The Angel of Wounds

The Angel of Wounds
Chapter 47

Hasna felt comfort while in Rama's arms. Hasna could clearly hear the heartbeat of the man who was holding it. Perhaps the same gurgle was heard from him.

Hesitating Hasna reached out to hold Rama's body. Comfortable, that's what Hasna felt. Rama smiled at his wife's reaction. It turns out that she was embarrassed to be near him.

A few moments both of them were silent. Enjoy their moment of closeness for the first time. More intimate than ever.

"Can I ask you something?"

Hasna raised her head slightly to look at the husband's face.

"I've been very curious for a long time, so I want to ask you this question." Rama looked into the shady eyes of the woman in his arms.

"What?" Lirih Hasna's. What would Rama ask. Why did he suddenly feel uneasy.

"Is every sleep you always wear a veil? Don't you feel hot? But as I recall you once let go of her while staying at Mama's house."

So that's the problem, Hasna thinks what. The woman did not answer, but Hasna put her arms back together.

"Sorry, I'm not used to it yet." Answer slowly.

"Not used to it, why?" Rama was curious.

"I've never opened a veil before anyone but a fellow woman. So I'm not used to opening the veil in front of Mas Rama." I'm timid.

"So, back at Mama's, that was the first time you had your veil open in front of me?" Guess Rama.

"That's because I didn't know that Mas Rama was coming home." Hasna poked her lips.

"Ah, I forgot. You've also opened your veil before, when I just got home from Japan." Rama remembered it, remembering when his wife was cooking in the kitchen, and ended up holding back his hunger until his wife came out of his room.

"That's also I don't know, if Mas Rama came home sooner." Denying again.

"Ahhh.if you remember it, it makes me so upset." Grouser Rama.

"Why?" Hasna lifted her face.

"Because I'm holding back hunger, because you're not coming out of the room." Rajuk Rama's.

Hasna's shoulders were shaken, it seemed like his wife was laughing.

"Are you laughing?" Ask Rama.

"That's because I'm so embarrassed. I was ashamed to meet Mas Rama, after Mas Rama caught me without a hood in the kitchen." I'm Hasna. Then the woman laughed.

"Means I dong the first man to see you without a head covering?" Ask Rama. Hasna shook her head slowly, leaving Rama disappointed.

"No, not Rama."

"Then?" Suddenly Rama was upset.

"The late father and also Grandpa. They're the first men to see me without a veil." Answer Hasna.

Rama feels guilty here. The man Hasna mentioned was the man who gave his wife an abundance of love. They're all gone. Even at the end of his grandfather's life, he left the full responsibility of his granddaughter to him. And himself?

"Sorry." Lirih Rama's.

"It's okay." Hasna again tightened her embrace.

Both were silent for a moment. Only his second heartbeat was heard.

"Emmm. means when at home Mama, at that time you even wear a nightgown that_."

Hasna smothered Rama's mouth so as not to continue his words. He still remembered clearly, and the incident embarrassed him to death.

"Udah, don't be kicked, I'm ashamed." Apparently the woman started to sulk.

Rama smiled at his wife's confession. He feels like a special husband now. How not, only was he the first man to see his wife's black mane, in addition to his mahram. He was also the first man to touch his wife.

"Aren't you smiling? Rama is bad, huh?" He's sulking again.

"No, I'm so glad to hear it. That means I was the first man to see beauty in a woman as beautiful as you."

A smile spread across Hasna's face. Her husband praises her as beautiful? Make her cheeks warm up instantly.

"If I had asked you to take off your veil in front of me, would you?" Ask Rama.

"And that's not a shari'a violation, is it?" Before there was a rejection from his wife.

Feeling a soft slack in his arms. Rama smiled, and waited for Hasna's next reaction.

But after a few minutes, there was no movement from his wife.

"Ehem..so, how?" Rama is still waiting.

"What?"

Apparently his wife pretended not to understand his request, making Rama snort annoyed.

But slowly Hasna broke down her husband's embrace and positioned herself to sit down. Rama followed his wife's movements, and sat down beside Hasna.

The woman fell silent and lowered her head. Rama knew his wife was waiting for a reaction from him.

Rama's left hand stretched out and pulled the knot in the veil that his wife was wearing. Slowly he opened the cloth covering his wife's head. It also draws Hasna's hair ties. A beautiful mane was also scattered through the back of the beautiful woman.

For the first time Rama saw clearly his wife's hair was broken.

"Reverse. I want to see it from the front." Pinta Rama's.

Hasna shifted her position to face Rama. Rama lifted his bowed wife's chin.

"Pretty." Only that word came out.

That girl is really pretty. All this time he always closed his beauty tightly from the eyes that are not lawful to look at him.

Hasna covered her face with her palms as Rama said she was beautiful.

"Why closed?" Temptation Rama.

"I'm ashamed, let alone the lights still on." Hasna said, making Rama laugh at hearing it.

"Aren't you laughing?" Sewot.

"I remember what happened this morning. You put my pants on while crashing, it's like running an Augustusan race." Rama is laughing now.

"Why does Mas Rama always remember the embarrassing incident anyway.?" His protest.

