41. Recognition

Whether bored or over-excited, Spring suddenly gets a message on his phone from Alex, if the older brother of his first love asks him to meet at his family's Villa. Spring hastened to meet the man she suspects is the killer of her first love.

Just as Spring gets there, Alex is standing looking at Spring and Winter's favorite tree.

"Are you asking me to meet because you want to admit your mistake?" tanya Spring stepped closer to him.

When Spring came, Alex did not look at him at all, his eyes only focused on staring at the cherry blossom tree. The look on his face was sad, and both of his eyes were inundated by water.

"It should be that Winter is seeing this beautiful flowering tree" Alex said with both eyes starting to pierce the water.

Unbeknownst to Alex, Spring quickly turns on the recording device on his phone. "There's no need for pleasantries, quickly confess that Winter died not by suicide but because you killed him" he said raising his voice.

"He has replaced me." Alex looked at Spring with his eyes twinkling. "It should have been then, I was the one who died" he said, raising his voice.

"What do you mean. Why should he replace your position?" ask Spring astonished.

Alex's cry broke, crying loudly in front of Spring. "I was fed up with the pressure my father and mother kept asking me to get into the best university in America. I was even willing to abandon my dreams just to pursue the dreams my parents hoped for. I've applied several times to the university of their choice, but I always failed. I was even abandoned by my lover just because I was a loser who couldn't get into any of the best universities."

"Then, what does this have to do with Winter. Why would you kill an innocent person" Spring said with her eyes inundated.

"When I was so fed up with my life, I decided to end it. I bought some stuff and poison for me to use as an end-of-life tool. But, because one of my friends suspected me, he called Winter. And in the end, when I was about to end my life, he came and tried to prevent me" Alex said, still spouting water.

"Then, what did you do that he had to get a stab wound, and why did he have to replace you dead?" tanya Spring ride apitam.

"Because he kept asking me to stop, I threatened him with a knife. But he kept coming towards me, until I accidentally stabbed him. And it's true that my father and my mother paid the police to manipulate the evidence, until Winter finally committed suicide."

After hearing the story from Alex, Spring's anger began to be at the level of boiling, to make him reflex slap hard men who have claimed the lives of the people he loves the most.

"Suckers! Why do you dare to live happily after taking his life."

"After taking my sister's life, do you think I'm happy. Every time I remember the last time he breathed. I didn't want to live, but the last time he breathed, he begged me to keep living my life. I accepted his request, in return for the sins I had committed. I stayed home so I could always remember it. Because when I remember it, it will make me suffer, in such a way I can atone for the sins I have committed" Alex concluded, who immediately fell to his knees before Spring.

Spring was finally no longer able to stem his tears, he was crying while pulling Alex's clothes. "You think that in that way, you can atone for your sins. You are the most unforgivable sinner." Spring cried loudly while tugging at Alex's shirt. "Give her back, Winter, please give her back."

"True, the way I can't atone for the sins I've committed. Therefore, today I will turn myself in to the police." Alex stood up, then walked away from Spring with his eyes closed.

"Lord, please give me a chance to save it once more. If you can't bring me back, then make him come back to life. There are many dreams he has not yet had. It's not fair enough for him, why would he have to lose his life just for saving someone's life."

Crying and begging for hours does not make him repeat the time, which there is a voice even hoarse and his eyes more moist. Even so, Spring still refused to stop crying. He was constantly crying and making his body tired. In the end, Spring was lying limp and unconscious under the tree.

When he opened his eyes, the magic came back to him. The Lord had heard his request, Spring repeated the time.

"Am I dreaming" said Spring in his mind, as reflexes pinched his own hand. After Spring pinched his hand, it felt pain. He also realized, that in nature it is really real.

It's just the time he repeated, when he was about to go see Lucy. But strangely enough, the time should be 09:00 but instead at 08:30.

"What my watch is broken, why it's still at 08:30" said Spring, astonished at the clock in his hand.

"Your hands are not broken, look at the time on my watch as the same as yours" Skylar said.

Spring was spontaneously staring at Skylar's watch, and it is true what his ex-lover said, if the time on his watch is exactly the same as the clock that is coiled on the wrist of his ex-girlfriend.

"I hope there's still time, better turn around and go back to Winter's house."

Skylar sighed, and he stopped his car. "Why do we have to go back, we've reached Lucy's house."

If Spring doesn't see Lucy, she won't be able to repair her relationship with Lucy, and won't even be able to meet Lucy for the next 10 years. The time he took back 30 minutes, there was still time for him to go see Lucy. Spring rushes out of the car, then quickly pulls Lucy into Skylar's car.

"Sky, quickly turn on your car engine, we need to get to Winter as soon as possible" Spring threw out in a panicked look.

"What are you doing. Sky, stop!" lucy said in anger.

Skylar does not respond to Lucy's request, he continues to drive his car even though Lucy is already very angry.

"Sorry, I forced you to come along. Once I've saved Winter, I'll explain everything to you" Spring said.

Lucy sighed harshly. "I'm tired of your explanation. And I'll never want to believe your words again, so it's better to put me down right now before my anger gets even bigger."

Although Lucy keeps pushing to take him down, Spring and Skylar ignore her. Even when his anger had grown, Skylar still drove his car.
