Chp 15: Black Swordsman

When I got back to Master and Raymond's place, they had already prepared a grill to bake the game I was carrying.

After slaughtering and cleaning, the meat is ready to be roasted.

I saw Raymond who looked enthusiastic about the freshly roasted venison.

"Undead can eat human food?" many confusions.

"Actually I can't, but I'm going to use my magic to digest food like humans" Raymond replied.

I'm still confused.

"Why did you go this far just to eat food?" my many.

"I've never eaten human food in a long time, so I'm enthusiastic about this. Besides I have too many magic objects that I have never used before, so this is not in vain."

Master suddenly entered the conversation, "You know about the blue whale that's in the Frostland mountain river?"

Blue whales in one of the rivers in the Frostland mountains are quite well known for having a very long age.

It is said that if anyone managed to drink his blood it will make the person have a long life like the blue whale itself.

But of course the blue whale had immense strength and was almost on par with an SSS-level monster.

"I've never seen him in person but I've heard of a black swordsman who killed one of them in my lifetime." Raymond said.

"Why did you suddenly ask that?" continued Raymond.

I'm curious too.

"It's nothing, talking about food makes me remember about the meaty taste of the Frostland mountain blue whale, it makes me a little nonstalgic...."

The master said that so casually regardless of the expressions on the faces of the two of us who suddenly paled.

I don't really know about black swordsmen because there are no books discussing them, but that nickname sounds really cool!

Raymond suddenly held the Master's hand with his sobs, "I never thought I'd meet anyone I'd admired in my life, even though I was dead anyway..."

"Raymond, you look pathetic." I said with a flat expression.

Anyone would put out an expression like me when they saw the monstrous Undead figure crying out in a cry.

Raymond suddenly grabbed my shoulder.

"Child today doesn't know what about the black swordsman, you should respect him more when you know about his identity in the past!" raymond shouted in front of my face until it spurted foul liquid from his Undead mouth.

"I know I know, so get away from my face!" my yelling.

Moments later the situation calmed down, I looked at the Master and asked, "Can the Master tell me about the Master's past? I'm a little curious."

Master is a very mysterious person, he has a power that might be able to subvert one kingdom easily, but he does not do so but only wants to find a disciple.

According to Raymond's story, Master was also someone nicknamed the black swordsman who lived thousands of years ago, it was impossible for humans to have such a long lifespan.

The master pondered a little before he replied, "I can't tell you everything in detail, but I can tell you some important points about myself, do you want to hear it?"

"No problem." I replied while Raymond just nodded his head enthusiastically.

"All right."

Master began to tell stories while roasting the venison that was still not too mature.

To be able to move from one continent to another is very difficult because of the very severe ocean conditions.

Not to mention the existence of powerful monsters in the ocean that were very different from the monsters that existed on land.

So life moving around from one continent to another sounds very absurd, but it's not impossible considering that doing so is a Master.

Master continued.

"I always carry a pitch-black sword wherever I go, including on adventures on this continent, I did a lot of adventures and always helped a lot of people who were in trouble so long ago I began to be known by the nickname of the black swordsman."

The master stopped telling stories.

"That's it?" my many.

"That's right."

"Thank you" said Raymond, then continued, "You lived on this continent thousands of years ago, was that the time when the Equestrian Empire was still standing?" ask Raymond.

"That's right, what's wrong with that?"

"No. .. I just want to know how could a great empire like Equestria's empire collapse in just a few years after my death, it was a little awkward because as far as I could tell the emperor of Equestria had an enormous power to lead that empire." asked Raymond.

It looks awkward, so I'm curious too.
