PS 37 - Results

A week passed, Ghifari still came to my house. And Bang Haidar also kept coming but without Ghifari's knowledge. Bang Haidar is very close to Mama. The more days, they look so close.

Today is the result of a DNA test conducted by Bang Ghifari and Mama, Tonight Bang Haidar said that he would come to my house.

This afternoon, I started to leave the house. I've been healed since yesterday, only I'm still lazy to meet Ghifari.

I came out of the house with a t-shirt and training pants. I want to run late in the afternoon so that my body is refreshed.

I prepared to run, but Ghifari confronted me so I could not run.

"Clearly, Ra. Why are you changing and hindarin me?" ask Ghifari.

I really can't hide my anger this time. Let it. I ran as he froze in place.

"Ra, wait!" exclaimed Ghifari who suddenly blocked my hand.

"What else? I'm doing it again, Ghif. My emotions are exploding." I said.

I'm so tired. I can't let my cry break in front of an evil man like Ghifari I really can't do it.

"OK, but I love alesan" Ghifari said.

"Gue has no reason, Ghif." I said as I shook my head.

"If you tell me, how long do I have to wait?" Ghifari.

"No idea." I replied.

"Gue doesn't want to leave until it's certain" Ghifari said.

I rubbed my head riled, Ghifari is typical of people who have a head feeling. He was always like that and wouldn't let me go if he wanted something.

"Okay, a month." I said.

Ghifari shook his head, "No. A week. I'll be back in a week" Ghifari said.

Ghifari turned and left. I can only resist getting upset on the spot because Ghifari is really being authoritarian.

That night I received a message from Bang Haidar. Bang Haidar said he would come and pick me up to take me to the hospital. I was curious.

I was prepared, just waiting for Bang Haidar to come. 

And soon enough, Bang Haidarpun came and we said goodbye to Bi Shanti and Mama and then immediately left the house. 

"Come, Ra." said Bang Haidar upon arriving at the hospital.

I'm nodding.

After arriving in a room, a doctor gave us the results of the test. My heart was beating so hard. I don't know what to do right now. 

"You open, Ra?" ask Bang Haidar.

"Bareng aja, Brother." I said.

I exhaled. Then, I pray for guidance to Allah SWT in order to get the best results. I really have resigned.

"Any open thing?" bang Haidar said.

I could only nod and Bang Haidarpun opened it straight away. We were silent after reading the results.

I really don't know what to say right now. Bang Haidar's tears came down as did my tears. I even bit my lips so I wouldn't cry.

Bang Haidar was silent.

Bang Haidar turned his head towards me and looked into my eyes.

I stretched my hand while crying. Bang Haidar immediately hugged me tightly.

We were instantly unable to say anything as well as Bang Haidar.

"Allah is Good, Ra. Finally Allah allows you to meet your brother" said Bang Haidar.

I just nodded in his arms.

After the hospital, we sat in a quiet park near the hospital. I have to say something to Bang Haidar. My brother, my Big Brother.

"Bang.." call me.

"Yes?" ask Bang Haidar.

"There's something I want to say." I said as I adjusted my breath. I think this is the right time for me to tell Bang Haidar what happened a while ago.

"What?" ask Bang Haidar.

"It looks like me and mom need to move on" I said.

"Moved?" ask Bang Haidar.

"Don't know what happens until we're separated?" my many.

"Yes, you know, Ra. It's all because of Bude Ulfa and and Aunt Farha, Ghifari's mother" said Bang Haidar.

Ake closed his eyes. "Who are they in my mom's life, Bang?" my many.

"Bude Ulfa is Mama's older sister. And Aunt Farha, as far as my mother's brother knows" said Bang Haidar.

My tears are hard again. I remembered the story of Bi Shanti who told me everything. Although not as detailed as the names. However, from Bang Haidar's explanation I began to realize what had happened to my mother's family. 

"Have you married Aunt Farha?" manya curious.

My chest felt tight for a moment. I began to imagine how my mother's life was far from happy.

"You sure?" ask Bang Haidar.

"I'm sure, Bang." I said.

"But you have to stay alert?" bang Haidar said.

"Yes, Bang. Sure. I didn't expect, Bang, that Ghifari had entered me home with a devious purpose." I said.

"This is what you're afraid of, Za. Ghifari will destroy our family again" said Bang Haidar.

I nodded, "I had time with the conversation he had with his mother, Bang." I said.

"What did he say?" ask Bang Haidar.

"She said her mother told me to do well, and it turned out that Ghifari and her mother already knew who I was. And he told his mother to do good to me so that I would apologize for her mother's mistake." I said.

Bang Haidar was silent.

I feel like this is the right time for me to go forever. My mother's been suffering too much all this time and I just know enough who my brother and father are. I don't want to be in that creepy family.

I don't want my mom to feel any more pain.

"Mom and I have to go, Bang." I said. "I've been quite happy to meet Brother and have kissed papa's hand. I think it's time I went with Mama and Bi Shanti. I don't want to hurt Mama any deeper, Bang." I said sobbing.

Bang Haidar looked down.

"Look, Bang. Because of that fucking past, Mama's been like that. Years, Bang. For years I've seen my mom cry every night. For years I watched my mother in a wheelchair without being able to see the outside world. For years, my mom was alone with me who didn't even know anything." I said.

I wept. I can't hold back my tears anymore.

Bang Haidar immediately hugged me and I came back crying in his arms.
