Before long they talked to each other Andre and Ratih's mother arrived with some groceries in her hands. Looks like they went to a supermarket near Andre's apartment and bought groceries.
"Why did you buy all this?" andre asked while taking her mother's groceries.
"I've told you many times that if I don't like the food of this area, I'll cook something for dinner" Andre's mother said.
"We can eat in Asian restaurants if you don't like the food here. Why bother cooking everything." said Andre.
"Here you go, how do you understand about cooking. What happened at the office? Is everything okay?" ask mother.
"Everything is fine, just some documents I have to sign directly" Andre explained.
"Alright, let me and Ratih go back and make some cookies or snacks. I wasn't full for lunch" said Andre's mother.
"Mom aren't you tired? Mom just got here and already wants to cook? Lucy has brought us all her biscuits, mother try them first." said Andre took his mother to sit.
Andre's mother obeyed his son's words, he did not want to show his dislike of Lucy to Andre.
"I'll make you some tea" said Lucy standing up.
Lucy rushed back and made tea for her lover's mother, and she did not forget to make it for Ratih. When she finished, Lucy returned with both cups in her hand and placed the tea on the table.
"Mom try this biscuit, this is Lucy herself who made it" said Andre while eating a biscuit made by Lucy.
"Is it that good?" ask mother.
Andre just nodded while allowing his mother to taste the biscuits made by Lucy. Andre's mother ate the biscuits, and can not be denied if what was in his mouth was really delicious.
"It looks like you're very good at making biscuits, it's delicious" Andre's mother said.
"Thank you, if the mistress likes it I'll make it again later." said Lucy was happy.
"If it's just a biscuit, I can make it too." said Ratih.
"If you're smart, why not make it for your food on the street?" ask Andre ketus.
"Making biscuits is just the basis of cooking, anyone can make them" Andre's mother said, trying to defend Ratih.
"Have they all gone to their rooms?" asked Andre who came out of his room to change clothes.
"Yes, it looks like the trip here took away all their energy. I'm going to clean this up first." said Lucy to clean the tea cup and the biscuit jar.
"Let it go, you should rest too. You're under too much pressure today." said Andre, pulling his girlfriend's hand.
Lucy sits next to Andre and rests on Andre's chest, gently embracing her lover and rubbing Lucy's gently unraveling hair.
"Are you okay?" ask Andre.
"No, I'm not very well" Lucy said.
"Did my mother trouble you today? What did he tell you when I wasn't home?" ask Andre again.
"Yes, he really troubled me a lot and intimidated me unilaterally. I'm really frustrated to remember what happened this afternoon" Lucy said.
"Alright, I'll talk to him later so that mom can be much better to you" Andre said trying to calm down.
"No, there's no need to do that. I'll try to make your mother's heart melt and accept me." said Lucy.
"Are you sure? My mother is not an easy person to take his heart" Andre said in disbelief.
"It may take some time, but I'm sure he'll like me sooner or later. She has to see my abilities that I never showed anyone." Lucy said with a big smile.
"You dare to compete with Ratih?" ask Andre.
"Are you expecting to get married and be with Ratih?" ask Lucy back.
"No, I don't even want to look at his surgeon-like face" Andre said.
"Good then, I'm not at all afraid to compete with him. Because anyway you will support me and I have to be ready to face anyone as a companion to a CEO." Lucy said with confidence.
Andre was actually made to laugh at Lucy's extremely confident remarks, but in the depths of his heart, Andre is very grateful because now Lucy is getting older and can rely on her feelings well.
