Lucy read the letter carefully, while her grandmother listened to what her granddaughter had read. And the essence of the letter turns out so that Lucy can move to the city and come to live with her father. Lucy's father asks her only child to live with her in the city. Lucy stared fixedly at her grandmother, it was clear that her grandmother strongly disagreed with her father's wishes.
"Grandmother, I wouldn't leave my grandmother if she didn't let me" Lucy said, embracing her grandmother.
Suddenly from the crevice of her grandmother's eyes flowed water and wet her cheeks that began to wrinkle.
"You must know me better than anyone else Lucy, I really don't want you in town. But, if you keep living here you won't thrive, son, you'll have to pursue a higher education out there" said his grandmother.
"But for me a life like this is already pretty darn good, I don't want anything else right now. Being able to accompany Grandma to harvest vegetables and all these others was a lot of fun for me." Lucy said earnestly.
"But life has to go forward, your mother and I have been locked up in this old hut for decades. There's no change from this, you have to get out of here and chase your dreams" she said.
Zoe's grandmother was very understanding of Lucy's desire to work, if she worked in an area like the one where they lived she feared it would harm her. Because there is often violence and deprivation around them live. But if Lucy is looking for a job in the city, it may be much safer what else her father will definitely take care of her only daughter.
"I think maybe Boris has a point in asking you to come to town and find a job there. At least in a safer city compared to where we live now. Moreover, your father can certainly take care of you if anything happens later." said grandma.
"Lucy, it's very dangerous here if you work at night. And I'm too old to keep looking after you." said Grandma Zoe.
"I'm going to find a job that can only be done during the day, I promise I won't make grandma worry" Lucy said reassuringly.
