Queen Without Crown

Queen Without Crown
Chapter 107 Watch out

The first rays of sunlight entered through the window slit into the room where Princess Juwita was seen still asleep. The girl slept quietly and was completely unaffected by the sound of noisy footsteps passing by in the corridor.

For someone who had been unable to sleep well for these few days, the girl was sleeping very soundly. A few moments later, she finally woke up from her sleep.

"..... "

Dazedly Princess Juwita circulated her gaze throughout the room. The girl rubbed her eyes, trying to expel the rest of her sleepiness. He remembered that Eldrige had accompanied him last night, but the man was now gone.

When he remembered the incident last night, between himself and Eldrige, his mouth suddenly opened wide. Her cheeks were red and hot as if burning. Princess Juwita grabbed a pillow and timidly buried her face, hoping she wouldn't constantly imagine their first kiss last night.

"Ah... what should I do if I meet Eldrige? I'm so embarrassed! " The girl felt her breathing getting claustrophobic due to the pillow smothering so immediately raised her face.

Princess Juwita carefully lowered her legs to the floor, but she felt her knees still ache. Her hands revealed her dress and saw both her scuffed knees had been wrapped in cloth.

The tip of his finger touched the white cloth wrapped in his wound, he could not remember when Eldrige did it. But there was a warm feeling running through his chest imagining the man painstakingly doing so.

Chequek!

Suddenly the door of the room opened, Ningrum walked inside with a pale face.

"Ningrum! " Squeak Princess Juwita when she saw her friend.

Ningrum rushed over to Princess Juwita and hugged the girl while shedding tears.

"Thank God you're safe, Juwita! "

"I'm glad you survived too! " Daughter Juwita was crying.

The two girls felt closer than ever. The traumatic experience they experienced made their friendship bond deep.

"How did you survive? " Task Princess Juwita.

"Mr Eldrige saved me. I think he helped you too, didn't he? "

Princess Juwita nodded, her face blushing again. At least he's lucky to have an Eldrige who loves him and is always ready to protect him.

"He saved me when I was sold as a slave." A tear returned to the corner of his eye.

"Juwita, that's terrible! I'm glad Mr. Eldrige can find you soon." Ningrum wiped his tears.

"Anyway, we're finally safe. How are you doing? Last time you had a fever and I couldn't see you again."

"I don't know what happened, it's likely that I fainted for some time before Mr. Eldrige came. But you wouldn't believe me if I told you that Mr. Eldrige has some kind of magic. He easily threw out the criminals by shaking his hand." Ningrum spoke excitedly.

"really? " Ask Princess Juwita while smiling.

"Yes, but it might just be my hallucination because I have a fever. Surely Mr. Eldrige defeated them all." Said Ningrum while reminiscing as he watched Eldrige's action from inside the dark room.

Just then Princess Juwita was immersed in her thoughts and did not realize that Ningrum was watching her in surprise. There was an awkward silence that enveloped the room, Ningrum wanted to say something but he parried it.

Ningrum hesitated for a while, yet he decided to resuscitate Princess Juwita from her reverie.

"What do you think, Juwita? " I cried and made Princess Juwita re-conscious.

"What about Sari?" Finally the question came out of Princess Juwita's mouth.

Ningrum was speechless, the girl was already thinking how to deal with the friend who had stabbed them from behind it. He didn't even dare to ask anyone about it.

"I don't know yet either, Juwita." Answer the girl honestly.

The two girls fell silent again. Sensitive discussions like this still make them feel uncomfortable.

A young girl was practicing archery in a field filled with bluebell flowers. The girl's hair was fluttering in the wind.

At the end there an arrow stuck on the edge of the target face board in the form of a circle. Since then the arrows missed the target and shot in any direction.

But this time the arrow managed to hit the target even though it was not right. A thin smile appeared on his lips.

"That's great, Princess Devi! " A beautiful woman who had been training him gave him a compliment.

"Thank you, Sophie. I hope you're not tired of teaching me." Answer the girl.

"I won't get bored, I'm really excited." Sophie tried to keep the girl from breaking charcoal.

"Let's go on again, Princess! " Sophie again invited Princess Devi to practice.

Princess Devi again tried to slide her arrow towards the target, but unfortunately this time the shot missed again. Sophie kept giving him the passion to train.

Many times Princess Devi stretched her bow and shot at the target, some managed to hit the target face board even though it was not right yet.

"We'd better end our training session this time, it's dusk. Tomorrow we repeat again, after that we will practice horse riding." Sophie takes Princess Devi back to Lucshire Palace.

They walked down the path under giant redwood trees hundreds of years old. Several times they cross paths with fairies living in the peaceful forests of Lucshire.

