Lucy, Andre and Carlo enjoy their dinner at a fancy restaurant where Andre and Lucy used to eat. The affection they both emanated was obvious, making Carlo in front of them envious of what he saw and trying to focus on his food.
"Ahh, I'm full" Lucy said, grinning and rubbing her stomach.
"How not, you ate all the cake in addition to this. It's too much if you don't feel full" Andre mocked.
"I had to eat a lot, my energy was drained in the office. What's more, I'm just doing everything alone, I'm really frustrated" Lucy said.
Carlo just silently heard the story that came out of Andre and Lucy's mouth, however he was still a stranger who was between them.
"I'm really grateful for dinner today" Carlo looked at Andre.
"I'm glad you're having dinner with us, I'm sure you like the food, don't you?" ask Lucy.
"Yes I really like it, thank you." said Carlo.
"Well then let's go home, I still have to check some important documents" said Andre.
"Well.... This fast?" ask Lucy.
"So, you still want to play around with your best friend?" ask Andre back.
"We have to take Carlo home first then." Lucy suggested.
Andre was silent while staring at the wonder of his girlfriend, he was completely inexhaustible with the way his lover thought. Why is there a woman who was born so innocent and sincere as Lucy.
"Ah no need to drive me, I can go home alone" said Carlo while glancing at Andre.
"It's okay, we want to go home too. What's wrong with us going home together" Lucy said
"Don't force your best friend if he won't. Maybe he has important business and does not want to go home immediately" said Andre.
"But.." Lucy's speech was interrupted.
"Come on, I told you I should check my work today" said Andre holding Lucy's hand and pulling her up.
Carlo was speechless to hear Andre's words, did not expect Andre was reluctant to take him home even though he was just a pleasant talk to refuse an offer from Lucy earlier.
"Alright then, Carlo sorry yes we can't take you home. She's really very ambitious at work so her life doesn't feel at ease if it's not done yet" Lucy said, holding Carlo's hands.
Andre walks in first leaving Carlo and Lucy still talking inside the restaurant. Andre gets into the car first while turning on his car, before Lucy and Carlo get out of the restaurant and wave each other to part ways. Lucy walks into the car and goes inside staring at Andre wryly.
"What's wrong? Why are you staring at me like that?" ask Andre wonder.
"I should ask why are you doing that? You obviously blatantly refused to take Carlo home" Lucy said scowlingly.
"I really have to take care of my documents" Andre said briefly.
Lucy just silently heard Andre saying she didn't want to fight with Andre anymore because they had just made up. Moreover, he wanted to ask Andre for help to give Carlo a job at Andre's company. So he has to make Andre's mood good so as not to make it difficult.
On the other hand Carlo felt annoyed that Andre seemed to stay away from him or keep his distance from him. But he did not want to give up just like that to get the attention of Andre. On the way Andre and Lucy were still in silence, as if they had just had a big fight. Lucy ventured to speak to Andre early.
"What's wrong? You still want to go for a walk?" ask Andre back.
"Not so, I just want to discuss something with you. But if you're busy later after you have free time" Lucy explained.
"Alright then I'll stop by for a while at your apartment" Andre said.
"But didn't you say it was very busy?" ask Lucy wonder.
"I'm not busy to be with you, but if I'm with other people I'm really busy" Andre said.
Lucy silently heard the words of her lover, she was confused by the way her lover thought.
"Mas, you don't like Carlo?" ask Lucy directly.
Andre looked at Lucy for a moment and smiled knottyly.
"I don't dislike him, it's just that I keep my distance from him" Andre said.
"Keeping distance? Why do you have to keep your distance from him? Carlo's my best friend." asked Lucy in surprise.
"Because he's your best friend I keep my distance from him, how can I generalize your position as my lover with him who is only your best friend" Andre explained.
"It's really weird, you don't even limit yourself when you're with Luna." Lucy muttered scowlingly.
Andre braked the car and stopped instantly, he opened the seat belt and confirmed his sitting position which was now facing toward Lucy.
"Are you jealous of Luna?" ask Andre directly.
"Whoever is jealous, I'm just surprised" Lucy said nervously.
He did not expect if Andre heard his murmur.
"Lucy, Luna and I have been friends since college. That's why he and I are so familiar and he helps me a lot in the office" Andre said.
"I know that, it's just that I feel like he's a tough rival to me" Lucy said.
Andre smiled to see the reaction of the woman, clearly visible on his face if at this time he was jealous of Luna who was just a friend of the office.
"Well, let's get down, how long are we gonna be in this car?" ask Andre.
"Where are we going? Didn't you say you wanted to take me home?" ask Lucy.
Andre points to a building in front of him that turns out to be Lucy's apartment. Lucy who saw it immediately felt embarrassed, maybe she did not realize if they had arrived at the apartment.
Lucy follows Andre who first gets out of the car and walks leaving Lucy in the car. Lucy chases Andre with a small run, look annoyed face Lucy now controls all the look of his face. Lucy paused for a moment while adjusting her gasping breath.
"Based on that guy, he always left me alone. Looks like she's enjoying this life." Lucy said naggingly.
Now Lucy walks next to Andre, and Andre laughs a little at Lucy who is a little stupefied for running after him. Andre clasped Lucy's hand while smiling sweetly at her. Seeing this, Lucy clung to Andre's hand and struggled spoiled in the man's arm. It's been a while since they walked together like that.
