends had once been.

"It feels like a long time ago." murmured River.

Now River will fight the Goddess of Death, but his main goal is to get the woman to work together to destroy the world system that has been restraining him.

But if the Goddess of Death does not want to cooperate and keep fighting then inevitably River must eliminate him from this world...

It was a place where all the concepts of the world would not function, from space to the senses of living beings would not be able to function in that place except the Gods who were not bound by the concept of the world.

River stepped into the Dark Elter that was right in front of his eyes, his body engulfed in a deep darkness but still able to move.

Slowly but surely River's body drifted along the Dark Elter's current to reach the other side of the Great Dungeon.

However that was not River's goal but rather down below Dark Elter, and determinedly River leaped out of his way.

He then darted into the deep darkness like diving in a deep ocean.

Shortly thereafter the darkness around River began to turn dark red before River finally realized he had been on a vast prairie plain.

"I don't think I'll ever go back to this place again." murmured River.

Now that she was already in the domain of the Death Goddess Nolectre Thanaesah, that woman must have been aware of River's current arrival.

And sure enough a black fireball was thrown from a very far direction and hit River's body directly.

* BOOOMMM!! *

The black fireball exploded violently and drowned River's entire body in a black fire that no one would be able to extinguish.

"He's not dead!" said the attacker who is none other than Nolectre Thanaesah.

Raising his hands high, Nolectre again created 3 black fireballs as big as a castle to cover the sky of death.

Nolectre then threw the three powerful attacks one by one to the place where River was.

* BOOOOMMMMMM!! *

* BOOOOMMMMMM!! *

* BOOOOMMMMMM!! *

Larger and more powerful explosions than ever bombarded River's body relentlessly and destroyed part of the desert plain.

But it was not until there that Nolectre again issued a very bright crystal in his hand.

It was a God-sealing crystal prepared directly by the Gods for the sake of sealing River as their greatest enemy.

* BYURR!! *

The black flames that should not have been extinguished were blown away just like that and displayed River's figure without the slightest injury.

Holding his black sword in his right hand, River immediately threw it firmly towards Nolectre, precisely towards the sealing crystal he was holding.

The sword River threw shot out rapidly and struck the crystal that Nolectre was holding until it shattered into pieces.

Nolectre was shocked and angry, but did not stop there until the sword River threw turned back like a boomerang and slashed one of the arms of Nolectre until it broke.

Nolectre gritted his teeth in annoyance, "He's stronger than we expected.." he muttered as he regrowed his arm in just a few seconds.

Clearly the man before him possessed a power stronger than himself, his black apo attack could never be extinguished even by a God.

However it had no effect for River with his First Attack Immunity ability allowing him to be immune to first attacks and surprise attacks and Preoceeding Attack Immunity allowing him to be immune to advanced attacks.

In addition River also had the ability of the Illness Immunity that allowed him to be immune to all kinds of poisons, curses, and other ill effects. Hence the black flames belonging to Nolectre were not affected by it.
