The Angel of Wounds

The Angel of Wounds
Chapter 161

Either this was a coincidence or an answer that even her question could only afford Hasna kept in her mind. Or even it was time he learned of the matter that Rama had kept secret from him for almost seven months.

"Alright, I'll be at Marissa's trial tomorrow the day after tomorrow. Please just send me the schedule." Two sentences that fairly represent his curiosity about the fate of Marissa after the accident.

Hasna got closer and tried to make sure that her hearing was not wrong.

"Alright, Mr. Darma, just make sure so_"

"Mass?" Call Hasna.

Rama looked back before continuing his words. How surprised to find his wife standing right behind him.

"ee...Mr. Darma, I'll call you back later." Rama disconnects his phone and smiles at his wife.

"Vitamins, already?" Rama asked with a smile on his lips.

"Marissa's trial is tomorrow. What does that mean, Mas?" Even Hasna had no intention of answering the question Rama asked.

Rama took a deep breath hearing Hasna's words. Apparently his wife was listening to his conversation with Mr. Darmawan. The man returned a smile, trying to remain calm in front of his wife.

"We'd better go home." Rama tried to shift his wife's focus.

"Take my breath, Mas. What does Marissa's trial mean?" Hasna suppressed all her words, as if demanding an answer from Rama.

Rama saw a plastic bag containing a vitamin bottle near Hasna's feet. It must have belonged to his wife who accidentally fell when the woman listened to him over the phone. Rama took it.

"We'd better get home, you need a break." Rama rubbed Hasna's cheek gently. But the owner of those shady eyes did not take his eyes off.

"Mas, answer me." Hasna's voice was full of emphasis with a stifled voice.

Rama threw his gaze in any direction. It seemed Hasna would not be able to be switched her mind.

"We'd better talk about this at home." Rama said as gently as possible. I hope he can control himself too.

Hasna resigned when Rama took his hand. He should also hold back, especially in public places like this. Rama's right, they better talk about this at home.

All the way home from the hospital, not a word Hasna said. Even when Rama offers something he may have wanted as before, he remains silent. The woman shook her head and focused on the street she saw from the window beside her. Until the car entered the yard of the house, he remained silent.

Rama took a rough breath as Hasna got out of the car without waiting for her to open the door as usual. His wife was really angry this time.

"Assalamu'alaikum." Say Hasna when you enter the house. The woman walked faster than usual, and passed into the room.

"Wa'alaikumussalam." Lirih Mbak Marni's.

The housekeeper was astonished by the unusual arrival of Hasna and Rama. Hasna even went into the room first, and shut the door tightly. Then the expression that Rama showed was not as usual, when they came home from the street together.

"Sir, please give the vitamins to Hasna, yes. I have a job." Rama handed over a plastic bag containing vitamins belonging to his wife to Mbak Marni.

"Good, Mas."

Mbak Marni's views followed Rama's steps. Apparently the man went straight upstairs to his study. Mbak Marni shook her head, trying to expel her negative thoughts on the two employers.

Tok...

"Sir, lunch is ready." Marni said from behind Hasna's bedroom door. Even this was the second time the housekeeper had called Hasna.

"Do you want Marni to go inside?" There is still no lawfulness.

Marni appeared silent in front of the room door, but a few seconds later the door was open. Hasna was still wearing a mukena, apparently the woman had just performed the dhuhur prayer. It should be called many times not to say, it makes Mbak Marni again think no-no.

"Lunch is ready, Mother." Mba Marni.

"Yes, Mom, just a second. I'll finish up first." Marni is ready to go back.

Marni turned back to face Hasna, and shook her head.

"Yet, Ma'am. Since returning home from the hospital, Mas Rama still has his study." Answer Ma'am Marni.

"Yes, I changed first." Say Hasna and go back into her room.

Hasna with slow and careful steps up the stairs. Try to maintain balance as he walks. With breath still panting, he stood right in front of Rama's study.

Cclek

Hasna opened the door and pushed it slowly. The desk was empty, and it still looked neat. Marni said her husband finished his job. But now, the room is empty.

Hasna was about to close the door she just opened. But the netranya accidentally saw Rama who was sleeping on the sofa near the door.

"Mas." Hasna gently rubbed her husband's black mane. I wish the man would wake up.

"Mas, let's get up. It's lunch time." Now Hasna turned to shake the husband's arm, so that Rama immediately woke up.

"Dangh..." Rama was just moaning and squirming.

"Mas Rama." Hasna shook Rama's arm a little harder than the previous one, and succeeded. The man also opened his eyes.

"Darling?" Rama squinted his two neutrals, adjusting the light.

"It's lunch time." Hasna. Rama sat down and faced his wife.

"Why are you going upstairs?" Rama asked, because since the accident, Rama never allowed Hasna to go up and down the stairs. Especially after the content gets bigger.

"Why is that?" Hasna asked him a question. And start a little sensi.

"So, is there something I accidentally heard again?" Saying Hasna a little sniffy. This woman's mood was completely unstable after coming home from the hospital. But that is not the problem that Rama meant.

"Not so, I'm just worried if you go up and down stairs with this big belly, honey." Rama said as gently as possible. Do not let him choose the wrong word, to make Hasna's mind more cloudy.

"I thought there was another secret that Mas Rama hid from me. Besides about Ms. Marissa." Now his wife's words sound like an insinuation. Rama just exhaled slowly, and pulled both corners of his lips.

"Yes, let's go down. Nor has he prayed about it." Rama said with a smile. Hasna simply nodded in response.

The two went down the stairs on their own, without Rama helping Hasna. Rama only guarded him from behind, because he did not dare to do something when Hasna was sulking like now. Later even make the mood of his wife destroyed and make the atmosphere more uncontrollable.

At the dinner table Hasna continued to serve the needs of Rama as usual, but her mouth was tightly locked. As if he did not want to talk about something with Rama.

Silent. Not a word came out of the mouths of the two, until lunch was over.

"Mr?" Call Rama to Marni.

"Yes, Mas?" Sahut Mbak Marni from the kitchen.

"Where's the vitamin?"

"In the meantime, I'll get it." Mba Marni.

Marni came back with a bottle of vitamin that Rama gave her earlier.

"Here, Mas." Marni drops Hasna's vitamin bottle on Rama.

"Thank you, Ma'am." Rama. Marni immediately went back to the back.

"Vitamins, honey." Rama gave one vitamin tablet to Hasna.

Hasna took vitamins from Rama's hands and drank them. Rama noticed the wife who was still sulking. During the marriage, Hasna had been acting this way. It is also affected by pregnancy hormones. Hasna's mood was really up and down, and required Rama to be extra patient.
