Chp 116: Moon Palace

"M-it's impossible, you're alive, River." said Leyn.

River did not respond to Leyn's words but simply looked at him flatly before his gaze returned to Estienne.

"You spent too much time on the spot, Estienne" River said flatly but with emphasis on naming the kneeling woman with a body of great trembling.

"Please forgive me, sir..."

Leyn was a clever person, with just a single look at the interaction between River and Estienne he already knew what their relationship was really about.

Leyn shook her head many times, hoping that this would not be possible while Leon did the same.

"Here we go, we'd better go back to the palace because something bad is going on" said River preparing to turn away, leaving Estienne very confused.

"Master, b-what about subjugating the human race? I can subdue them all in just a few minutes if I'm serious-"

"That's not necessary." cut River, his red bead looked at Leyn, Leon, Gerald, and Lovita flatly one by one and said, "Loose people like them won't be of any use to me."

For some reason Leyn's heart ached when said to be weak by the person she loved, no, Leyn even doubted whether she still loved the man who had changed so much.

"If that's your order then I'll obey!" estienne replied firmly obeying River's orders.

Leyn and Leon could only keep silent to see River leaving them by teleporting, and Leyn's heart felt empty when he realized that he was so useless.

He doesn't know what really happened to River, but one thing he does know is that River is much stronger than it was. It was so powerful that Leyn thought it was impossible to chase after him.

"I hope we meet again after this" Estienne said with a cynical smile, she then teleported to the moon palace following River.

Along with Estienne's departure the vines that bound Gerald and Lovita also disappeared, the two of them then approached Leyn and checked his condition.

"You okay, my daughter?" lovita asks worriedly but makes Leon a little confused because of his call to Leyn.

"I'm good, it's just that I'm a little tired." Leyn replied trying to smile.

"Hold on, I'll cure you." Lovita then used her magic to heal Leyn, until not a long time later all the wounds in her pain instantly healed.

Perhaps in comparison, Lovita's healing magic is equivalent to Finley's healing magic.

But even though Leyn's entire wound had healed but not with his exhaustion.

"Sir Leyn, Brother Leon, stop this right now!" a scream sounded not far from them.

They turned their heads and saw Harley coming along with a white-looking woman holding a girl. Leon knew the girl well.

"Arcadians!" leon shouted then approached the girl who was carried by a woman with all-white appearance and earned the nickname of the white devil.

She is the girl loved by Leon, the daughter of Arcadia who was previously taken away by King Gallagher.

"Harley, how did you get here?" leyn asked, because he had forbidden Harley to never approach the battlefield.

"long story. Forget about that, Brother Leyn and Brother Leon please stop being hostile because actually Brother Leon is only used by the evil King!" obviously Harley was panicking which only Leyn's smile responded to.

"Look Harley, we made up..."

Leyn averted her gaze to look at the Arcadia princess who was being hugged by Leon with a hint of confusion, "How did you find the girl?" her hands.

"Ah, he .. we encountered the evil King who deceived Brother Leon on the way to this place. Fortunately my master was able to defeat him so easily." Harley replied pointing at the Master.

The white-looking woman seemed stunned to see Gerald and Lovita in the place, while Gerald and Lovita looked at her in full search as if they were looking for the identity of the masked girl before them.

Gerald and Lovita are the strongest humans ever, though their powers are far below Estienne's, but they are still relatively powerful.

In just a few moments they both could guess the identity of the woman with all-white appearance and was very surprised to be made.

"You are-"

"We better talk about this somewhere else" the woman cut off and walked away from the others as if hinting Gerald and Lovita to follow her.

Meanwhile on the left side there are 7 holy angels consisting of Raphael the Humble, Michael Amal, Ramiel the Good, Azriel the Patience, Uriel the Chastity, Cassiel the Simplicity, and Gabriel the Perseverance. They were the ones sent by Lightosy Savannah.

Demon Kings and Queens like Estienne, Eve, and Clarion also knelt before River.
