Grandma Grace walked slowly towards the hut where she rested while in the garden, suddenly his steps stopped because he saw a well-dressed male figure but because of his unclear view he was unable to ascertain who the man was. He did not care much about the man and continued his steps towards the hut.

"Lucy, looks like your footsteps aren't as fast as they used to be. Now you're very slow to catch up with this old me." said Grace's grandmother.

Lucy who from a distance did not very clearly hear the words of her grandmother was just him and did not answer him. He looked towards Andre who was just standing at the edge of the hut while looking around the garden.

"Hey sir, this seems to be your first time visiting a place like this" Lucy said as she held up a basket full of radishes in both hands.

"You need help?" ask Andre.

"I can lift this by myself" Lucy said casually.

Andre just smiled looking at Lucy who was lifting the two radish baskets on the left and right of her hand without fear of her hands scuffing. Lucy seems to be a hardworking woman and does not forget her life first.

Lucy placed the crates in the hut and saw her grandmother cleaning herself in a shower beside the hut. Lucy approaches Andre and tells him to sit on the porch of a hut made of bamboo.

"Let's sit here" said Lucy.

"Ah well, so where was your grandmother?" ask Andre.

"Oh he was cleaning himself in the shower there" Lucy said, pointing to where her grandmother was.

Andre just stood still and nodded his head while paying attention to the entire corner of the rickety hut.

"You may not like this place, it's dirty with mud and dirt. Unlike in a city filled with shiny buildings and floors, it will not make your clothes or shoes dirty" said Lucy.

"Are you sure I don't like things like this?" ask Andre.

"I'm sure you don't like him, a man who loves cleanliness and perfection and who might love a place like this" Lucy said.

Before long they talked Lucy's grandmother approached them and looked a long time at Andre. Lucy immediately stood next to her grandmother and led her grandmother closer.

"Grandma, meet Andre. He owns the company I work for today" Lucy said.

"really? Why is he so young? Looks like he's a young man who got his company from his parents' legacy" said Lucy's grandmother as she stared fixedly at Andre.

He looked at Andre carefully, Andre's face that did not look like a local made his grandmother think for a moment and suddenly nodded her head.

Lucy elbowed Andre who was now standing beside her while widening her eyes.

"How could you say such a thing to grandma?" ask Lucy to whisper.

"I'm telling you the truth, where's my mistake?" asked Andre back while grimacing in pain.

Grandma Lucy walked to the seat and left them both, she seemed to understand the romance of these two young people.

"So, you came home to say if you want to get married soon?" ask Lucy's grandmother directly.

Lucy who heard that remark was immediately shocked and shook her head strongly.

"Where possible, I still haven't achieved what I aspired to. And I haven't made Grandma happy either, I'm here because I miss Grandma." said Lucy.

"Wouldn't he be the one you miss more than this old man like me? So how long have you been together?" ask grandma Lucy.

"It's been almost the last couple of years, and he's been." Lucy said disconnected.

"I know he's not from where we come from. So, where are you from?" ask Lucy's grandmother to Andre.

"Oh, I am from Indonesia" said Andre briefly.

"What's your purpose here with my granddaughter?" ask grandma again.

"Nothing, I just want to get to know you and see Lucy's family" Andre said.

"What do you want to know from an old woman like me? Have you met Lucy's father in town?" ask grandma Lucy.

"Yes I have met him, and I have known him" Andre said politely.

"I know you don't like him, his father doesn't have good manners. Even she can forget her mother and child simultaneously for the sake of her life." said Lucy's grandmother cheered on Lucy's father's bad side.

Andre does not answer Grace's grandmother's words, he understands the true nature of Lucy's father. He also saved Lucy from the cruelty of his father who could sell his daughter to pay off his debts.
