Chp 34: Class 1-A

A few days had passed and the new school year in the academy had again begun. Leon, Leyn, and Finley begin their new day in their new class, class 3-A.

While I also started a new day in my new class, which is class 1-A which is the highest class.

By the way, my rank also rose greatly thanks to the previous final exam, from the originally lowest rank to the top ten rank of 3rd rank.

Of course this caused a stir throughout the academy, and slowly the attitude of the people towards me started to change but I didn't pay much heed to it.

After walking down the academy hall for a while, I finally arrived at my new class.

Slowly but surely I opened the door of the class to enter, along with that the entire class that was originally noisy immediately quiet for a moment.

Everyone turned their eyes to me even though I had opened the classroom door slowly as if they had been waiting for my arrival.

"Hey, isn't that someone who's been talked about a lot lately?"

"That's right, I heard he got a 3rd rank from the originally lowest rank."

Those are the whispers that are heard, but I ignore them.

The only people that caught my attention were a beautiful black-haired girl and a white-haired man whom I knew very well.

The girl is Alexa Northern, an opponent of Olivia's previous. And that man is Issac Ryker, my former childhood friend.

I didn't see Olivia in this class, it's possible that she'd still be in 1-B class without any progress, what a pity.....

Well, I don't intend to help him anyway.

I chose to sit on the back bench, and soon a beautiful woman came to our class.

Judging from his appearance then he was one of the academy's teachers, more precisely he was our homeroom teacher.

"Good morning everyone." said the woman's teacher.

My name is Ariella Rutherford, you can call Master Ariel or Mis Ariel to sound closer, for my noble status seems to be unnecessary I say because my status here is only as a Teacher. Likewise with you who are only students." continued Teacher Ariel.

I'll just call her Ariel's teacher because I don't want to be seen closer to her.

Teacher Ariel had a cheerful and friendly stature when viewed from her smile, but I wasn't sure about it.....

"Huh!? We are just students!? No kidding! We are a noble, a noble who should get the respectful treatment of anyone! We shouldn't be required on par with the village people!"

One of the students shouted loudly against the words of teacher Ariel. Judging from his attitude and appearance, it seemed like he was a new student just like Leon and Leyn.

But before that happened, Teacher Ariel had already stopped Issac first.

"Well, Mis Ariel." replied Issac while sitting back in his chair.

This surprised me a little because someone like Issac suddenly obeyed someone obediently.

"Well! You even bowed to a weak woman!" reply the new disciple arrogantly.

The white glint through the new disciple's neck very quickly, made the disciple very confused.

* CRASSH! *

Blood gushed out profusely from the neck of the new disciple who had just been cut perfectly.

Instantly all the disciples became panicked and held their mouths which almost let out vomit. But that doesn't apply to me, Alexa, and Issac.

"One more foolish disciple has died miserably in this class." murmured Issac coldly and heartlessly.

"Everything's quiet!" teacher Ariel's resolute shout made all the students instantly speechless.

The friendly gaze of Teacher Ariel slowly became a sharp and bloodthirsty gaze.

"I know what just happened is very surprising to you, but you need to remember if we 1st grade teachers are allowed to do whatever we want to our students including killing him no matter if it is a noble child or not. So you have no right to complain...."

I've guessed this one teacher isn't just anyone.

He was so strong and fast that he could throw a needle that was cast by magic to chop off someone's head.

Maybe others couldn't see his attack but I could see it clearly.

I was actually even able to catch the needle before it hit that pathetic disciple, but what am I doing it for? He just insulted me....

Teacher Ariel's gaze and smile again became friendly, "Well, I hope that the incident that had not hindered our learning today."

"People like that deserve to die." I reply still with a flat face.

Teacher Ariel smiled sweetly, "Actually my goal in attacking that disciple is to test you, whether you will save him or not, I was curious about that. But without me guessing you just ignored him and let him die. In other words you're the one who killed that disciple, not me...."

So she wanted to leave everything to me huh.

"I don't care about that, what's important to me is that you seem to know me so well?" I said.

"Of course I know you, I mean who doesn't know you in this academy? Starting from a weak student who was always bullied to becoming a strong student who was even wary of the academy head in a few days, there were too many irregularities present on you so I wanted to dismantle them." teacher Ariel said with a sly smile.

He's quite honest.

I grinned as I stared at him sharply, "You better not dive too deep if you don't want to drown."

Teacher Ariel returned my gaze equally sharply, "I look forward to the times when I drown."

The two of us stared inside the quiet classroom for a while before Teacher Ariel turned her eyes, "Well, I look forward to our next meeting ... now I'm leaving because there's important business."

He then went outside the classroom while I just stared at his back from a distance.

'He is too dangerous to be allowed to stay alive.' My inner.
