The Angel of Wounds

The Angel of Wounds
Chapter 42

Now only Rama and Nayla stay at home. The two sisters have been both silent since the departure of Hasna and their mother.

Every now and then, Nayla glanced at the older sister and noticed the man's expression. Still the same, his face still looked sour.

"Nay."

Nayla's heart beat a little faster, just because the Big Brother called her name.

The girl looked up, shifting her focus from staring at the screen of her phone, to Rama.

"If your friend sends you another gift with Hasna, just refuse." Not just a warning but it's been more of a strong rejection.

Yup! Nayla cheered in heart. He almost cried out of joy because of Rama's words. But the girl could hold it. He wanted to know where his older brother felt about Hasna, his wife.

"Emang why? Is something wrong?" Now he pretended to be indifferent to Rama's request.

"You think?" So sewed him now.

"What is appropriate if a man sends gifts to married women?" Rama continued.

Nayla seeks answers that will make Rama feel her position as husband is threatened. Nayla wanted her older brother to know that a woman like Hasna was worth fighting for.

"According to Nay, it's not appropriate."

"That's what you know." Tuke Rama.

"But, the name of the feeling is that we cannot prevent it. Especially the feelings of others. Many times Nay explained who Ms. Hasna was, many times Bian did not believe. All that needs proof, brother, not just a prank." The next began to burn.

Rama began to think about his brother's words.

"You, Nay give me advice?" Nayla Tawar.

Rama listened silently without saying a word. Nayla snorted little looking at him.

"OK, because Nay loves Hasna. And want Mbak Hasna to be her brother Nay, Nay give free advice to Kak Rama." Started to suck this one girl's way.

"First, buy Ms. Hasna a ring. It's the easiest one can recognize, whether he's married yet." Makes sense, Rama thought.

"Second, learn romantic same wife." Rama's reflexes turned towards his sister.

"Yes, the halal one lost the same one who is still dating." Sindir Nayla's.

"Three_"

"Udah, don't need to be finished. They even go everywhere." Sergey Rama, make his brother cluck upset.

Without being given any advice, Rama was well aware of his duties as a husband. Maybe he'll start learning to accept his marriage to Hasna. Learn to accept the woman as a wife.

After an accidental meeting with Kevin, Miss Diana looked more silent, unlike when she left earlier. Sometimes Hasna glanced at Mama-in-law with a focus on driving. It was seen that Miss Diana threw her gaze towards the car window.

"I love Hasna, Auntie."

"Mama hopes to make Auntie's daughter-in-law in our family."

"I want to make Aunt's daughter my wife."

"May my good intentions be welcomed."

All of Kevin's words spinning filled Miss Diana's mind. Even with the look of happiness that emanated from his handsome face. A young man as good as Kevin proposed to Hasna to be his wife. While his son as Hasna's husband, did not appreciate Hasna as a wife.

Suddenly there was an inner upheaval in Ms. Diana. Her instincts as a mother made her not to the heart, just by imagining if a man as good as Kevin knew Hasna was his son's wife, how would the young man feel? But on the other hand, Miss Diana had such great hopes for her son's marriage.

"God, give the best way to the problem of the son of the servant's daughter."

Along the way home, Diana was more silent. He threw a glance out the car window. Hasna occasionally glanced with her eyes tails while remaining focused on driving.

"Ma, Mama why?" Hasna asked without looking at her mother-in-law.

Apparently Miss Diana did not hear her daughter-in-law's words.

"Ma, Mama okay?" Miss Diana remained unmoved with a focused gaze staring out the car window.

"Ma?"

Hasna patted her in-laws' arms softly. Ms. Diana slightly tiptoed and turned her head towards Hasna who was sitting behind the steering wheel.

"Yes, Honey?" He said a little surprised.

Hasna smiled, looking at her husband's mother for a moment.

"Sorry, Hasna ngagetin Mama, huh?"

"No, Honey. What's up?" The middle-aged woman smiled wryly.

"Is Mama okay? Hasna noticed from earlier that Mama was more silent. Mama's okay, right?" There was concern from Hasna's tone.

"It's okay, honey. Mama's fine." Diana smiled again.

Back silence.

"You're the same friend you were, what's his name, Mama forgot." Diana tried to remember Kevin's name.

"Mas Kevin?" Sahut Hasna, a glance at her in-laws.

"Ah yes, Kevin. Are you old friends?"

The pace of the car slowed down, the streets began to solidify and made a bit of a standstill.

"It's okay. Looks like you guys are very familiar. I thought you were close friends, I mean Mama, best friends." Miss Diana was very careful when she said 'close' to Hasna. Don't let her daughter-in-law be offended.

Hasna smiled at her in-laws.

"No, we're just friends. We met accidentally that time. And we only met a few more times after that." His reply was accompanied by a distinctive smile on his face.

Miss Diana watched Hasna's expression as she told Kevin, looking ordinary. Different from Kevin. The young man looked excited as he recounted his encounter with Hasna. There was a happy twinkle in the man's eyes.

