At a Nethilor academy training ground, the 5-E class River class was doing sword training with Cedric as his teacher.
As usual Cedric chose Asher and River to fight together at the beginning of training.
Everyone was sure that River would definitely lose miserably just like before, but this time was different because River looked so confident and faced Asher with a cynical smile.
"What's with the lowest rank now? He looks a little different...."
"I don't know but I'm sure that Asher will definitely win the game again like last time."
That is how whispers are heard.
Very different from other students who had faith if River would lose again, instead Finley was always confident of River's victory.
Asher raised his chin arrogantly, "After such a long time we can finally face each other again, I hope you don't disappoint me like last time" Asher said arrogantly.

Cedric's teacher's shout echoed in the training ground and brought the debate between Asher and River to a halt.
Asher uses Buffed's magic and instantly darts from his place towards River at a faster pace than before.
* SWOOOSH! *
* BOOOOOOOM! *
A huge explosion occurred at that spot when Asher slashed his sword towards River, but River had already disappeared first and made his sword hit the ground.
Simultaneously River suddenly appeared behind Asher as he slashed his sword.
Asher realized that and twisted his body to fend off River's slash using his greatsword.
* TING! *
Sparks of sparks were seen after the two swords clashed violently.
In that split second Asher immediately moved his leg to kick River's chin up, but River had already jumped up before Asher's foot touched his chin.
River spun backwards in the air and landed perfectly while Asher also retreated to keep his distance from River.
'The movement is very fast!' inner Asher.
Since the beginning of River disappearing from that Asher sword slash was already extremely fast, Asher could not even see its movements properly but could only see a black silhouette moving swiftly.
Asher also felt that if River's reflexes were very different from before, if his reflexes had been fast then now much faster as well.

No half-hearted Asher uses three types of Nerffed magic at once to River, but none of them work and hinder River's movement.
"D-Basic jerk!"
Asher grew angry and desperate.
He then used the same magic as the magic he used when subverting River in the previous fight.
[Earth Magic: Sandstrom Vortex]
The vortex grew stronger and stronger, making Asher's confidence return to his body after a moment of despair.
"What about that magic? I've trained the magic to its strongest level for this moment, now suffer there, Hahahaha!"
Asher let out a big laugh, he already felt like he had gained victory with his strongest magic.
But what happened next immediately dropped his confidence to the bottom of the abyss.

He cast out all the magic he mastered with great despair, hoping that it would hinder the movement of River who was getting closer to him.
But it was all in vain because River could slash all that magic.

"Go back to your classroom" Teacher Fanela ordered.

River was silent, he just looked at Asher whose face had paled with a sinister gaze then sheathed his sword before returning to the classroom just like Master Fanela ordered.
He left just like that leaving all the frightened gazes of the other disciples.

On River's way to the classroom, Finley suddenly approaches him.
"River, how are you? Are you all right? You've been looking a little weird lately." Finley looked worried.
"I'm fine." River replied without looking at Finley.
Finley felt strange, but did not think too much about it.
"Oh right, you haven't had breakfast, have you? I brought more supplies so let's have breakfast together." take Finley.
River glanced at Finley and saw him carrying a sizable supply box.
"I'm not hungry right now." River replied rather indifferently because he wasn't hungry.
Finley no longer accepted River's attitude which suddenly became indifferent to him.
"I thought something was weird about you River .. Why are you suddenly so sick of me? What the hell is going on? Please tell me, I will definitely help you...."
Finley was very saddened by River's change, he also cried a little when he expressed his feelings and held River's hand and shook it.
River brushed off Finley's hand because he felt uncomfortable.
"Stop that, you crybaby! What else can you do but cry? I hate people who are whiny!" bentak River's.
Seeing Finley's pitiful expression, River recalled his old self, so he hated it....
After snapping at Finley, River then left him speechless on the spot.
After being far enough away from Finley, River immediately leaned against the wall with a muddled mind.
"Maybe I'm angry for such a simple reason.." murmured River.
