Chp 73: The War on the Moon

The moon portal lifts the bodies of River, Riona, Finley, Raymond, Neo, and Yui and moves them to the moon in the blink of an eye.

River looked around him and felt that this place was very different from his world. The density of mana on the moon was much thinner than in the world, so they would definitely have trouble using magic in this place.

Nothing was too much different other than the sheer mana in that place. They can still breathe, move freely, and use all kinds of power.

Note: This is a fantasy world, so the existence of the moon here is different from the moon in the real world that has no gravity etc.

"Let's move now!" bring Riona.

They were in a room in which there was an altar to their world. If there is a moon altar in the world, then on the moon there is an altar in the world.

River nodded and walked out of the room some sort of ancient ruins followed by the others behind.

River's instincts sharpened even more as he got closer to the exit of the ancient ruins, along with it his footsteps slowly grew slower.

"River what's up?" asked Finley who did not feel what River felt.

"There are people waiting for us outside these ruins" River replied.

"But I don't feel anything."

"River is the son of the Dark God who is also the owner of the moon, so he must have his own special abilities in this place" Riona said cutting Finley's words.

Finley nodded obediently and did not protest against Riona anymore because he knew if it was not the time to do so.

"Then what should we do?" ask Raymond.

"We can't turn around again if it's like this, so we'd better deal with them" River said, then began to speed up his pace.

Not in vain did I gather a lot of Undead troops - thought Raymond feeling excited.

Not long after the six of them had reached the exit of the ruins, a very bright light of lights highlighted them shortly afterwards that came from outside the ruins.

"Your Majesty Xander ordered you intruders to surrender yourself, if you are still putting up a fight then don't blame us for being rude!"

A man's shout rang out from outside the ruins, ordering River and the others to turn themselves in. But they did not intend to give up at all.

Until finally River and the others have come out of the ruins, seen millions of white troops who have surrounded them from all directions.

"Like the man named Xander was preparing a festive welcome for us." said Raymond smiled bitterly.

"Are they not the moon troops? They should have submitted to the Dark God's heir, right?" keep Riona.

"Heir of the Dark God? It's all just nonsense! The only one who has the right to replace the Dark God is His Highness Xander!" refute one of the people who heard Riona's words.

He had white armor with other motives from the other troops, it was possible that he was the leader of these troops and the one who shouted at the beginning earlier.

"It looks like you're the leader here." said River, then continued, "Tell that leader of yours that we'll never submit to him, and my only goal in coming here is to inherit the position that should be mine."

"Just dream that you can seize the position of His Majesty Xander the son of a bitch!" the leader's shout was accompanied by a passionate shout from the millions of troops behind him.

River let out a long sigh looking disappointed, "When I have been kind to you who were once my father's subordinates ..but with your attitude like this, then I will not hesitate anymore..."

"Then go ahead and show your strength!" the leader shouted to challenge River arrogantly.

A few seconds later the River had already disappeared from its place as if it had fused with the darkness of the moon.

But before the man can do it-

* SWIYING!! *

* CRAASH!! *

"Eh?"

The man was so confused because his head was separated from his body with just one slash from someone who was none other than River.

Black smoke clumped over the body of the leader who had become a corpse and then revealed the form of River with his black sword covered in blood.

"My strength has grown tremendously since my adventure on the Dyuraz continent. So fighting this kind of trash would be too easy for me." said River coldly as he stared at the leader's corpse.

The entire army of perhaps 10 million people gulped in a rough gulp as it saw their famous powerful leader die just like that.

Their bodies were even shivering and their legs were moving backwards by themselves, yet suddenly a subtle whisper was heard in the heads of all those troops.

'According to my every command or you will die, now kill all those boys without mercy!'

A tremendous upheaval arose in the millions upon hearing the whisperings in their heads, the whisper also removed the fear in the hearts of the men until it was not left at all.

They raised their weapons excitedly and shouted: ""Kill!!!""

Millions of troops that month directly hit the River, Finley, Riona, Raymond, Neo, and Yui simultaneously and full of violence.

"Tch! Bothered.." muttered River then prepared to attack.

On the other hand Raymond smiled excitedly, he raised his wand high and shouted: "Get out my troops!"

The gray-white surface of the moon started to darken and slowly a pair of hands started to come out from there.

It was Raymond's Undead army that was no less than the number of the moon troops, even the vast number was able to cover a little of the moon's surface.

Not only was it an ordinary Undead, but Raymond also had a large collection of Undead from Demon Ancestor Simon's subordinates that they managed to kill on the way to the moon altar.

They also have a much stronger power than when they were alive due to Raymond's ability to strengthen the forces he was living in.

The clash of the two great armies was inevitable.
