S.H.E (Women I've Purchased)
#28

After eating they went for a walk along every corner of the city that was already full of colorful lights. Andre always follows Lucy from behind and notices her every move.

"Hey little boy, aren't you tired of being around all day?" asked Andre mockingly.

"Two more days of Christmas Eve, how could I have passed the glittering nights of welcome like this. Anyway when else I'm going to play around like this, you're just busy with your work." Lucy scolded.

"All right, but it's ten in the evening. I'm afraid we'll miss the bus." said Andre.

Suddenly Lucy stopped her steps and turned towards Andre with widened eyes.

"What time is it?" ask Lucy to make sure.

"It's almost ten." said Andre casually.

"Oh my God, you should have told me from earlier. We're really gonna miss the night bus." cried Lucy.

"Nobody said he wanted to go through Christmas Eve. So why am I being blamed?" ask Andre.

"Let's hurry we have to hurry to the stop, before we completely miss the bus" Lucy said.

With a reflex Lucy pulled Andre's hand and took him running. Andre was surprised by Lucy's behavior. He was actually dealing with a child who was afraid to come home late.

For about half an hour they ran to the stop. Their breaths were both breathless and Andre immediately sat on the bench for his performance and tried to catch his breath. Lucy looks at the bus departure schedule on the board while looking at the clock on her phone.

"Good thing, we're not too late. There's still one bus in a minute" Lucy said excitedly.

Lucy looked at Andre who was still trying to catch his breath, completely forgetting what he had done.

"Did that really make you tired?" ask Lucy scared.

Andre looked at Lucy with a piercing look. Just this time he was being played with by a child.

"I'm sure this is the reason why you eat so much" said Andre who was still upset.

Lucy was silent and did not want to deal with Andre's emotions. He looked towards the road making sure the bus was coming. It's been almost two hours the bus hasn't come yet, it's now showing midnight. Seen a restless face on Lucy's face, he was confused why the bus had not yet arrived even though it was past the hour of departure.

"Why hasn't the bus arrived yet? It's past departure time." murmured Lucy.

"Did you forget? It's Christmas welcome night. Everyone must have gone home sooner than usual" said Andre.

Lucy was silent to Andre's words, she only realized that. Though usually he always remembered, maybe because it had not traveled far to make Lucy drifted into it.

"So, how now?" lucy asked in an almost inaudible voice.

"You know how else, we'll sleep at this stop and wait for the morning bus" Andre said casually.

"What....? We'll freeze to death if we sleep here" Lucy said in fear.

"Aren't you the one who didn't want me to take the car and insisted on taking the public transport. After all you might have gotten used to sleeping outside like this." said Andre in a slightly irritated tone.

Lucy was speechless at Andre's remark, she was truly regretful with her behavior. And did not expect it would end like this, he should obey Andre's words earlier.

"I... Just wanted to take a walk remembering the old time with grandma. I'm sorry if I put you in this condition" Lucy said sadly.

"Ahh, why do women always use such expressions. It's as if I'm guilty of all this." - Andre.

Andre stood up from the bench and walked away leaving Lucy still leaning on the stop pole. Seeing that, Lucy ran up to Andre who had walked first.

"Where are we going? It's very late" Lucy said.

"Do you want to freeze to death there, I will find lodging for tonight" said Andre casually.

"Haa.. inn? Are we going to the inn?" ask Lucy again.

"So, do you have any advice on where we're going?" ask Andre back.

Lucy nodded her head and it really upset Andre. Andre continued walking leaving Lucy who was still following him behind.

After walking they found a nearby inn. Without a second thought Andre went straight in and asked for an empty room.

"I need two single empty rooms" Andre told an innkeeper.

"Sorry sir, there is only one single room left. All lodging when the celebration of Christmas greetings is full. Would you like to order it?" ask the waiter.

Andre looked towards Lucy who was already cold and exhausted. Without Lucy's consent Andre booked the room and took the keys to the waiter.

"Do you want to stay there?" ask Andre.

Lucy follows Andre as she walks into the room, after arriving at the room Andre enters and is followed by Lucy.

"Are we going to sleep here?" lucy asked in surprise to see that there was only one small bed in the room.

"There's only this room left, if you want to sleep at the stop it's okay" Andre said, taking off his warm clothes and hanging them.

Andre immediately put his shoes and beranti with sandals that have been provided.

"I'm gonna sleep on the couch" said Lucy to take over the blanket.

"Owh, please. Because it's your fault, so you really have to sleep there." said Andre did not care.

Lucy was stunned by Andre's treatment. It seemed like he had forgotten that this man was actually a cold-blooded man. Lucy took a blanket and pillow, she headed for the sofa and laid her body down.

Andre without looking at Lucy immediately laid his body on the mattress and turned his back to Lucy.

"He's really a psychopathic man, he could've let a woman sleep on the couch." - Lucy.

Due to exhaustion Lucy was already drifting in her dreams and fell asleep. While Andre who from earlier just pretended to sleep turned his body and saw Lucy who had fallen asleep.

"He fell asleep like an ox and was also very stubborn." murmured Andre.

he got up from the bed and approached Lucy who was asleep. Slowly Andre lifts Lucy's tiny body to move into the bed. After that he enveloped Lucy and lay down next to her.

Andre looked at Lucy's petite face carefully as he watched her face. Afterwards, he tries to sleep by sharing a mattress with Lucy.

"Ahh, I don't know what you think tomorrow morning. At least you don't freeze to death keep warm." Andre said.