"Because your expression is so funny." Kekeh Rama, made Hasna blush her lips.

"But you're so beautiful, Hasna. Thank you for keeping this beauty for me." Rama.

Again, her cheeks met red to hear the praise of her husband.

This morning something was different. Hasna did her activities freely without wearing the veil that always covered her head.

Last night Rama asked him to take off the cloth that always covered his head when only alone with him.

Hasna is struggling with her activities in the kitchen, while Rama is still in his study. This morning he will hold a zoom meeting with several company officials.

Maybe for the next week, he'll be working from home. The company let Ivan handle it, there is Marissa also who will help his assistant.

Rama went down the stairs looking for his wife in the kitchen. But I didn't find anyone there. Breakfast was on the table, but his wife was nowhere to be seen.

Rama checked the guest room Hasna was wearing, remaining empty. Also with the bathroom. There's no way his wife's out without his permission.

"Where is he?" Mumbled Rama.

Then Rama headed to the laundry room located at the back near the swimming pool. Sure enough, his wife was drying clothes that had just been washed.

"Hasna's." Call Rama.

"Eh, yes, Mas?" Hasna was a little tiptoed at the call of her husband.

"What's wrong? Want breakfast now?" Hasna put back the laundry that she had not had time to dry.

"No, just later." Resist.

"Then Mas Rama wait in the middle room. Let me finish this first, less." Pinta. Her husband did not move, instead sitting in the chair that Hasna used to iron clothes.

"Do we need to take ART?" Rama asked as he watched his wife work in the laundry room.

"I don't think so. I can still do it." Refuse Hasna.

"But your work is a lot. Clean the house, cook and now wash. Not gonna help me yet." Rama Protest.

"Even I never saw you go to work again. Don't let it take care of me, you forget about your responsibilities at work. You better just resign." Rama.

"No, why should I resign? Taking care of you is my job, after all it doesn't interfere with work." Kilah Hasna's.

"Is your boss not angry? I don't want you to get in trouble."

"No, Mas Rama don't worry about it. They can understand my current condition. That's why I often finish my work at home. As long as it's not abandoned." Answer Hasna.

Rama nodded small to hear his wife's words. Thank goodness then.

"Emmm... Where do you actually work?" Rama began to be curious about his wife's work.

"At home." Answer Hasna.

"It must be a big place, because yesterday I accidentally saw the bookkeeping on your laptop. The turnaround is fantastic, three digits with six rows of numbers after that." Rama still clearly remembered the row of figures in the financial statements that his wife worked on.

Hasna put down the empty laundry basket, then sat down next to her husband.

"Thank God, may the blessings be, my dear." Hasna smiled at her husband.

"You tired?" Ask Rama. Rama grabbed Hasna's cold hand. Slowly squeezing it to provide warmth.

"Little." The woman smiled. Rama's treatment made him flutter.

"Oh yes, yesterday Mama reminded, if the day after Papa's birthday." Hasna is trying to master her nervousness.

"Mama said, Mas Rama should not forget. The habit." Keve Hasna.

Rama patted his forehead softly, he almost forgot about it.

"I don't even remember, when yesterday Mama said it was time here."

Rama did not remember because of his regret because of gifts from admirers of his wife the other day.

And during this time Rama always forgets the important days, because too busy himself with work.

"Haaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Mama's scolding again if I forget." Rama scratched his temple. Hasna smiled hearing that.

Hasna knew how her mother-in-law was. If you have nagged on her husband, it will certainly be long and end sulking.

My mother-in-law is very close to her two children. It's just that there was a distance with Rama after his son had a failure in matters of the heart. Rama became a cold and closed figure.

But now her husband turned into a warm person. She even accepted it as a wife. Treat him well. Hasna can feel the happiness lost after the grandfather's death from the treatment of her husband today.

He can still clearly remember how Rama treated him at the beginning of their marriage. She is considered a stranger in her husband's home. Perhaps his presence was never expected.

May this happiness be forever felt with Rama. The first man to enter his life. The first man he should love besides his father and grandfather. The man who carries a heavy burden on his shoulders upon himself, which he will be responsible for before the Owner of Life.

After lunch, Hasna went inside her room, in the guest room. There are some jobs that he has not done.

"Please send the raw material according to the address, later payment will be transferred immediately." Say Hasna over the phone.

His eyes remained focused on the laptop screen in front of him. Check some reports sent via email.

Some days take care of Rama, only bookkeeping that he could do. While others, he must be reminded first by his employees.

Like just now, he got a phone call if the raw materials in the restaurant were running low. The place is always crowded in visit. It seemed like he had to bestow this task on his confidant. And just need to control it.

Hasna directly contacted the supplier who worked with her to deliver the required ingredients. All shopping for catering kitchen needs is also a cake shop.

"Yes, for the usual amount. Thank ye. Assalamu'alaikum." Hasna ended her phone call.

Hasna is very grateful, because the place of business is growing very rapidly. Many entrust their important events in their business outlets, catering and cake shops. Many have been employed. Same as reducing unemployment. Because the average employee has just graduated from school. Most importantly they are honest, enterprising and responsible with their work .
