The Back To 2012

The Back To 2012
39. A Dream That Feels Real

Arriving at Spring in front of Winter's house, Spring rushes in without first knocking on the door. She calls Winter and searches for Winter in every room including Winter's room. However, when Spring was about to enter Alex's room, suddenly the brother of his best friend came out of the room with a shirt full of blood spots.

"Where's Winter?" Spring grabbed Alex's arm in panic.

Instead of answering, Alex threw Spring's hand from his arm, then rushed away with a panicked look. Spring rushed into Alex's room. When his steps were right in the room, he was shocked to death after finding Winter lying with a knife stuck in his stomach.

Spring was instantly shocked and spontaneously cried, then patted Winter's cheeks in panic. "Winter wake! Hurry the ambulance right now," he told Skylar and Lucy.

Spring broke down in tears and called out the name Winter. Winter's breath was no longer felt blowing, even his pulse was not felt. Spring panicked, he did not stop crying and shouted to wake Winter up. However, suddenly his head felt very dizzy and even his vision was getting blurry. Soon, Spring was unconscious.

Until a faint voice from his mother was heard in the eardrum. "Spring, it's time you woke up."

Spring's eyes were half open. "Is Winter okay."

Tessa sighs. "What this time you dream of Winter again. It's been 10 years that you haven't stopped thinking about it. It's time you forgot about it, if you want Winter to go quietly."

Spring quickly widened his eyes, then hurriedly inched from his bed. "What year is it now?"

Tessa shakes. "Have you forgotten the year, it's 2022."

If indeed now the year 2022 means that in nature is only a dream. It turns out that repeating the past is a ridiculous thing that cannot happen. Going back to 2012 was a dream of his deep sleep. Even just a dream, Spring could not save the life of his first love. However, the dream felt very real for Spring. Until making Spring was astonished to think of the dream that occurred in his deep sleep.

"Ehem." Tessa mendeham saw her only daughter who was dissolving in her daydream. "Why silent sculpt like that, quickly wash your face and quickly join the dining table."

"I'm still confused by my dream last night, it felt so real."

Tessa clucked after hearing what Spring said. "Ck, dreams are just a sleeping flower, which sometimes good dreams or nightmares feel very real. Don't think about it too late, because every story in a dream isn't real."

It is true, every story that goes through in a dream is not real. However, for the dream that Spring experienced is very real.

As Spring joins his father and mother for breakfast, Spring can't stop thinking about his dream. He dissolves in his daydream while playing his spoon.

"What do you really think, to make you daydream and just stir your food," said James staring at the mere wonder of the princess.

"Eitherway. After I woke up from my sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about my dreams last night."

Tessa sighs. "I've told you not to think about your dreams, because dreams are nothing but unreal."

"What dream did you have until you kept thinking about it?" ask James.

"My dream might sound weird if I tell you, but maybe someone could repeat the past."

Thinking about dreams is useless. Only in a dream did Spring not save Winter, and even repeated the same mistakes.

Spring finally stopped thinking about her sleeping flowers, he tried to finish his breakfast even though he was not tasteful after his mind dissolved thinking about his dream.

After Spring had finished his breakfast, he was suddenly amazed by what his mother had said.

"Later in the afternoon Lucy will come here, so what do you think I should make for her?"

"Lucy's? He can't come to our house. For 10 years I have not communicated and met him face to face. Not even his whereabouts have I known all this time."

Tessa furrowed her brows, staring at the astonished face of her daughter. "Spring, you're really weird when you wake up. How can you not communicate and meet face to face with him. You go to the same university as him and even your apartment is next to him. What I see is that your relationship with her is fine, there's never been a problem."

As Spring knows, he has never communicated with Lucy again and has not even met since the last 10 years. But, if what his mother said is true, it means that the dream that Spring experienced is not a flower of sleep, but a reality. Because maybe the future can change after Spring slightly changed the story in his past.

"Is it true Lucy's coming home?" ask Spring to confirm his doubts.

"Didn't you say it last night when Lucy was coming home. Why are you asking that to my mother?"

Suddenly a new memory flashed through his head. Events that Spring had never experienced continued to cross his brain. However, there is no Winter in it. The last memory of Winter is only when Spring comes to Winter's house, and finds her best friend unconscious on the floor with a knife stuck in her stomach.

"Then, what about Winter? Where is he now?" ask Spring in a panic.

"Take it easy, I told you many times to stop thinking about Winter" Tessa replied.

Spring's eyes instantly flooded with her panicked look. "Why should I stop thinking about it?"

"He's dead, you have to stop thinking about people who can't come back." Tessa grabs Spring's hand. "Spring, forget him. You should be happy if Winter wants to calm down."

"How can I be happy if Winter's death is unnatural. Then what about Alex, is he in jail? Because he's the only one in the house with Winter."

Tessa sighs. "Stop offending Alex. Police are investigating whether Winter's death was a suicide. I know you can't accept Winter's death, but you can't offend anyone else."

"How come I didn't offend him, when Alex's shirt was full of blood after leaving Winter in his room. He didn't even answer when I asked him about Winter's whereabouts."

"Alex's clothes are full of bloodstains probably because he's like you trying to wake Winter up, so accidentally his blood stuck to his shirt. Accept Winter's departure, and stop lingering in your grief."

Spring stood up from his seat. "Uncle Theo and Aunt Olivia may have paid the police to manipulate the evidence, so Alex wouldn't be locked up in bars. But, I don't believe the police statement, because I'm a witness." Spring was in a hurry to leave the dining table crying.
