The Angel of Wounds

The Angel of Wounds
Chapter 22

Rama watched Hasna walking towards the gate from the balcony of her room. Shortly after, a white car came and stopped right in front of Hasna. The car drove back after Hasna boarded and sat in the passenger seat.

The man stays in his position. Suddenly his mind turned on the incident this morning. Where he saw his wife so different from the previous one.

That woman looks so charming. Rama's eyes were completely centered on him. He clearly remembered how his wife looked at the time.

Hasna who used to cover her entire body, looks many times more dazzling just by looking like that. Even when he was with Resty first, often his girlfriend was dressed sexy. But somehow Hasna looked much more seductive just by dressing so modestly. Even without makeup.

His heart started to rustle. I don't know what vibe is running through his heart right now. Just imagining it made his heart beat twice as fast.

Quickly he took that thought. Hasna looked dazzling just because she undressed her identity, nothing more.

Hasna arrived at the restaurant just at lunchtime. Immediately he headed to his room after having a stale conversation with his employees first.

It can be ascertained if the pile of maps will decorate his workbench. He asked for financial statements to be sent directly to the restaurant. He'll check it out one by one, after his long "leave" a week ago.

But his steps came to a halt when someone called his name.

"Hasna's."

The beige veiled woman turned her head towards the source of the voice.

"Mas Kevin?"

Kevin smiled and walked over to Hasna.

"It's a coincidence to meet you here." Kevin said in stale.

Because unbeknownst to Hasna, she had lunch in this restaurant several times. Hoping to meet the restaurant owner, but the goal was never achieved, maybe this was luck for the man.

"Mas Kevin there needs to be Hasna?" Ask the girl.

Hasna felt a little bad if there was an urgent need, considering her phone was turned off this week. And now his phone is left in the room.

"Ah no. It's just a coincidence when I came to see you." Answer the young man.

Hasna slightly forced a smile upon hearing the answer given by Kevin. It was as if the man was looking for him. Because you can be sure to meet him if you visit a restaurant. Given he had decided to monitor all his business outlets from the restaurant. Moreover, the workspace that is here is wider and more comfortable.

Kevin felt a little disappointed that Hasna did not accompany him to lunch this time. The woman said she would finish her job, and Kevin had no reason to hold her back. But at least it has treated his longing for the woman.

Hasna returned ahead of Maghrib, having taken her car first at the late grandfather's house.

Rama, who was relaxing on the balcony of his room, momentarily noticed the red car entering his yard. The man was curious as to who had come to his house at this time. Given only him, Hasna, also Ivan who knows if he lives here now.

Rama rushed down, wanting to be sure who was coming. A little curtain covered the window of his living room.

Look at that car. Before long, the beige veiled woman came out from inside. Who else if not Hasna, his wife.

Rama immediately left the living room for the kitchen, before Hasna entered the house.

A few minutes later, Hasna emerged from behind the door. The woman smiled when she found her husband in the kitchen, which was not far from her room.

Hasna stepped closer towards Rama who was sitting in the pantry. The man only saw it at a glance.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Mas." Hasna.

"Wa'alaikum salutations." Rama answered without looking at his wife.

Hasna put the bag on the dining table, and walked over to her husband.

"You want Hasna to get something? Or Rama's gonna eat?" Tawar Hasna's.

Rama was silent for a moment, not answering his wife. Hasna remained in her position, standing near the man. And that, made Rama a little uncomfortable.

"Please make me coffee, and don't be too sweet." Rama said in the end.

A single smile rose on both corners of Hasna's lips, what a smile that made her even more beautiful. And it did not escape the sight of Rama.

Hasna placed a cup of coffee that was still smoking in front of her husband. It was very tempting smell Rama.

Once again, Hasna displayed a smile as her husband enjoyed his homemade coffee. To be honest, the woman wanted to occasionally hear compliments or even comments on what she presented to her husband. But never once did those words come out of the husband's mouth.

"Mama asked us to have dinner there. Get ready soon, we'll be gone in half an hour." Rama said to his wife.

"Alright, then Hasna will prepare. Hasna said goodbye to the room first."

The woman went to her room. It's funny, when they are married and live in one house, they occupy different rooms.

An hour of their journey in silence, always like that. Hasna chose silence, because the woman was confused if she would start a conversation with her husband. While Rama prefers to focus on the roads they go through.

The streets are pretty crowded tonight, and a little jammed. The red light is still on.

"Ehem..."

Deheman Rama shifted a little Hasna's focus looking towards the window beside him. It seems like something will be conveyed by her husband.

It looks like the man took something from the back seat. A purple paperbag, and handed it to Hasna.

"Let's give this to Nayla." Rama broke the silence between them.

"There are two more paperbags, for mom and dad." Further.

Hasna simply nodded and glanced at the passenger seat. There were two parcels reserved for her two in-laws. That's so sweet.

Hasna quietly did not respond, so it did not feel the car had entered the yard of the Suryanata family home. The sound of the horn made Miss Diana immediately stand up to greet her son and daughter-in-law on the front porch.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Ma."

"Wa'alaikum greetings, dear."

Hasna immediately kissed her in-laws hand, and was greeted with a warm embrace of the middle-aged woman. Likewise with Rama, doing the same thing with his wife.

"Bas with bad boys, a week into Japan, why don't you tell Mama?." Miss Diana said as she patted her son's back.

Hasna and Rama looked at each other, neither answered.

"Emmm...Ma, Nayla's in?" Hasna tried to divert her in-laws' questions with other questions.

"Yes, baby, come on in."

The three went straight to the dining room, because Mr. Andi and Nayla were waiting there. Hasna and Rama also greet Pak Andi.

"Mbak Hasna, Nay kangen." Said Nayla who immediately hugged her sister-in-law. So, this girl.

"Yes Hasna misses everything here."

"Ah mbak Hasna lied, proof Nay phone, chat, not active his hape." Nayla Protests.

Hasna did not prepare this answer. But his mind began to focus as he realized that there were still parcels in his hand.

"Oh yeah, this is a little souvenir for you, I hope you like it." Hasna thrust a purple paperbag in front of her sister-in-law.

"A.mbak Hasna.... Thanks for bothering to buy it." Said the girl in such a spoiled tone.

Hasna just smiled hearing that. Then hand over the two paperbags to Miss Diana.

"May you both like me."

"Thank you, baby" said Miss Diana.

"Together, Ma."

"Udah come on, let's start the dinner. Papa is hungry." Canda Pak Andi's.

Hasna and Rama immediately positioned themselves to immediately join the Suryanata family dinner.
