Queen Without Crown

Queen Without Crown
Chapter 43 Feast At The Palace

"Have you really improved? I don't want you to go berserk and scare my pregnant wife!"

The King of Satria looked at Eldrige with a wry smile, as the elf came to meet him in the guest room of the King's House.

Queen Gita looked at him worriedly, yet did not dare to ask. She was afraid that her husband would be angry again.

"I'm doing fine. Your Majesty need not worry!" Eldrige replied with a gloating feeling.

"I plan to hold a meeting of the Royal League here, after the Elfian troops that yesterday went to war returned from the Angsana Kingdom." Said the King, this time his tone sounded serious.

"I also want you to be present to give me an opinion related to the dangers of magic." He continued while stroking his wife's hand which he had grasped earlier.

"Okay, Your Majesty!" Answer Eldrige.

Queen Gita just silently listened. He wondered if his father would come here. Or will Gaurav represent him?

Although since childhood he was always shunned by his father, but there was a feeling of longing that he could not prevent the old man. An inner bond that no one can ever deny.

"Will my father be present?" Queen Gita asked her husband, after Eldrige left.

"Yes, it should be."

King Satria could feel the sadness of his wife despite not knowing the real problem. He just felt that the relationship between father and son was lacking.

"I hope my father will be happy with my pregnancy." Said the woman while stroking her stomach.

"Hey, don't be moody! Didn't I as the father of this baby feel very...very happy to welcome his presence? Don't you think that's enough?" King Satria looked into his wife's teary eyes.

"Yes, that's enough for me."

Queen Gita smiled as she nodded. Her heart was touched by her husband's words.

If later the father does not love the baby in the womb, it does not matter. His love and affection and also her husband were enough to equip her son's life later.

The entire Elfian Kingdom welcomed the arrival of troops returning from the war. Along the way they were hailed by the people.

King Satria gave them a welcome and organized a welcoming party. The soldiers mingled with the troops guarding the palace. They both fought for the country.

Esme and Talitha were busy gossiping about the soldiers who looked handsome. The two of them were several times seen casting charm in front of the soldiers.

"Is there a young man you like?" Queen Gita asked with a smile.

"Sorry, Your Honor. Actually we're just a prank." Esme replied timidly as she elbowed Talitha's arm.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Talitha said to her friend.

"I don't forbid you to like them. But I hope you will act wisely so as not to harm yourself." Queen Gita advised them.

The two girls nodded. Realizing the ridiculousness of their attitude in front of those soldiers.

"I hope you have good and sincere young men who love you." Keep the woman.

"Yes, Your Majesty. We understand. Forgive our already disrespectful and shameful attitude." Talitha answered with shame.

"It's okay, I don't blame you guys." Queen Gita holds Esme and Talitha's hands.

The two red-haired girls smiled happily. They are grateful to know Queen Gita personally.

"What do you think of Galih and Anjas? They're both nice and polite young men."

Queen Gita's question made the two girls' faces meet red. Their closeness with the two young men for several days had indeed caused a strange sigh in their chests. But the cold attitude of the two young men made them afraid of hope.

"They're good. Especially Anjas, he often helps me pick vegetables in the garden." Esme spoke while imagining an extremely handsome golden-brown haired youth.

"More Lord. They're both very good. Galih once helped me tie a broken clothesline." Talitha also coined the name of a quiet, macho-looking young man.

"Tonight there will be a dance at the party. Who knows if they'd want to take you?" Queen Gita saw them smiling shyly.

"But they are very quiet." Esme complained as her finger played the tip of her hair.

"What if I order them to accompany you at the party?" Queen Gita asked while holding a smile.

"really? Of course we want to!" Answer them both compact.

"alright. Now you guys get ready for the party tonight!" The Queen of Gita.

Their friends who lived in the waiter's dorm were busy getting ready for the party. Rarely in the palace held a party for the soldiers that could be attended by all the palace officials.

Queen Gita told a bodyguard to call the two young men, Galih and Anjas. They just finished their duty.

"I want to ask you guys for help." Queen Gita looked at the two young men with a face that could not be interpreted.

The two young men looked at each other, they felt they would get an important task.

"Can you guys keep two guests at the party tonight?"

"We're ready, Your Majesty!"

Actually they were hoping to attend the party after duty, instead of returning for a new assignment. But a Queen's request is an order they cannot refuse.

The party held in the palace garden that night looked festive. Hundreds of white and blue lanterns hung above. Flower-scented candles are also burned in beautiful silver containers. Fresh flowers complement the party decorations.

The king hired servants from outside the palace to serve at the feast. They serve delicious food and cakes. Not to forget the fermented fruit juice drink is served in swan-necked teapots.

Beautiful music accompanied the festive party. Some couples have even started dancing.

Galih and Anjas stood on the edge near the dish table. They were waiting for the guests they had to take care of that night.

Suddenly King Satria and Queen Gita were present in the middle of the feast. The two of them looked perfectly matched that night in black party clothes. Queen Gita's black hair was on the original bun and left a few strands on her nape.

The audience consisting of soldiers, servants and royal staff applauded festively to welcome their King and Queen.

Queen Gita then approached the two young men who had been waiting from earlier.

"Tonight I order you two to accompany these two beautiful girls until the party is over!"

The two young men were amazed to see two very beautiful girls in a light blue party dress that appeared behind Queen Gita.

They were shocked when they realized that the two girls were Esme and Talitha. The red hair both glistened like an extremely beautiful flame light.

"I'm handing them over to you!"

Queen Gita said to Galih and Anjas. After that he immediately stepped away but the woman turned to look at Esme and Talitha while blinking one eye.

The four of them stood face to face with a clumsy feeling. Between joy and shame.

"Are you guys thirsty?" Ask Galih to melt the atmosphere.

The two beautiful girls nodded. The two of them tried desperately to look graceful.

Galih took the long-necked glass containing the drink and gave it to Talitha. So did Anjas, he also brought a glass of drink for Esme.

"Thank you." Esme said with a sweet smile to Anjas.

The young man was embarrassed. A smile that looked stiff fell on his lips.

The two of them were youths who had never been close to any girl, so they were not good at seducing and praising a girl.

Cold sweat began to wet their forehead. For them, facing an enemy in a fight was easier than facing a girl.

"Didn't you want to ask me to dance?" Esme asked impatiently.

"Ah, of course. Uh, I-i mean.. Will you dance with me?" Anjas extended his hand to Esme.

The girl greeted him without embarrassment. They immediately headed for the dance floor, Esme linking her hands to the young man's shoulders. Anjas seemed hesitant to hug the girl's waist. But Esme quickly put the young man's hand on his waist.

Talitha, who saw her best friend dancing with Anjas, immediately reached out to Galih with an intimidating look.

"May I ask you to dance?" I dare to ask.

"of course. I've been waiting for him!" The girl smiled as Galih grabbed her helping hand.

They then followed her friend to the dance floor. They all enjoyed this party.

King Satria and Queen Gita sit in the seat of honor. King Satria took his wife's hand.

"Do you want to dance?" His whisper.

"Yes, but later after this baby is born." Queen Gita replied with a smile.

Tonight was a very beautiful night in the Elfian Palace.
