40. Be quick to confess

Spring goes to the house of the Collin family, who are now in residence by his eldest son along with his small family. Spring knocked loudly on the door of the house while shouting Alex with an angry look.

"Alex, get out of here."

The one who opened the door was not the one Spring expected, but Celline the wife of Alex Collin.

"Where's Alex?" Spring barges in without permission, then yells back to the man Spring suspects of taking the life of his first love. "Alex where you are, hurry out."

Celline quickly grabbed onto Spring's arm to stop his steps. "Can you not yell and barge into any house, my son is terrified."

Spring brushed Celline's hand off her arm. "If you don't want to make me yell, then get your husband out to see me."

"Now Alex is not home."

"Then where he is, I'll go after him."

Celline sighed harshly and looked irritatedly at Spring's face. "Do you want to meet him and continue to accuse him of being a murderer. I've told you several times that Alex isn't a killer. Even the police said that Winter died by suicide."

A new memory re-emerges, in which, after Winter's departure, Spring constantly forces Alex to confess to his crimes. Until now Spring still can not accept what the police say, if his best friend died due to ending his own life.

"I'm going to trust the police. The police could have been gagged in his mouth with money. When Winter dies, Alex is the only child of Uncle Theo and Aunt Oliv, and they will never lose another child. I know with the attitude of those who don't want to make his surname tarnished, they could have given the police money so that all the evidence could be manipulated. They even require their children to live perfectly, even if the life they want doesn't make them happy."

Celline grunting. "Then did you see if Alex killed Winter. You just came in when Winter was lifeless."

"If I didn't see Alex killing, but I saw clearly that Alex's shirt was full of bloodstains." Spring is rising.

"I didn't know Alex or you at the time, but I've heard Alex's story that your shirt was full of blood because you touched Winter. Just like Alex, he also touched Winter because he panicked to see his sister lying on the floor" said Celline with annoyance.

Spring tilted his smile as he stared intently at Celline. "Why is he so panicked and not answering when I asked. It is very clear if he is the killer, because the guilty person will avoid the question and even turn his face. You believe it because you're his wife, I'm sure you know your husband is a murderer. Just because of your love to defend trash like him."

Celline was getting more black after Spring insulted her husband. What's more, right now his son is watching the great quarrel of Spring and himself. Celline also had a reflex to hit hard on Spring's face.

"So talk! Don't you have any manners. How dare you call him a scum and a murderer near my son. You may berate and curse it, but not when my son is."

"Why not, he should know that his father is guilty. It's my and Winter's reply because you've all covered up Winter's death case" Spring raised her voice. Spring immediately wept loosely in front of Celline and her son. "That's how you lived happily, when I lost Winter, and when Winter's dream was interrupted by Alex's actions, you dared to live happily."

"That's just bullshit, he must have laughed off his killing spree." Spring immediately tugged at Celline's clothes while crying loudly. "Give Winter back, give him back to me."

Then suddenly Lucy and Spring's parents arrive. Lucy quickly pulls Spring away and keeps him away from Celline.

"There's enough Spring. It's free for you to ask him back, Winter will never come back. If you're like this, up there Winter will be sad to see it."

"If Winter can't come back, at least he'll get justice. You also saw it when Alex panicked with a shirt full of blood and rushed away after our arrival at his house. We're witnesses, we can make a plea to the police to reopen the Winter case."

Lucy grabs Spring's hands to calm him down. "We've tried before, but the police remain firm with the results of the investigation." Lucy then wipes away the tears on Spring's face. "Don't you give up on quitting Winter's death case. Stop thinking about it, and be happy if you want Winter to be happy up there."

Spring shook his head with both eyes unwilling to stop spouting water. "I'll never be happy if there's no Winter by my side."

Soon after Alex came home, Spring quickly pulled his arm. "Winter didn't die by suicide. You killed him, you have to admit your mistake if you really deny it."

Instantly Alex pushed Spring's body rough to make the woman who was begging him fall.

"I've said it over and over again, I didn't kill him" said Alex raising his voice.

"I don't believe your confession at all" said Spring, who raised his voice.

James could not stay silent to see his daughter who had made a scene in the house. What else saw his daughter, sitting while crying. James forcefully pulls Spring out of Alex's house.

"That's enough, stop offending Alex. I know that you lost Winter so much, but you can't just go wrong with Alex just because Alex was the last person to be with Winter at her house."

"Did you believe Alex wasn't the killer?" asked Spring with an angry look on his face.

"All the evidence that the police have investigated is very concrete, there are no fingerprints of Alex from a knife stuck in Winter's body. Everything was explained by the police when Winter died by suicide. So, stop wronging Alex because he's innocent."

Even though everyone believes the police statement, Spring remains firm in his stance, if he still does not believe if Winter died of suicide. Spring very clearly see how much Alex panicked when asked about the whereabouts of Winter. Even Alex turned his face away from Spring.

Although Spring doesn't know why Alex killed Winter, Spring continues to abuse her and will continue to force Alex to confess to his crimes.

There's no shame in him, even though every day Spring has to make a scene in front of Alex's house. To the extent that his son and wife Alex have to leave the house for a while, until Spring stops making a fuss. Spring will not give up and will never make the small family of the person he accuses of being a murderer can live quietly. Whatever the way and how, Spring will continue to pressure Alex to admit his mistake.
