Queen Without Crown
Chapter 52 Getting Closer

"Sorry Chen, it looks like we can't get married anytime soon. You know for yourself my current condition."

"Yes, I know. I'm just kidding, don't worry." Chen stroked Fen's head.

Fen smiled with relief. Although Chen had always been kind to her, yet somehow she could not believe it. He always felt that what Chen said was not what was in his heart.

"Rest, tomorrow I'll surprise you. You'll be happy. "

"Thank you Chen, I can't wait for tomorrow." Fen smiled sweetly.

Chen smiled happily, he would be patient until the woman was willing to accept him. He'll make Fen reciprocate his feelings.

After Chen left, Fen immediately put on his coat. He wanted to investigate the secret that Chen had hidden from him.

With Fen sneaking out of his room. Both of his servants were busy cleaning the kitchen. Fen then exited the pavilion without making a sound.

It was dark outside, and several servants walked to the main building. He immediately walked behind them.

"I can't wait to see Mr. Chen, he's so handsome and dashing." A servant girl who looked like she was a teenager spoke while giggling softly.

"But it's a pity that she's engaged now! " Timpal the other girl.

"really? " The teenage girl looked shocked.

"You missed the hottest gossip. Mr. Chen went home with a foreign woman who was referred to as his fiancee. "

"Foreign woman? "

"Yes, he's not from our race. I heard that woman came in an unconscious state. "

"Is the woman sick? "

"Looks like that, I saw Physician Nyuk Giu come to Master Chen's pavilion. "

"What does she look like, is she beautiful? "

"According to Ling and Wei, Mr. Chen's servant, the woman had wide eyes and plump eyelashes. The woman looked like she came from a noble family. But Mr. Chen said that the old woman was just a merchant. "

"I'm curious about Mr. Chen's fiancee. "

"Mister Chen's fiancee is really that great, as she will soon be dealing with Miss Bao Yu."

"You're right. Miss Bao Yu will definitely not stay silent."

Fen stopped following them and stood in the shadow of the trees. From the talk of the servants earlier, he was able to conclude that Chen had been lying to him all along.

So who is he really? Where'd it come from? Does he still have a family?

Fen wanted to go out, but he saw some guards standing guard in front of the gate. It seemed like it would be difficult if he was reckless to sneak.

Finally the woman decided to return to the pavilion. Inside the deserted. Apparently the two servant girls had already left. Fen went into his room and hung his coat.

While sitting in front of the mirror Fen combed his hair. In his mind he kept thinking of ways to find out his past. For a while he would pretend to obey Chen, but when there was a chance he would run away.

Because if what the healer says is true, it means he already has a child. Or even a husband. Chen might have kidnapped her.

King Satria looked at the blue and surging sea water. White clouds were clumping on the horizon, as if coming into contact with the ocean. Several times he saw a herd of dolphins swimming happily following the ship he was riding.

The man is currently on his way to the Eastern Sea with his wife's cousin, Prince Gaurav. They both left five weeks ago. No one knows their purpose, except Eldrige.

All the affairs of the kingdom he has handed over to the Royal Council. While Eldrige will oversee the security of the country from evil magic attacks.

In the distance began to appear land that resembled a long and dark reptilian silhouette. Over time the silhouette was increasingly real featuring a very beautiful land.

Hundreds of ships with various models leaned on the dock. Seagulls flew in the air and there were some who clustered at the masts of the ship.

The sailors got off the ship to unload the cargo. Passengers disembark and continue their journey to their respective destinations.

King Satria and Prince Gaurav decided to stop by the diner. There people noticed the two of them with strange looks.

Obviously their appearance was very stealing the attention of the residents of oriental blood. Prince Gaurav looks like a noble from a tropical land. While King Satria may look more like the incarnation of the demons in mythological fairy tales.

"I'm not comfortable glaring at these people. I feel like an animal traded in the market." King Satria grumbled.

"Gentlemen want to order what?" A servant asked Prince Gaurav.

"Please bring the best tea and food in this shop two servings."

"Good sir." The servant nodded while glancing at King Satria.

When the dish was presented at the table, King Satria looked at the food with a frown.

"I know it's noodles, the problem is I can't wear chopsticks." The King of Satria. His hands were stirring the noodles in a bowl with a chopstick.

"Do you want me to steam?" Prince Ejek Gaurav.

"You're such a bitch like Eldrige." King Satria scoffed.

"Here you go, put this on!" Prince Gaurav took out a small rectangular box from his pocket.

"What's that?"

Prince Gaurav smiled as he opened the box. His hand took a fork and put it into the bowl of King Satria.

"I admit this time you're very smart, mate." King Satria immediately ate his meal.

After the meal they asked about the circus troupe that came about two months ago.

"I remember that circus troupe, they're headed for the capital Baiyun."

"Is it far from here? "

"A long way for me who never traveled. About a day's drive north."

"Okay, thank you."

Then they went to a clothing store and bought some hanfu and hooded robes to disguise their appearance.

After that they bought two horses and directly spurred them to the north. Along the way lay terraced rice fields that are verdant and beautiful. The tall rock mountains rise into its background.

The streets became increasingly uphill and winding, as they entered the bamboo forest. The sunlight also began to dim. They spurred the horses even tighter in order to reach Baiyun town before it got too dark.

Finally they reached a large plateau. Up there the expanse of Baiyun capital looked very beautiful. The lights in the city were flickering like a cluster of fireflies at night.

"I can definitely find Queen Gita among the thousands of people who live in that city!" Said King Satria, as if to himself.

They then descended the hill and raced towards Baiyun town. There, along the road lined unique buildings with curved roof tips and make it look very beautiful.

Thousands of lanterns hanging above adorned the streets of Baiyun town. The street vendors opened trading stalls on the side of the road.

"We need to find an inn." Prince Gaurav.

"I can't read their writing. Where do you think the inn says?" Ask King Satria.

"That one! " Appoint Prince Gaurav.

They then headed to the inn. An old man took their horses to the stable. Inside the inn, a beautiful woman in a red dress greeted them very kindly. His voice is also very sweet.

"Do the gentlemen want to stay over? "

"Yes, prepare two comfortable rooms." Prince Gaurav said with a smile.

"There is a very comfortable room with special service. Is Young Master willing to take it? "

"Alright, bring your special menu to the room."

They then followed a male servant upstairs to their rooms next to each other.

King Satria immediately laid his body to the bed. His back was sore from all day riding. His eyes felt heavy so he immediately fell asleep.

"Tok.. tok..! "

The sound of knocking on the door woke him from sleep. Lazily the man walked over and opened the door. But how shocked he was when he saw who was standing there.

"What are you doing here?"
