The Angel of Wounds

The Angel of Wounds
Chapter 57

The world is dark for Marissa. A shadow flashes in the night as he does with Rama, but in reality he finds himself with the man he hates most now when he wakes up in the morning. Tom. The man is the source of all these problems.

Marissa sat so restlessly in the front waiting chair of Obgyn's practice room. His fingers were clinging and squeezing each other over his lap. Several times I heard heavy breathing.

"Mother Marissa." A nurse called his name in line.

Marissa moved on and followed the nurse into the practice room. There he was greeted by a veiled female doctor.

"Good night, how can we help you?" The doctor was friendly.

"Night, Doc." Sluggishly.

He's never been this big before. Marissa is a woman who has high self-confidence. And now his confidence evaporates somewhere.

"We get a referral from a general practitioner who has just treated the mother. Are there any complaints?" Continue Doctor.

"Just a little dizzy and nauseous, Doc." Sluggishly.

"When was the last time you menstruated?" Ask the doctor again.

Marissa remembers when she last had her period. And he just realized that last month was the last time he got a monthly guest.

"About two months ago, Doc." Answer doubtful.

"Have you checked for pregnancy before?" Marissa nodded weakly.

"Alright, to be clear, how the mother is, let's do the examination." Doctor Say.

The nurse ordered Marissa to lie down on the bed. Covering part of her body with a blanket.

"I'm sorry, Mom." Say the nurse when revealing a little mini dress that Marissa was wearing.

Sister poured gel over her stomach, making Marissa even more anxious. Moreover, now the doctor has moved the tool on his stomach that began to slippery because of the gel.

"Mrs Marissa can see this. It's her fetal sac, and she's almost ten weeks old now." Marissa stared at the screen of the monitor that showed the results of the examination.

No, there's no way she's pregnant. She didn't want to until she was really pregnant.

"Already, Mom. Please sit down again." Sister's speech disperse Marissa's daydream.

Marissa sat down in front of the doctor. The snelli woman smiled warmly at him.

"Congratulations, Mom. I hope your pregnancy has no future problems. For morning sickness, it is common in the first trimester of pregnancy, and will gradually decrease and even disappear as the pregnancy ages. But the mother must still eat to feed for fetal growth." The doctor was obviously long.

Marissa was just listening, not wanting to say anything.

"Sorry, if you may know, why do you check the contents alone? Where's mom's husband?" Ask the doctor kindly.

"My husband, I'm out of town, Doc." Answer Marissa.

"Alright, I've prescribed vitamins and nausea relievers. My advice, for the next examination I hope that mother can be accompanied by her husband. Because the mother's content is still too risky if used to drive alone." Doctor Say.

"Yes, Doc. Thank you." Thank you."

Marissa was alone and came out of the doctor's room which really made her feel thrown away to the bottom of the dark abyss.

His life feels ruined. She was carrying the seed of a man she did not want to know and meet again.

Marissa sat down and looked again at her USG photo just now. There is a new life in him now. But not with the man she loves.

Tomi just came out of her coworker's room. It just so happened that he was asked to help make up for the drugs in the pharmacy, because his family had not come.

The man had just finished waiting for the medicine and was about to go to the cafeteria first to buy a drink. But his steps stopped when his neutrality caught the figure of a woman who in recent weeks became a burden on his mind.

"Marysa?" Mumbled.

Tomi moves closer to the woman who once loved her so much. But he does not have the guts high enough to just say hello. The woman now hates him. After what happened that night.

Tomi watched Marissa from a distance, as if she was in trouble. Did something happen to him? Or is there a relative being treated?

Before long, the woman left the place she was sitting. Tomi was about to catch up, but her steps stopped when she accidentally read the doctor's office that Marissa had visited.

"Doctor obgyn?" Tomi frowned.

What exactly is it, until Marissa must see a specialist who deals with female problems. Is he sick or...

