PS 35 - Meeting

Soon, Bang Haidarpun and I arrived in front of my house. I directed him to park his car right in front of the house.

Although already in front of the house and has parked the car appropriately, but I have not intended to get out of the car.

The reason I'm still in Bang Haidar's car is because I want to make sure of something. I wanted to ascertain a truth that finally made me bring Bang Haidar to my house.

Bang Haidar was the second man I allowed to enter my house after Ghifari. However, my reason was really because I wanted to make sure of something.

I looked at my house and started hoping my mom would come out. I wish my mom was out with Bi Shanti because Bi Shanti likes to take my mom for a walk.

I'm still quiet. I was confused as to what to say to Bang Haidar because I stopped by to not be able to tell the truth to Bang Haidar. I can't be sure yet.

“Oiya, wait for Brother to open the door huh?” ask Bang Haidar.

“Eh, no need, Bang. Za can be alone.” I said to Bang Haidar.

Bang Haidar did not listen to me, and went straight out and opened the door for me. I felt bad for him because I felt like I was being treated like a princess. After the door opened, I couldn't help but get out of the car.

Bang Haidar just smiled and nodded. Not chuckling anymore. Ah, already. I don't want to continue. I don't want to mention Ghifari's name anymore.

“Eh, come, Bang!” I said.

Bang Haidar and I immediately intended to walk towards the door but how surprised I was to see Mama and Bi Shanti who had poked from inside the house.

I stopped my steps, as well as Bang Haidar's. I turned to Bang Haidar to find out what was happening in the scene. I really want to make sure of something.

As I observed his face, Bang Haidar turned his head towards me. “What's up?” ask Bang Haidar.

I shook my head, “Eh, Nothing, Bang.” I said.

I don't know if I should be grateful or if I should be sad about this. I really am between those two things. I am grateful to see how Bang Haidar responded, if I see Bang Haidar's face I feel that Bang Haidar does not know my mother, it means that Bang Haidar is not my brother. However, on the one hand there is a sense of disappointment because honestly there are seeds of hope that I accidentally planted in there.

“Which one are you?” bang Haidar asked a little whisper to me.

Bang Haidar's question suddenly made me realize that I had to wake up from reality. No change means life has to go on. “Eh, the one in the wheelchair, Bang.” I said to Bang Haidar.

Bang Haidar nodded.

“Assalamualaikum!” my regards to Bi Shanti and my mother.

“Assalamualaikum!” greetings Bang Haidar as well.

“Waalaikumsalam.” Bi Shanti replied.

I kissed my mother's hand and I immediately kissed her cheek. Next I did the same thing to Bi Shanti who I had also considered my own mother because she was a friend of my mother.

Bang Haidar kissed Mama and Bi Shanti's hands.

“Wah, Ma'am. Look, Ara who's that?” asked Bi Shanti teasing me.

I chuckle. “Known Ma, Bi. His name is Bang Haidar. Bang, this is my mama and this is Bi Shanti, my second mama.” I said.

Bang Haidar nodded, “I Haidar.” said.

“And Haidar is?” ask Bi Shanti.

I was confused as to what to answer. I can't blame Bi Shanti for asking Bang Haidar about it because I know that Bi Shanti is really why I keep suspicious of other people and I can guess that she is still I am afraid of my mom's past.

“E...” I started brain twisting.

“I'm the doctor who will take care of his mother Za means Ara.” said Bang Haidar.

I turned to Bang Haidar in surprise. I really didn't tell Bang Haidar to pretend to be a doctor even though his profession was.

Ah, I really don't know. My purpose in getting Bang Haidar to come was to find the truth, not to increase the number of lies.

“Wah, Alhamdulillah then. Aren't you, Ma'am?” bi Shanti asked my mother. My mother could only smile.

Seeing how my mother smiled made me smile too.

If this means that I have to follow what Bang Haidar said. After all, Bang Haidar is a doctor. So, I assume this time I'm not lying to anyone. Not to Bi Shanti not to my mother.

“Come, log in first, Nak.” says Bi Shanti.

“Thank you, Bi.” says Bang Haidar.

We all went into the house. I helped Bi Shanti make a drink and left Bang Haidar with Mama in the living room. I kissed when I heard Bang Haidar invite my mother to chat.

I'm just smiling.

“So, Nak Ghifari or Nak Haidar?” ask Bi Shanti.

My smile immediately faded sect. I turned my head to Bi Shanti, I also put another hot water flask whose wings I wanted to put into a glass filled with sugar and the dip.

“Means aunty?” I pretended not to understand.

“Yes who do you like? What about Ghifari or Nak Haidar? Aunt sure, she's not really your doctor?” asked Bi Shanti who started teasing me.

To try to buy time, I poured hot water into the glasses I had prepared.

I feel like I want to tell Bi Shanti not to mention Ghifari's name in this house again. But I'm not ready to explain what happened. Change when I am ready. I will tell Bi Shanti I will even explain everything that happened.

“Not there, Bi. Ah ah, don't tease Ara. He's a real doctor, Bi. Ara to the living room first.” said I avoided our conversation.

Bi Shanti chuckled behind me. I can only shake my head. When I heard him chuckle like this it made me feel good.

Arriving in the living room I knew that Bang Haidar was indeed inviting my mother to chat and I saw my mother smiling so I could conclude that my mother liked Bang Haidar as well. Also? Ah, Ghifari again. I shook my head for a moment.

“This Bang drunk first.” I said.

I put the drink on the table.

Shortly after, Bi Shanti also arrived at the living room. Then we chatted with joy. I am happy for Bang Haidar who also took the heart of Bi Shanti and Mama. The conversation is also pretty cool. Well, seeing these two people who are now very important in my life smiling really makes me feel cool. That injury.

After 30 minutes, Bang Haidar said goodbye to Bi Shanti and my mother.

And here I am. I drove Bang Haidar to his car, I prepared to thank Bang Haidar for making my home fun for such a short time.

Bang Haidar pulled my hand to the back of his car.

Arriving at the back of the car, Bang Haidar looked at me. Very clingy, yet I could not tell what his gaze meant to me.

Unexpectedly Bang Haidar instantly pulled me in his arms. I was really surprised by what he did.

I also tried to rebel.

“Adikku.” said.

That one word succeeded in making me fall silent no longer rebelling.
