Chp 77: A Disaster

Half a part of the Dark Gods castle was destroyed with a few people coming out from underground while fighting extremely fiercely.

They were River and Riona who were fighting against Issac who had many arms on his body.

Every time they cut off his arm surely the man would continue to grow it as if his entire body could be modified as he pleased.

Issac floated in the air as he just came out of the basement while River and Riona had already landed smoothly on the gray lunar plain.

But soon after with a loud bang on the surface of the moon, River and Riona again shot upwards or rather towards Issac while levitating several slashes.

"Tch!"

River clucked in annoyance as his slash that should have been able to cut off Issac's entire hand only managed to cut off one of his hands, it was due to Issac's extremely fast reflexes.

After that Issac again grew his severed hand to attack River again....

The incident continued to happen repeatedly until Issac finally changed the pattern of his attack by creating a sharp blade in his right hand, then plugged it into River's stomach.

Unprepared for the sudden change in attack pattern, River could not fend off the puncture until it made the sharp blade successfully pierce his stomach.

A sharp blade pierced through River's stomach, making blood gush profusely from behind his back.

"Haha!! How about this fucking asshole?!" issac shouted with excitement because he managed to severely injure River.

River moved his hand, reached for the sharp blade stuck in his stomach and then pulled it out slowly to make the sound of friction of bones and flesh sound very clear.

The hole in River's abdomen was so obvious, yet slowly the massive wound began to regenerate with a purple aura that adorned it. And within a few seconds, the hole in his stomach was tightly closed.

"Where's Yui?" ask River.

"W-he's still in that basement!" riona answered who also started to remember Yui's whereabouts.

A voice rang out from the hole next to the Dark God's castle that led straight to the basement, where they met with Issac for the first time.

River and Riona turned their eyes and saw Yui's figure near the hole, it seemed like she was coming out through the hole.

"You okay Yui?" riona said as she approached the girl followed by River.

"I'm fine." Yui replies forcing herself to smile.

River and Riona know what really happened to Yui and are saddened by it, even Riona who didn't like the girl in the first place now hugs her tightly with pity.

"Relax .. You still have us by your side." said Riona while hugging Yui.

"Thank you brother.." Yui felt very moved.

Now was not the time to relax and hug each other, Riona took off her embrace towards Yui and tried to be tough, while River still had not turned his eyes on the bird-headed man who was flying around in the sky.

"That bird man ... is that your summoned creature, Yui?" tanya River guessed coupled with Yui's nod.

"I guess you can only summon ghosts." muttered Riona.

"Yui also just found out that if you can call other creatures besides ghosts, Yui just needs to imagine the form of the creature and needs a soul that is worth calling her." Yui replied while looking at the creature call.

Meanwhile, Finley and Raymond were running towards the Dark God's castle to catch up with River, and the others saw the crack in front of them.

"What's going on here? Is our main enemy out?" finley asked a little frantically looking at the big crack that was getting into it.

"Maybe the guy showed up!" said Raymond who also looked very panicked.

He no longer had a single Undead army right now, so he was clearly in a panic.

Footsteps sounded behind the two of them and made them immediately turn around with great caution.

A grin was vividly painted on the face of a man who had long white hair and was extremely disheveled, his pupils were red with black eyeballs while his body was enveloped in something blood red.

Raymond could sense that if the man had such immense strength that he was about to approach the Gods, he was Xander!

"Fufu~ a daughter of the Goddess of Light will definitely be of great help to my evolution." she said as she approached Finley.

Finley was still frozen in place with eyes that had lost the light of his life, he was already exposed to the influence of Xander's magic right when he saw his eyes.

"T-no.." said Raymond softly as he reached Xander's feet.

A look of disdain appeared on Xander's face as his feet were held by a figure he considered to be a lowly being.

"The basis of a lowly entity." murmured Xander and showered Raymond's body with more blood swords.
