Chp 3: Sword Techique, Martial Art, and Magic

"What are you two doing there!? River, Asher is sitting where you are!"

The screams of a teacher awakened me from the daydreams of the past, I guess I was too drowned to realize that the next hour of study had begun.

"Tch! next time I won't let you go." Asher threatened and returned to his seat.

I also got up with great difficulty and sat down on my seat to take the next lesson.

Now is not the time to think about the past, I have to be serious in learning so that my grades do not decline.

Although I was weak in magic and swordsmanship, I was arguably a genius in oral learning such as history, language, politics and so on.

I explained all of that smoothly and could see Professor Watson's proud expression while the other students looked annoyed.

Such was the whisper that sounded while Professor Watson smiled proudly at me.

"Sword Technique which uses mana is usually referred to as Sword Magic while Martial Art which uses mana is usually called Martial Magic. In fact, using magic in sword techniques or martial arts is much more difficult and high risk, if the magic applied is not controlled then the user will experience severe injury."

Once again the other students felt very upset because of me who was far superior to them.

While Asher just clicked his tongue irritated.

I don't think Asher was so stupid that he got into the trap of studying professor Watson.

"Alright, let's get into our main discussion today" professor Watson said.

The previous one was just a warm-up to make the spoiled noble child want to open their book and focus on learning.

After that professor Watson began to explain his learning even though I had actually studied all the material.

At least I should get a good attendance score.

"Humans can use the 7 basic elements without any restrictions at all, namely fire, water, earth, wind, lightning, light, and darkness. Just like magic levels, sword technique levels and martial arts were also divided into 7 levels. Sword techniques and martial arts have many types depending on their use.

While the strongest martial arts users are people who come from the neighboring kingdom, namely the kingdom of Mazzarri.

Regarding the magic element element described by professor Watson earlier, it was all just basic elements that could be used by everyone.