Fortunately, the practice site was empty. Maybe Marissa was the last patient to visit. Gathering her courage Tomi knocked on the door of the room.

"Yes, Sir. Can we help you?" Ask the nurse who just came out of there.

"E...Can I see a practicing doctor inside?" Tanya Tomi hesitated.

Sister was a little surprised, because the doctor who will be met by men in front of her is a doctor who specializes in dealing with women's problems. Tomi comes alone.

"Sus, what can?" Ask Tomi expectantly.

"Well, just wait a minute." The sister passed, entered the room again.

Shortly after, the nurse opened the door and invited Tomi to come in.

"Please sit down, sir. Can we help you?" Ask the doctor kindly.

"E.sorry before, Doc. Is it true that the doctor accepted the patient on behalf of Marissa Anindita?" Tomi gulped, just to ask that.

"I'm sorry, is it in your interest to ask that?" Ask the doctor without answering Tomi's question first.

"I just want to know, the results of the examination on behalf of Marissa, Doc." Answer Tomi.

"Sorry, we can't give any information about the patient to anyone else." Doctor Say.

"I beg you, Doc. I promise, I won't say anything about the doctor's actions, if I tell him that. I just need to make sure it's okay." Tomi is still trying to seduce the veiled female doctor.

"Sorry sir, we can't." Reject the subtle Doctor.

"I beg you, Doc. It's very important to me. There's a little misunderstanding between us."

The doctor breathed out quickly. A Doctor has a code of ethics that must be adhered to. Keep anything related to the patient confidential to the parties not concerned.

"Sorry, what is your relationship with the patient?" Ask the doctor again.

Tomi is confused as to what to answer. But as far as he knows this doctor handles any problems around women, including pregnancy.

"I. Her husband, Doc." Tomi hesitated to say it.

The doctor in front of him breathed a long breath. Could the doctor have known his lie? Tomi please, no.

"How, Doc? Can you?" Urge Tomi.

The doctor seemed to think for a moment before finally giving an answer.

"alright. Here I was wrong to have violated my code of conduct as a doctor. But, my consideration, is because of Ms. Marissa's condition." The doctor at the end.

"Mrs Marissa is pregnant." Tomi's heart hit again.

Marissa's pregnant? Did he not hear wrong?

"Huh..pregnant?" Ask Tomi to make sure.

"Yes, sir, and the age of the womb is already entering the tenth week." Tomi's heart beats again.

"Ten weeks, Doc?" Deuteronomy.

"Yes, Sir. I noticed it looks like Ms. Marissa is in a state of stress and stress. And such a condition is not good for pregnant women." Obviously Doctor. The woman noticed a confused look on Tomi's face.

"Are you newlyweds?" Tom hesitated.

"How many months is your marriage?"

"Less than a bimonthly, Doc." Answer doubtful. Tomi only estimates when he does it with Marissa.

The doctor smiled at the panic on Tomi's face that was so obvious.

"This is often and very reasonable experienced by newly married couples. Between the age of marriage and the gestational age is approximately one month. Because pregnancy is calculated starting from the first day of the last menstrual period of the future mother. Not from the first day of starting a husband-wife relationship." Tomi is no longer focused on the doctor's explanation.

"Maybe Marissa's mother and father were married when Ms. Marissa was in childbearing years, and did not get monthly guests afterwards. Until your wife is declared pregnant."

Tomi's ears buzzed listening to the doctor's explanation. The focus now is the child in Marissa's womb. Because if from the doctor's speech just now, he can conclude if the fetus that Marissa was born is her child.

Tomi walks gontai nursing the hospital corridor. After hearing the doctor's account of Marissa, the man decided to go home immediately after delivering his friend's medicine.

"Mother Marissa is pregnant, and her gestational age has entered the tenth week."

The sentence again buzzed in his ears. Marissa's pregnant. Marissa's pregnant with her child. Tomi was so sure of that. He remembers when he started with Marissa, because she was the first man to take away her future.

