Chp 82: Final Fight
Xander wanted to reach River, but it was too late because in fact the evolution of River took place much faster than he had anticipated.
"M-impossible." murmured Xander with wide eyes.
River is seen with his new form that is much more mature than before.
His height was on par with that of an adult while his black hair was much longer until it reached his waist but was a bit disheveled.
And the most striking of it all was the black clothes decorated with the blend of blue and purple he wore, it was a sign of the greatness of a God.
His aura had also changed greatly, he was no longer a half-God human but was already a full-fledged God!
"This is impossible! How could a lowly brat like you possibly gain this much power!" xander shouted in disbelief.
River did not answer him but just looked at him without emotion at all, making Xander hold his breath feeling the greatness of the figure who was his enemy.
Xander could feel death was imminent before his eyes as the eyes of the two of them met each other.
Instantly he had forgotten all his goals, starting from his anger because his hard work had been robbed and his determination to become a God.
The only thing he wanted was to leave that place as soon as possible....

But before he could move his legs, River had already grasped his face first and slammed him down.

The invisible attack of his had no effect at all even though it had hit River.
What the hell's going on? It was an attack that could absorb life energy, why would it have no effect!! - Xander's inner being was upset.
But it doesn't matter because my attack still hasn't stopped there.
The follow-up attacks again led to River, but again the attack did not work at all to him and made Xander again desperate.
All of the things that happened were due to River's special abilities namely First Attack Immunity and Preoceding Attack Immunity which could negate the enemy's first attack and follow-up attacks.
Even if the attack hit River then it would have no effect at all since he had the ability of the Illness Immunity.
And coincidentally, a strand of his hair had been cut off for no apparent reason but the Demon System had told him that it was Horrowitz's Special Skill.
