The Angel of Wounds

The Angel of Wounds
Chapter 1

The atmosphere at the catering site of the Blessing Kitchen was quite busy this morning. It just so happened that there was a catering order of five hundred rice boxes for a charity event.

Hasna, a twenty-three-year-old girl who became the owner of the catering business. The family business that he managed to run again and pursued during his college education was quite calculated.

Evidently with two branches that have been successfully opened. Likewise, many customers entrust their events to the catering business they manage. Not only provides a menu in the form of rice with other complete packages. Cake and pastry too.

"Sir, please check again well before sending to the customer." Pinta Hasna on one of her employees.

"Ready man Hasna."

Hasna went back to checking all the orders that will be sent this afternoon. Because the event will be held in the afternoon.

"Sir, for what cake will be delivered simultaneously?" Ask one of Hasna's officers.

"No. Later the cake will be sent after we send the rice box. I'll check the order first." Answer Hasna.

"Good mbak"

That's how Hasna is, even though she is a business owner, but she never hands off when dealing with her customers. Because according to him, customer satisfaction is number one.

That is why, even though the business he has been pursuing only about three years, it can be juxtaposed with senior culinary efforts.

The woman immediately stepped out of her catering building. He immediately headed to his cake and pastry shop next to the catering building.

Actually his catering place is two-story. The cake and pastry shop is on the second floor. But because his business is growing very rapidly, he finally rented a shop next to his catering business. Initially only rented, but last year this shop was successfully owned and renovated into a shop and cafe on the second floor.

Drrr...

The phone he held sounded. A call from grandfather, the only family who took care of him after the death of both parents.

"Hello, assalamu'alaikum cake?" hasna said when the call was connected.

"Wa'alaikumussalam, son. You busy?." Grandpa's voice was heard from across the street.

"Lumayan si kek, check the order that will be sent later in the day. What's up?"

"Where are you ready?" Hasna asked from lip movements on her store show, because the phone connection was still connected.

"Beres" replied Nadia, her confidant.

"Night, can you come home soon, son?" Ask grandpa.

"God could cake. Hasna just checks the order. Later after delivery, Hasna want to check the bookkeeping and catering store. After that Hasna went straight home."

"Alright, grandfather wait for grandfather's favorite grandson to come home. Be careful, son."

"Yes cake. Oh yeah, what do you want to bring grandfather later?"

"No need son, just smile little grandpa's girl."

"Alright cake, wait for Hasna to come home." chuckle Hasna. "Assalamu'alaikum grandfather."

"Wa'alaikumussalam, dear." The connection was also cut.

After confirming all customer orders, Hasna immediately completed her work checking financial statements.

"Assalamu'alaikum, cake." Hasna kissed grandfather's hand after saying hello.

"Wa'alaikumussalam, come sit down son." Grandfather patted the right side of the place where he was sitting for Hasna to sit on.

Not immediately answering, instead grandfather let out a long breath. Hasna also held the talapak of grandfather's hand.

"Grandfather, what's wrong?" Hasna repeated the question again.

"Say the cake."

"Hasna, forgive grandpa. Maybe what you're going to say, could hurt you accidentally" replied Grandpa

Not immediately answering the words of the grandfather, precisely Hasna staring straight bead eyes full of love.

"First, your father's Word went bankrupt in his business with your mother. The business they started almost went out of business. If there's no generosity from Mr. Andi, maybe your father's business is completely bankrupt, and this catering business won't be able to survive until now." Grandfather paused his words and looked straight at the bead of his beloved grandson.

Hasna was still faithfully waiting for Grandpa's next speech, with no desire to interrupt at all.

"Hasna, last week Mr. Andi's family called grandfather. He wants to ask for valuable things that grandfather has been guarding. Long ago when your father was alive, your father would return the capital loaned by Mr. Andi. Andi refused, and embraced your father like his own family. And when he asked for something very valuable that our family had, grandfather could not resist. But grandfather can't decide for himself." said grandfather.

"If ever so sure will give it to them, and grandfather is able. Give me the cake. Grandfather don't have to think about how we're gonna get him back. Treasures can be sought, but the debt of gratitude can never be replaced, even with the same nominal." Hasna was so wise.

"But son, it doesn't matter what nominal we have to change to him." Grandfather's words sounded still floating.

"Then?"

"The family of Mr. Andi asked grandfather to marry the daughter of the deceased son of kekek, namely you, with his son" said the grandfather carefully.

At once Hasna's hand reached out. He was very surprised by what his grandfather said. I don't know how he handled the problem at hand. Everything happens suddenly.

"Son, Grandpa knows how you feel now. Grandfather will not decide unilaterally. Either way you will live it. Marriage is the longest service that will last a lifetime. The good bad household depends on how you and your partner live it. You don't have to answer now, son. Think carefully. Ask God for guidance. I hope the best answer you get." Grandfather said as he gently rubbed the tops of his granddaughter's heads.

"Now rest, my son." Grandpa left Hasna alone in the middle room to go to his room.

Hasna inhaled a breath full of chest to neutralize the atmosphere raging within her chest. I never thought she would get married so soon. There are still many dreams that he wants to achieve. He wanted to be a grandchild that someone who had raised him dearly could be proud of.

"Son, don't you have breakfast?" Grandpa asked when he saw Hasna carrying a bag and snatching her car keys.

"No cake, Hasna hurry. Hasna wants to check the preparation for the opening of the cake restaurant." Hasna Just sipped a glass of warm milk on the dining table.

"So it's unveiled next month?" Ask grandpa while bribing his breakfast.

"Two weeks cake. It's the moon." Hasna answered.

"Yeah, grandpa almost forgot it's the middle of the month." Grandpa chuckled

"Yes, be careful on the road. Don't forget to eat on time, dear."

"Yes grandpa. Hasna go first. Assalamu'alaikum." Hasna said goodbye while kissing grandpa's hand.

"Wa'alaikumussalam." Grandfather replied while kissing the head of his beloved grandson.

Hasna's car passed leaving the yard of the house to the place where it would be used as a restaurant. Yes, Hasna's catering business began to spread its wings to the restaurant business.

Hasna has a hobby of cooking. Since she was a child, Hasna has often helped her mother in catering kitchens to prepare orders for customers. And this is one of the reasons Hasna maintains her family business. Initially only a home catering business, it became a large catering business with two branches along with two cake and pastry shops. And now he's about to start a restaurant business.

After the departure of her parents, Hasna grew up to be an independent girl. Even the cost of his education did not depend on the grandfather's treasure.

He was able to finance his education to completion from his own sweat, also from the student duties he earned.