"Gue should be able to speak well with Marissa. Don't let him do anything reckless." Mumbled.

Tomi has not been able to contact Marissa since the incident. His cell phone number is probably blocked. The only way is to ask Siska for help. Siska is Marissa's closest friend.

***

Marissa stayed in her car. His world is now dark. A speck of clear liquid burst out from the corner of his eye.

"Gue can't be pregnant. I'm not pregnant, I don't want to..." Pilu's weeping.

"Gue doesn't want to..." Frustrated scream. Tears have been shedding her beautiful face

"I don't want to get pregnant..." His voice was sobbing with a flailing motion of his stomach.

"Gue doesn't want to...." His voice has been muffled.

"Gue should find a way to le**apin this content." Mumbled.

Marissa brushed away her tears. Drove to a place that might be able to make his mind calm for a moment.

Marissa's car stopped right in front of a nightclub. He wanted to calm down for a moment his chaotic mind. The news and reality he received this time really made his world feel turned upside down.

Marissa improved her appearance before getting out of the car. Slightly apply a slightly faded lipstick, as well as disguise the puffy eyes.

Marissa walked down the dimly lit place. Many young people are spending their time chatting and drinking casually.

Marissa sat at the very end. He needs it himself. Maybe that way his mind can be a little clear later.

A waiter delivered the order he just ordered. A glass of wine and snacks as a complement. Marissa took a sip of a drink in her glass, trying to take her mind off the events she had been going through all day.

"Marysa?" The pat on the shoulder made the woman turn her head.

"Siska?"

Siska and some of the people she was with, maybe her best friend's officemate.

"Lo himself?" Siska scanned the surroundings. Marissa just nodded sluggishly.

"Sorry yes, I went home. Still want to talk to you first." Siska said to her three friends.

"How do you keep going?" Ask one of them.

"Obviously, our house is in the same direction." Answer Siska.

"Okay, let's unplug first."

They left Siska with Marissa. Siska observed the appearance of her best friend. Not as always pretty. A little messy though not too obvious. Siska joins in and sits opposite Marissa.

"Tumben lo alone? I usually don't." Ask Siska.

"For your own sake." Marissa answered without looking at Siska.

Both of them were silent for a long time. Siska opened her voice again.

"A few weeks ago, Tomi called me. He's lo nanyain, I guess_."

"Not to mention that name again in front of me." Cut Marissa fast, which made Siska frown.

"Sorry, Sa, I don't mean to interfere with your business. But it seems like you have another problem, right? We've been friends for a long time, Sa. You can solve your problems just like me." Siska observed the look on the face of the beautiful woman before her, completely chaotic.

"Not even a story, papa. I understand that not all personal things can be shared with others."

Marissa remained silent. It seems Siska was present at an inopportune time for her best friend. Siska was throwing her breath rough. Even the sexy woman did not heed his words.

"If I pull it off, have fun." Siska prepared to stand up and put her bag back on, but her movements stopped due to a check on her wrist.

"Gue needs a storymate." Marissa said without expression. Siska fluttered and frowned her two eyebrows.

"We're looking for a quieter place." Siska just nodded in agreement and followed her best friend from behind.

Siska asks for Marissa's car keys, because it would be very dangerous to let her best friend drive in a mess.

Siska turned the car in the park not far from the club where they had met. And choose a slightly quiet place.

The two women sat next to each other. Marissa, the woman looks agitated. Squeezing the two hands that were clinging to his lap.

"Lo why?" Siska clasped Marissa's hand which felt a little wet with sweat.

"Gue's never seen you like this before. Lo looks really fucked up, Sa." Said that shoulder-haired woman.

Marissa breathed deeply into the air to fill her empty lungs. Then he opened his voice.

"Gue's pregnant." He said, but the sentence was clearly heard in Siska's ear.

The woman turned her eyes perfect. There is no way he could have misheard. Marissa's pregnant?.
