Chp 119: Energy Qi

The sky emperor slightly gasped when he saw the arrow attack that was pointing straight at the World System, he could sense the presence of considerable Qi energy in the attack.

It should have been impossible since the Cultivator World sided with the World System in this war, but it really did happen and shocked him greatly.

"Is there a cultivator on the enemy's side?" muttered.

Soon some kind of destructive magic was thrown at the Emperor of the sky but easily overcome it by making a protective Qi and directly reverse the magic directed at him.

"I have to check it out myself!" the Celestial Emperor then charged at his enemy while killing some of them.

In the enemy territory the Celestial Emperor could see a woman who was focused on releasing several arrows with considerable Qi energy.

Just by looking at the appearance as well as the aura that the woman had was only the Celestial Emperor could already recognize who that woman was. She is his daughter who has been missing for years.

He was very happy and wanted to call out to her, but a sharp kick suddenly aimed directly at him which made him instantly flung into the dimensional wall.

An incredible lightning sting could the Celestial Emperor feel when it hit that extremely powerful and deadly dimensional wall.

He had a very high cultivation level and was arguably the highest in his world, his entire soul and body had been forged to an extremely terrifying stage but the pain of that dimensional sting successfully left him so tormented.

The celestial emperor cried out loud to the utter shock of the entire region as the overwhelming pain shattered his entire nerves.

The result of the scream also made everyone suddenly cover his ears along with a layer of dimension that shook violently before being smashed into pieces like a glass.

The heavenly Emperor's breath gasped for breath when he finally escaped the sting of the powerful dimension that was like wanting to pull himself into the realm of death.

"What the fuck was that .. who attacked me.." said the Emperor of the sky.

He looked straight ahead and found someone who had kicked him very strongly, his pupils suddenly widened when he realized the person who attacked him was the leader of his enemy, more precisely River!

What an incredible power - thought the Emperor of the heavens looking at River who had an aura of darkness and gold blazing like fierce flames.

Not long after the dimensional layer that had just been smashed into pieces again recovered as usual, along with that the war that had stopped flared again because of River's command through telepathy.

"Your daughter is on my side, so stay away from her" River said as he slowly approached the sky emperor who was still adjusting his breathing.

But upon hearing River's words, the sky emperor became furious and gritted his teeth in annoyance, "I will definitely release you from your shackles!"

River smiled faintly at the words of the Emperor of the heavens, he never curbed Evelyn's freedom nor ordered her to fight. Everything he did was purely his own will.

And the emperor of the heavens said that River shackled Evelyn's freedom? No, it was even River who helped Evelyn from the bad guys while on earth.

River could tell if Evelyn and the Celestial Emperor had a blood relation of their exact same strength and the blood flowing in Evelyn's body was also the same as that of the celestial emperor, from there alone River could already deduce if the two of them had a blood relation.

For the reason why the two of them were able to part ways River did not know about it and had no intention of looking for him, which he would definitely not let the enemy before his eyes escape.

The sky emperor shot towards River while preparing his fist that was filled with Qi energy equivalent to one universe.

The sky emperor gathered all the power he had in his fist and used his extremely legendary golden dragon cultivation technique, hoping to defeat River in a single blow that could destroy that one world.

But it was just a naive thought...

River stayed in place to wait for the Celestial Emperor's attack which looked extremely slow in his eyes. Until the distance of the sky Emperor's punch was only a few centimeters away from his face, River moved his hand and caught the punch directed at him.

The sky emperor smiled arrogantly, "What a naive thing! There was not a single entity that could withstand this special Qi energy!" his yell.

His statement was indeed true, no one could accept the power of Qi even if it was a god then he would die, but River did not run out of sense.

「Gluttony!」

Yep, again River relied on his Gluttony ability to absorb the Qi energy that was already in front of his eyes.

The large amount of Qi energy released by the Celestial Emperor to attack River had now been absorbed by River's Gluttony ability and made the famous extremely powerful Celestial Emperor become extremely shocked.

"This is impossible!" sergeant.

However it did not stop there, after absorbing the entire Qi energy released by the Celestial Emperor, River quickly gripped tightly onto the head of the Celestial Emperor.

The celestial emperor wanted to rebel but could not because he had lost a lot of Qi energy and needed quite a long time to recover it, but he did not give up until there.

With the Qi energy still remaining in his dantian, the Celestial Emperor again sent a punch using his left hand into River's abdomen hoping to injure him.

"You can't beat me, so accept your death freely..."

The sky emperor shouted loudly when he felt his entire soul along with his cultivation level being absorbed quickly by River through his right hand holding onto his head.

Until not long after, the sky emperor's body instantly turned into ashes with all of his cultivation levels having been absorbed by River.

River tightened his grasp, sensing the immense and unique power that engulfed his soul to make him tremble violently due to his Qi energy and mana colliding within his body.

"Still not yet" said River refusing to undertake a third evolution.

His red-eye bead was staring at two people from the enemy side who looked very striking on the battlefield, he was the Goddess Apocalypse and the God of the Sci-Fi world, Megatronic!

"I have to gather all the different types of energy and make an evolution at once." murmured River coldly.
