The clock pointed to the number eight. Warm sunlight feels sweeping the surface of the skin. The atmosphere in the hospital garden is not too crowded, there are only a few patients who deliberately warm their bodies in the morning sun.
"Sus, what before the nurse came to my room, the nurse met my husband?" Ask Marissa.
"Looks not. Do you need anything?" Ask nurse. Marissa nodded slowly.
Since yesterday morning's chat, Marissa no longer found Tomi back in her room. Marissa realized that what she said yesterday sounded a little painful. But he also tried to be honest with how he felt. At least it could make him feel relieved. Let go of the things that had been a burden on his mind. Her love for Rama, her pregnancy outside of the marriage bond, is also her complicated relationship with Tomi, the biological father of the child in her womb.
Marissa threw her gaze in any direction. He accidentally saw a husband and wife not far from his place, who did activities like himself. Bask under the warm morning sun. The husband with a perfectly fluffy smile gently rubbed his wife's enlarged stomach. Sometimes the man rubbed his woman's back. One kiss landed on the woman's forehead. It looks so sweet.
Unconsciously, his outstretched hand rubbed his enlarged stomach. Two more months she would give birth, but never once did she get a similar swipe from Tomi.
"Sa."
Marissa turned her head and found Siska standing next to the nurse who was accompanying her.
"Siska?" Marissa frowned in wonder, because her best friend came at a clock like this.
"Gue search the room, empty. Uh it turns out you're here." Siska.
"Thankfully, there was a room janitor who knew where you were. If you don't, you can go to the hospital, I." She said, sitting right next to Marissa's wheelchair.
"Lo not working?"
"No, I'm free today. Red date. Long time no longer working? Never knew there was a red date." Kekeh Siska's. Marissa gave a small smile hearing Siska's words.
"Oh yeah, where's Tomi?" Siska asked, because she did not find Tomi there. Marissa nodded slowly.
"Sus, let Marissa be with me." Siska. The nurse left the two women in the park.
"The outrage of your man, I chat, I call you since yesterday afternoon can not-can. Very difficult. It's hard to signal Tomi." Gerrutu Siska's.
Marissa frowned in surprise, not usually Tomi ignored calls from those closest to her. Where exactly is that man?
"He's home?" Marissa shakes.
"Gue don't know." Lirih Marissa's.
"Do you not know?" Siska frowned.
"Tomi left since yesterday morning."
"Go? Where's where?" Marissa nodded back.
Siska felt something strange. It's impossible for Tomi to leave Marissa. Especially in a big pregnancy like this. Siska knows how Tomi is. The man was willing to leave and go home from work directly from the hospital which was further from the office where he worked. Even the man willingly pleads and fights for the freedom of Marissa, the woman who never expected herself.
Siska took her phone and dialed Tomi's number. Went on, but not lifted. Siska contacted the man once more, but her phone is off now. Siska wastes her breath rough.
"Hape is dead." Marissa looked at Siska who was holding her phone.
"Looks like he's mad." Lirih Marissa's.
"Anged?" Marissa nodded.
"Why?"
Marissa told Siska yesterday morning. The pigtailed woman rubbed her face with both hands hearing Marissa's words.
"Since yesterday morning, he's not back in my room." Marissa said with eyes that began to dew.
"Lo is stupid or what the hell, Sa? Do you realize that your words can hurt Tomi's feelings?" Siska said a little annoyed.
"Lo why the hell, can't see a little bit of her kindness? How many times did you hurt him with that pedes lo speech, but he still persisted on your side. I'm pretty sure if you hadn't gotten pregnant with her child, she wouldn't have held up a girl like you." Siska's grumbling.
"Any woman must be happy if she gets a man who can accept all her shortcomings, not because of their advantages. And Tomi, I can admit it's the same lo." Say Siska with stifled emotions.
"And again, you say that the one who deserves to be the father of this child is Rama? Think dong, Sa." Siska even pointed to her own head.
"Lo has taken pride in himself as a man. Especially as a husband and father-to-be."
"Maybe now you feel the upper hand, because the child in the womb lo, which makes Tomi not warty. He still stays by your side, even though he's been repeatedly sick. He remained silent over all your treatment, but if he were to give up, you would know how painful it is to be left by someone who sincerely accepts you for who you are." A single tear fell as Marissa blinked her eyes. Why did listening to Siska's words this time make the corner of her heart throb pain?

Siska pushed Marissa's wheelchair into the room. No matter how upset Siska was with Marissa, she would definitely not bear the condition of her best friend. It's not that stupid that he made an unhealthy friendship with Marissa. But he chose to stay because of his affection for Marissa, to want to make the woman change.
"Is there anything you need?" Siska asked after helping Marissa get on her bed.
Marissa did not answer, only the head she gave.
"It's better to rest. I'll go back first." Siska.
Without waiting for a response, Siska immediately turned towards the door.
"Sis." Siska stopped her hand from opening the door.
"Yes?" Siska looked straight at the woman on the bed.
"Thank you, yeah." Marissa. Siska frowned.
"Make?"
"Make it all." Siska commented a thin smile.
"No need to thank you. Enough to see what has happened. Don't let you regret it later." Marissa pulled a slight corner of her lips hearing Siska's words. Then a small nod.
"Gue said goodbye, yeah." Marissa nodded back.
"Be careful."
Marissa's outpatient room door was again sealed shut. Now he himself occupies the white room. Her net scanned the surroundings, staring at the usual place occupied by Tomi. Tomi, where is that guy? Even last night he didn't go back to Marissa's room.
Marissa breathed a heavy breath. Usually at this kind of hour, Tomi always offers her something. Although Marissa often ignored him.
Cclek
Marissa's attention was diverted towards the door that was opened from the outside. Disappointed when he found out who was coming. An officer who used to deliver patient food, came to take his tableware back.
"Good morning, Miss Marissa." The officer was friendly.
"Morning."
"Away alone, Mom?" Ask the Officer.
"Yes." Yeah." Sluggishly.
The officer immediately retrieved the food box belonging to Marissa which was above the nightstand.
"Mrs Marissa hasn't eaten yet?" The officer asked as he felt Marissa's food box was still heavy. Means the food in it is still a lot, or even still intact.
"It."
The female attendant opened the lid of Marissa's food box, and sure enough, there was still plenty of food inside. It may only be eaten about two spoons.
"Mrs Marissa? Mommy hasn't eaten yet? There's still plenty of food, ma'am." Said the officer while glancing at the wall clock in Marissa's room.
"It's almost lunchtime. But mom's breakfast is still this much. Did you take any medication?"
Marissa glanced at the medicine she used to drink on the nightstand. Still intact for this morning. Tom usually prepares it. Tomi, again that name comes to Marissa's mind.
"However Ms. Marissa must eat. Poor baby." Marissa fell silent, not wanting to answer the female officer.
"It looks like mom wants to eat if she's with her husband as usual. Adek wants to be bribed as his Papa might." Tempt the attendant with a fluffy smile.
Is that really true? Usually he eats is always watched by Tomi. Did his appetite decrease, because he ate his breakfast alone this morning?
