The Angel of Wounds

The Angel of Wounds
Chapter 27

For several days, Hasna was seen avoiding Rama. Not that the man didn't realize it, just that he thought it would be better this way. Hasna kept her distance.

As in previous days, Hasna continued to serve the needs of Rama at the dinner table. The smile never faded at either corner of his lips. But the smile was not like the smile that became the hallmark of the woman.

"Ehemmm.for the past few days, I've had work out of town. You'd better go to Mama's house, so that someone accompanies." Rama said in the middle of their breakfast.

"No need to worry about me, I'm used to myself." Answer Hasna.

Rama did not continue the conversation, for fifteen more minutes, Ivan would be there to pick him up.

Finished breakfast, Rama first took the goods as well as the documents he would carry.

There was a bell from outside. Looks like there's a guest, but who's visiting early in the morning like this. Gegas Hasna opened the door, apparently Ivan.

"Good morning, Miss Hasna." Greet Ivan with a friendly smile.

"Assalamu'alaikum, good morning, Mr. Ivan." Hasna.

"Wa, wa'alaikumussalam." Ivan replied with an awkward smile.

Ivan watched the appearance of the woman before him, it was neat this early, like he was about to leave.

"Ehemmmm... Hasna's mom going?" Ivan asked breaking the silence.

"Yes, Mr. Ivan. I'm going to work." Answer's friendly.

Ivan frowned, at this early hour Hasna was about to leave for work. It's only six o'clock past fifteen minutes. It might be that his workplace is far away, Ivan thought.

A small conversation took place between the two. Sometimes Ivan's laughter was heard, and there was a smile that did not subside from the lips of the beautiful woman.

The two did not realize that Rama was not far behind Hasna, carrying a small suitcase and a file in his hand.

The man noticed Hasna's cheerful face. Even the smile that adorned his face was so different from the one he had shown the past few days. The laughter and smiles seemed light without any burden.

"Ivan, let's get going. Don't let us get stuck in traffic."

Rama approached them, stopping right between Ivan and his wife. For a moment he glanced at Hasna, it seemed that the woman's smile was slowly shrinking.

"I go, take care of yourself." Rama also left both.

Hasna was a little surprised to hear that. During their marriage, only this time she heard her husband say goodbye.

"Ivan, it's too late. Don't waste time." Rama slightly raised his voice, as he was already near the car.

"Well, Miss Hasna, we'll go first." Pamit Ivan is polite.

"Be careful, Mr. Ivan. Assalamu'alaikum"

"Wa'alaikumussalam."

Ivan immediately passed entering the car, smilingly looking towards Hasna who was still standing in the doorway. Not a strange sight indeed, because almost every morning the woman always did it while driving Rama to work. Even if he just followed his steps from behind.

But now, a man smiled at his wife. There was a bit of a strange feeling in the corner of his heart.

"Don't admire women too much, you might get hurt."

"Mbak Hasna is to be admired, sir. From the beginning, it seemed like Hasna wasn't the kind of woman who hurt feelings." His assistant.

"Don't know you." Tuke Rama.

"But that doesn't mean all women like to play with feelings, sir." Reject Ivan again.

Ivan did not agree with the assessment of Rama who seemed too subjective. Regardless of the past in nature, really it is not a wise judgment according to Ivan.

Ivan drives away from Rama's residence, to where they hold a work meeting with their business partners.

Rama reached into the cell phone in his shirt pocket, contacting his mother.

"Hello, Ma. Rama wants to help Mama."

"Solicit what please?" Voice from across the phone.

"The family had a business meeting with some associates outside the city. Maybe three to four days. If you don't mind, please persuade Hasna to stay while at home."

"Why don't you persuade Hasna yourself?" Strange as well, Hasna is his wife, why should his mother persuade.

"Well, Mama's gonna call."

"Thank you, Ma."

Ivan was silent to the words his superior had said. Sounds a bit strange in his ears. Pak Andi's distant relatives why choose to live in Rama's private house, while the Suryanata family's house is still quite spacious. Especially hearing if Rama is worried about Hasna. It seems there is something between them.

But it seems Ivan does not want to bother with this problem. He focused on driving the car he was driving.

Hasna returned to the house after Rama and Ivan's car disappeared behind the gate. The woman resumed her activities of cleaning up the leftovers at the dinner table. And then to the restaurant.

Just finished washing the old breakfast dishes, the phone on the dining table rang. Soon he grabbed the flat object and saw who made the call on his phone.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Ma."

"Wa'alaikumussalam, baby. Where are you now?"

"Still at home, why, Ma?"

"Barusan Rama called Mama, he said he was out of town for a few days. He said you better come back here for a while. She's worried about you."

Worry, is it really like that? Too much seems. Recalling the words of Rama some time ago who called himself a distant relative. It seemed impossible if the man was worried about him.

"Hasna, are you still there, baby?" Miss Diana made sure that her daughter-in-law was still listening to her words just now.

"Yes, Ma. Hasna will return home to Mama's house after the restaurant. Hasna is now ready to go." Looks like Hasna can't refuse her in-laws' request.

"Alright, be careful on the road, baby. Assalamu'alaikum."

"Yes, Ma. Wa'alaikumussalam."

Hasna returned to her room to pick up some clothes she would bring while staying at her in-laws' house later. After that, he went to the restaurant.

Hasna drove the car at medium speed, when passing in front of her cake and pastry shop, suddenly she wanted to turn. Not thinking long, immediately he turned the car towards his store.

The store still looks quiet, there are only a few employees passing by, because the store has just opened.

"Assalamu'alaikum." Hasna said as she entered the store.

"Wa'alaikumussalam." Answer them.

"Mbak Hasna, really bad. It's rare to nengokin shop." A female officer approached Hasna.

"Alhamdulilah, can nengokin mbak Nadia and friends today. How safe, right?"

"So under control, ma'am." The female officer called Nadia.

"Oh yes Nadia, Hasna would like to ask for help prepared red Velvet, croissant same puff pastry. Later in the afternoon I take about four o'clock."

"Ready, mbak Hasna."

For a moment Hasna checked the kitchen as well as the storage of materials, it turns out the stock is still safe. Then he immediately went to his restaurant.

Hasna checked several financial statements of her business outlet, examining them carefully one by one. It didn't feel like it was time for lunch.

For a moment it stretches the joints, in order to relax the body. Really working like this, a little bit can take his mind off his household problems.

His stomach was starting to feel hungry, it seemed like foraging outside was not a bad idea. He always ordered food in the kitchen. Looking for a new atmosphere will probably add a little to his mood.

Hasna decided to go to an Italian restaurant not far from hers. Fifteen minutes have arrived at the restaurant. The restaurant is very crowded with visitors. Hasna rolled her eyes looking for an empty table. Then I ordered pasta and drinks.

Hasna enjoyed the dishes in front of her while occasionally checking her phone which went off several times.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Hasna."

A familiar voice greeted his hearing. Instantly his gaze was shifted to the figure standing right in front of him at this moment. A second later a smile rose at both corners of his lips.