"Why, Ma?" Hasna looked back at her in-laws.

A red light flashed, Hasna stopped her car and turned to her mother-in-law.

"It's okay, you guys seem to look so familiar. Mama thinks you're old friends." The middle-aged woman smiled wryly.

"Mas Kevin is indeed typical of people who are easily familiar, yes maybe because of his humble nature we like people who have long known. But it's not really that close to our relationship."

The sound of a simple horn makes both of them realize if the green light is back on. Slowly Hasna re-applied her car.

"Hasna's relationship with Mas Kevin, only limited to cooperation. Relationship between seller and buyer." Hasna looked at Mama-in-law.

"Hasna only builds good relationships with all customers, in the hope that the cooperation we build will last a long time. Moreover, Mas Kevin's office took catering from Hasna's place at lunch."

Miss Diana felt that her daughter-in-law was too naive. Maybe for Hasna it was just a job relationship, but not for Kevin. The young man fell in love with Hasna because of the comfort she gave him. Until the young man proposed to Hasna through him.

"Ma, do you think we have a relationship?" Hasna was a little unkind when she said it.

"I'm sorry, if what Hasna asked this could offend you. We have no relationship other than our relationship. We did it professionally."

"More, Hasna is a wife. Hasna honored Hasna's husband, and Hasna was obliged to keep the honor of Mas Rama as Hasna's husband."

Miss Diana heard the truth from every word of her daughter-in-law. All this time even her daughter-in-law never complained about her son's attitude.

"I'm sorry Mama, if your question offends you, dear." Miss Diana gently rubbed Hasna's arm while driving.

"It's okay, Ma. Hasna also apologized if there was a less pleasing attitude of Hasna." Those shady eyes exuded sincerity.

Miss Diana was silent again staring straight at the road they passed. Hasna refocused on the steering. Both are silent again.

"Hasna, are you happy with this marriage?" Be careful Miss Diana asked her daughter-in-law something personal.

Hasna was a little surprised to hear the question of Mama-in-law. But isn't that a very natural thing to ask a mother. Their marriage was the result of a match.

"Hasna's happy, Ma." Hasna replied with a smile, but her gaze was straight on the street in front of her.

"Mama's happy if you're happy with Mama's son. Mama's very confident, you can heal Rama's past wounds."

Hasna flinched hearing her in-laws. Can he be like that, because in reality Rama keeps his distance from him.

"Oh yeah, about Nayla's college friend. What do you think?"

Hasna was stunned to hear him, Both of her eyebrows were clutched.

"I mean Mama?" Hasna wanted to know the direction of her in-laws' random conversation.

"Yes.... Do you think Nayla's friend is handsome? Compared to your friend, Kevin, which handsome?" Not answering, Hasna laughed.

"Mom, long time ago when Nayla was infected, Ma." Chortled.

"Yes, I just want to know, what your assessment is with the two men who like you."

Hasna looked astonished at her in-laws. What do you mean, two guys who like it?

"Well, Kevin likes you, too. Like, you're being fought over by three men." Miss Diana tried to reason, it was impossible to say if Kevin liked it and had proposed earlier.

Let it be resolved by his son-in-law.

"Mom, there's just something to ask." Keve Hasna. It seems Nayla's nature is declining from her mother's.

"So how?"

Miss Diana slightly urged Hasna to answer her question this time. He just wanted to know if Hasna really accepted her son as a husband.

"They're both handsome. And have their own advantages. Kevin, more mature-minded, probably because of his age too. Bian, however, is still unstable. Still like him when he acts."

Miss Diana listened well to every word Hasna said, so she knew how her daughter-in-law responded when two men approached her simultaneously.

"So conclusion?"

At a glance, Hasna turned her head and smiled at Mama-in-law before giving an answer.

"As Hasna said earlier, both have their own advantages. If it's a good-looking thing, lie that Hasna says they're not good-looking." Keve Hasna.

"But, however handsome they may be, Hasna must be able to keep Hasna's sight. Because only Mas Rama is handsome in Hasna's eyes." The woman's cheeks warmed up as she said it. Miss Diana smiled faintly at the words of her daughter-in-law this time.

"When Mas Rama said the promise of marriage before God. At that time Hasna had to close her eyes from the beauty of other creatures, besides Hasna's husband. Close the heart of the demon-created sense to destabilize the marriage relationship. For Hasna's life, it was wholly Hasna's. Even if both Hasna's parents are still alive, they are no longer entitled to the life of her biological daughter after marriage. Even those who treat and care for Hasna to adulthood."

Miss Diana's tears melted at the words of her daughter-in-law. How this young woman beside him was so caring for herself as well as her honor. She was also able to position herself as a wife who guarded the honor of her husband. Hasna never once complained and complained about her son's behavior.

Hasna was only one year old with her daughter. But Hasna has tremendous emotional control. His thinking is far ahead. And very wise to deal with problems.

They did not choose wrongly. Hopefully Hasna's presence will bring about a change in her son's life.
