31. The Messy Relationship

Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and the next day, a lot of time Spring gives for Winter. Spring has never been absent to accompany Winter, wherever Winter goes Spring always follows her. However, the time Spring gives Winter is unfair to Lucy. Just like in her previous life, Lucy suddenly moves away from Spring after Spring's time is reduced for Lucy.

As Spring approached her, Lucy immediately left with a sour look.

"Are you angry with me?" tanya Spring followed Lucy's steps.

"Why do you ask that, isn't it obvious," replied Lucy who would not turn to look at Spring in the slightest.

Spring grabs Lucy's hand to stop her steps. "I don't understand why you're mad at me for no reason."

Lucy breathed out her rough breath. "Am I a friend to you. Every time I ask you for help or even if I want to tell you, you're never there for me."

"I'm sorry, but you never once asked me for help. Or when I ask you to tell me about your problem, you never want to tell me."

Lucy tilted her smile as she stared intently at Spring's eyes. "I've asked you a few times for help. Just dropping me off you always said you couldn't because you had to go with Winter. You should know Spring, when you're down I'm always there for you, but you're never there for me when I'm down."

Of course Spring will not know if Lucy is down, because Lucy never once told the story when Spring asked for it.

"How do I know if you've never told me that."

"It's true I never told him. Because I can't tell it in front of anyone but you. Do you have time for me, when I ask you to go with me. And how can I tell you about my problems, when you're busy with Winter."

Not because Skylar Lucy drifted away from her previous life, and not because Winter Lucy drifted away from her current one. But because it was Spring who was guilty couldn't understand Lucy's circumstances. And couldn't give Lucy much time.

"I'm sorry" said Spring with his own face.

Lucy leaves without even returning an apology from Spring. This time, Spring will lose Lucy again. Isn't one of Spring's missions to keep Lucy by his side.

Spring can't just give up, even if Winter is the most important person in her life, it doesn't mean Spring has to let Lucy go. Spring goes after Lucy. "I'm really sorry. Can you not stay away from me. I'd be really, really sorry if one of my friends had to go."

"Then, would you be able if you had to stay away from Winter like you were away from me."

"I never stayed away from you. Right now Winter needs me so much, that I can't share my curse for you."

"You know Spring, if you're my only friend. I need it just as much as Winter. To whom should I lean if my friends and family can't give me time." Lucy immediately shed her tears.

I don't know what problems Lucy is facing, making her unable to hold back the tears in front of Spring. Spring cries when she sees Lucy in tears.

"I'm really sorry I couldn't give you my goddamn time. Can't you make another choice, because I can't afford to stay away from Winter."

"If you can't help but apologize to me and don't follow me constantly. Because I can't get my chest to forgive you." Lucy stepped out her feet with her angry look.

Spring just fell silent while staring at Lucy's steps that were getting away. A tough choice for Spring, how can Spring stay away from Winter when Winter's life is under threat. Moreover, heading for Spring's birthday was less than a month away. But Spring can't keep Lucy away like she used to. It is a heavy choice for Spring if you have to choose one of them.

As Lucy steps away, suddenly a classmate comes to Spring with a panicked look on her face.

"Why are you still here, on the basketball court everyone's in a frenzy watching Winter pass out."

"Maybe he's in the UKS now."

Spring quickly ran to the UKS. And sure enough what his classmate said, Winter was unconscious in the patient's bed. As Spring approaches, Spring again sees blood on Winter's shirt.

"Is she a nosebleed again," Spring muttered focusedly staring at the bloodstains on Winter's clothes.

Then immediately Skylar came to the Spring in the UKS. "I think he's a great man like the people talk about, but he's actually weak. Before he finished the match he passed out" Skylar said.

Spring was immediately irritated after hearing the insults Skylar. Where could he just shut up after the most valuable man in his life was to be insulted by Skylar.

"He's good at basketball, if he loses it means there's a reason. Look at him lying unconscious in bed, which means he's sick. When his body was healthy, he would definitely earn a lot of points."

Skylar grinned. "Whatever you say, what matters now is that I win the bet."

"Betc? What bets are you making?" tanya Spring looked at Skylar's astonishment.

Skylar smile. "Because today is my birthday, I want you to accompany me. But if I lose I tell Winter to stay away from you. And it turns out I'm the one who won, so today you have to come with me."

Spring could believe Winter was playing a basketball game with Skylar because of a bet. Moreover, Skylar is a person who is always looking for an opportunity to approach Spring. Spring threw away his face after hearing what Skylar said.

"I'm not gonna believe you. Wait until Winter wakes up, I want to ask her for an explanation."

"Please, I'll wait for him to wake up, so he doesn't lie behind my back."

It didn't take them long to wait, and Winter finally opened his eyes.

"Spring," he called out, as his eyes fell on Spring.

Spring was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after seeing Winter wake up. But he also felt annoyed because Winter could not maintain the condition of his body.

"It should be when you are sick do not do too much activity. You know, when I worry about you so much."

Skylar suddenly began to die. "Ehem... Now that Winter is conscious, I want Winter to admit defeat. And admit that I won the bet."

Spring gave a rough sigh. "Am I really being made a bet by you?" ask Spring to Winter.

As if feeling guilty, Winter spontaneously swallowed his saliva. "Sorry, it's made you a betting material. After school go with Skylar."

Instead of preventing Spring from leaving with Skylar, Winter lets her go. Spring until it is not finished with the behavior of Winter. How can Winter make Spring a betting ingredient. What else Winter directly turned his back on after saying that.

"Am I a toy to you, so you'll just make me a betting material" Spring said.

Spring left Winter with an angry look on his face. Angry and annoyed at the current taste of Spring. Spring gives up her relationship with Lucy, but the friend she is fighting for desperately acts like that on her. Spring must be disappointed with Winter's behavior today.
