46. Things That Are Hard to Accept By Everyone

Three days after Winter decided to go on medication, Winter had a family dinner, and her uncle and aunt invited Winter to her home, including Spring and her parents who were also invited Winter.

All the food on the table is the result of Spring and Winter. More or less all the food Spring is making, because Winter is not good at cooking. But at least Winter is a little helpful when it comes to cutting vegetables and meat.

Winter gathers everyone not because he wants to hold a dinner, but he wants to tell about his pain that he has been hiding.

How nervous Winter was, to make his sitting uncomfortable and repeatedly he continued to adjust his breathing to control his nervousness.

"Hm, what makes you look so nervous, is there something you want to tell us?" asked Theo stared at the astonishment of his youngest son.

Winter breathed out quickly. "Hm, there are a few things I want to tell you all, especially to mom and dad."

"Is today such a special day that it makes you have a dinner like this?" asked Olivia smiling.

Winter immediately clasped Spring's hand, then held it and showed it to everyone. "The first thing I want to say is, about the status of Spring which is no longer my best friend. Spring now officially bears the status of my lover."

Everyone smiled happily, but not Edward, Kate, and James. Edward and Kate look sad on his face, because maybe they already know the things his nephew will tell you today. If James does not need to be asked again, he must be upset that his daughter has a lover at his age who he thinks is still quite small.

James also sighed while looking intently at the lover of his daughter. "Don't you guys focus on studying instead of dating."

"Learning is necessary, but prioritizing happiness is equally important" Spring said.

Although upset and even though James did not like his daughter to have a lover, but how else, he could not ask Spring and Winter to separate, he said, at a time when everyone, especially his wife, is very supportive of Spring and Winter's relationship.

Winter then went back to exhaling his breath quickly. "Then, the second thing I want to say is about Alex. I sincerely hope that father and mother will no longer curb Alex, let him achieve his own dream."

Olivia nodded quickly. "No way, he can't pursue his vague dream."

Winter's throwing his breath away. "Alex has talent in music, if he pursues that talent, I am sure Alex will succeed in achieving his dream. He will never be happy if he has to continue to obey your will. Is not your duty as parents not only to educate, but also have an obligation to make it happy."

Theo. "Alright, I'll agree to your brother's will. But on one condition, he must succeed in achieving his dream."

Alex smiled with excitement. "Of course, I'm going to really achieve my dream."

Although Olivia is upset, she finally agrees to her son's wishes, after Winter repeatedly persuades her. And Winter was finally able to smile happily after his parents agreed to his request.

"Then, my last request is, I want you to go your separate ways. I don't want you guys waiting for me to graduate school for a divorce. Don't you have a partner for what you keep together when you don't love each other."

"You're not good at honing things from me, I've seen you go out on dates with your lovers. It's just that I never said it, when I found out you had a boyfriend." Winter smiled with her eyes suddenly flooded. "After you're apart, can you please take a lot of time for me? You guys should introduce your lovers to me, too."

Olivia tears her eyes, she grabs Winter's hand and says. "Of course, we're going to give you a lot of time. But, did you really let us part?"

Winter smiled as he shed his tears. "I'll be very happy when you're apart. Because I know when you're together, you don't feel happy. So, I hope that you can split up soon without having to think about me. And I also want to apologize to you with what I've been hiding from you all along."

"What are you hiding from us?" ask Theo wonder.

This is the last thing that is very heavy for Winter to say. He was even more nervous when the thing he had been hiding had to be told to everyone, especially his father and mother.

Winter took a deep breath, then exhaled quickly. After that, he freely said. "I have late-stage leukemia. My cancer won't completely go away even after treatment, but I will try to recover. If I can't get well, I hope you can let me go, especially for you, Spring," he replied with a sullen eye.

Olivia and Theo are shocked to death after hearing that, she does not believe that her youngest son has a terrible disease.

"When have you been hiding it? Only Edward and Kate knew about your illness, because they were the only ones who looked ordinary after hearing it."

Winter nodded. "I just told my uncle Edward and aunt Kate. I'm sorry I couldn't frankly tell you."

Olivia breathed her rough, she stared angrily at Edwar and Kate. "Why are you hiding it from me. You should have told me from the beginning" he said raising his voice.

Seeing that Edward and Kate were infuriated by her mother, Winter could not stay still. Because he's the one guilty of asking Edward and Kate to hide his pain.

"I'm the one who told them not to tell anyone, I hope you don't abuse them too much" Winter said.

The terrible disease that Winter suffered greatly shocked everyone, especially his father and mother. Winter's pain has also hurt those who love her. The thing that cannot be accepted by everyone is, if you have to let Winter go home to God, especially for Spring who until now refused to let Winter, Winter, if one day her lover should leave her life.

"Don't I tell you to always be optimistic about healing. I want to live long with you" Spring said with sobs.

Winter clutches Spring's body tightly. "I'm optimistic about healing. But if God says something else, I just hope you can smile so I can go in peace."

Spring shook. "How can I smile when my happiness is all on you."

Winter wiped away the tears on Spring's face. "Smile if God calls me one day, because then I'll be happy to see you. I will always be happy if you put on a chest to let me. Seeing you smile is my source of happiness. Remember Spring, I'll always be watching you up there, so don't ever feel left behind by me."

Spring hugged Winter's body quickly, tightly hugging and crying sobbing in the arms of the man who had been her lover. "I love you so much that it makes it hard to let you go."
