Chp 80: Evolution Begins

The man moved his hand and created a blade again through something red that enveloped his body.

He did it slowly to give a surprise attack, but when he was ready to throw his blade, Zetton had already disappeared from his original place.

Xander glared his eyes when he realized that Zetton was already in front of his body and hit his stomach.

* BUGH!! *

Xander's body bounced back to hit the stone wall just because of Zetton's one punch, but it was actually not an ordinary punch because Zetton used Martial Magic without casting a spell.

Xander spewed out a mouthful of blood, wiping his lips he looked at Zetton in full search.

His strength is increasing drastically - Xander thought.

Zetton was still silent when he again lunged at Xander, who was still drowning in a spider-web-shaped crack in the wall, but Zetton used his leg to kick him.

Xander was alert, he then tilted his head which was the target of Zetton's kick which made him hit the stone wall to smash into pieces.

A dense dust was scattered in the air to cover the visibility of the two, but Zetton activated magic in his eyes to overcome the problem.

A few blood scythe attacks pointed towards Zetton's back, it was an attack he had to watch out for because it could absorb life energy and source power with just a small scratch.

Zetton flew up into the sky from what was originally within the crack of the lunar plain to dodge the attack.

But the attack still chased him like a boomerang until Zetton finally could destroy the blood scythe by cutting it.

Zetton prepared with his black sword, draining mana into it to make it coated in purple aura and then slashed it into the dust.

A crescent-shaped purple blade was created from his slash and rained down on the spot where Xander was still, but feeling that his opponent had not been hit, Zetton again made a huge slash.

The mighty slash shot out and shattered the crack where Xander was, creating a huge hole there.

Zetton turned his attention to see a bird-headed human figure carrying two women on his back, it was Finley, Riona, and Yui.

Yui leaves to take the two women under hypnotic influence away from the battle.

River who saw it in him became relieved, he and Zetton then turned his gaze back towards the bottom, precisely Xander who took refuge using a blood shield.

Moments later his blood shield melted into a very disgusting blood clot.

It seemed like his ability to use attacks that could absorb soul energy was limited - Inner River after observing the changes that had happened to Xander.

Simultaneously River also prepared his black sword then used his strongest sword technique.

He could feel the many souls of living beings trapped within the crystal, they cried out and whimpered begging for freedom.

It seems like all the souls that died because of Xander were locked up in this crystal for his evolution.

{It's a good chance boy, you can use it to evolve now!} zetton's suggestion made River scrunch his forehead.

Zetton's suggestion was so contrary to River's conscience, he did want to evolve and become even stronger to defeat the world system and free his parents.