As they were about to enter the Palace, suddenly from the sky was seen a wisp of white clouds that looked increasingly down. Princess Devi continued to watch him closely.

Sophie looked up, the elf was a bit suspicious looking at the strange-looking clouds. But the longer the cloud approached, the more real it seemed.

"That's Pegasus! " Surprisingly Sophie.

"Pegasus? " Daughter Devi looked at the flying horse in awe.

The stretch of its wings was very broad, its white feathers looked beautifully shiny. The sweep of the wind felt a bit tight as the magic beast got closer and closer. Pegasus finally landed gracefully on the ground surface.

"That's lovely! " Daughter Devi exclaimed with admiration.

Pegasus rolled his wings and stood before them. Some fairies swarmed the place, wondering why Pegasus had come to their place.

"That Pegasus will be your mount, Princess Devi. Because you are the Knight chosen to lead the Royal League against the Daemonie Nation!" Suddenly Queen Malea appeared before them.

Princess Devi looked at Queen Malea as if in disbelief. He's gonna ride a Pegasus? Even in his wildest dreams he never imagined he would be able to ride the glorious magical beast.

Pegasus walked a few steps closer, then suddenly the winged horse bent its front legs so that it seemed to be bowing respectfully.

"You're so smart! " Daughter Devi stroked Pegasus' head and felt her fine feathers. The brilliant white colored horse neighed softly.

"Try riding it!" Said Queen Malea softly.

"Ah, well Your Majesty." The girl looked a bit nervous, but Pegasus was so calm that Princess Devi ventured to climb onto her back. The girl stroked the animal's back and stroked its long mane.

"I'm ready for Pegasus. Please take me around the entire Kingdom of Lucshire and to the top of the Great Solano mountain! " Whisper Princess Devi.

The horse neighed and began to spread its wings. The fairies who stood watching were amazed to see the beauty of the magic creature.

Then with a single stomp the horse flew into space. At first Princess Devi felt fear and hugged Pegasus' neck tightly. But for a long time the girl began to relax her embrace and enjoy the caress of the wind on her face.

Princess Devi was now sitting upright while looking at the earth beneath her. Lucshire's greenish-red forest is now just below his feet.

The Pegasus flew at medium speed to keep up with the novice rider who was now on his back. The horse flapped its wings nimbly and soundlessly like an eagle. Now he takes his rider flying and across the ice-covered summit of Great Solano.

"Wow, this is so much fun! " The girl's cry was blown away along with her hair flying back.

After several passes, Pegasus finally brought Princess Devi back down in the front yard of Lucshire Palace. Their arrival was greeted by applause by the fairies who were still waiting faithfully.

"Thank you, Pegasus! " Daughter Devi hugged Pegasus' neck.

After that Pegasus neighed once, then the beast shot back into space.

That night above the Elfian sky was seen the movement of a flock of passing black birds. The guards watching at the tower immediately reported it to his superiors.

The king of Satria who was also informed immediately observed with binoculars. The man noticed the flock that looked like a flock of ordinary birds only they looked very big.

"Call the fairies and tell them to get ready! " The order of King Satria without distracting him from the flock.

The soldiers also began to prepare in their positions. They felt tense from having to face an unusual enemy.

The fairies assigned by Queen Malea to guard the Elfian Kingdom territory were now preparing all over the guard point. The two elves guarding the Palace immediately formed a magic shield.

But strangely after waiting for quite a while, the herd just flashed and flew away.

"Don't loosen the guard, we must remain vigilant! " The Command of King Satria.

The man then went to meet Faye and the Members of the Royal Council.

"What do you think? Why are they just passing by? "

"I think they might just be watching, or they could be just distracting. "

"Means we should be wary if they are actually deliberately turning our attention to space. It could be that they're infiltrating by land." King Satria tapped on the table with his fingertips.

"Faye, how are the situation reports in other kingdoms? " King Satria then turned to outside problems.

"Today there was a massacre at a town hall of the Nordic Kingdom. The fairies who served there immediately came to the scene, but the perpetrators had already fled. "

"Are they Daemonies who changed into Strix birds? "

"According to reports, the perpetrators are traders who usually sell around there. Yet suddenly they killed those around him randomly. But no one mentioned that they turned into Strix."

"Are those people suddenly insane or are they possessed? "

"It's still under investigation, but certainly the perpetrators are still on the run."

"Is it possible that they are Daemonians? " Tell King Satria again.

"It may be His Majesty. The Daemonie nation can not only change into a Strix. Some of them are excellent imposters. They can transform into whoever they want to be." Faye explained in a calm voice.

"So the initial suspicion that the Daemonies have infiltrated the kingdom should not be ignored. Stay alert to people acting suspicious, especially those who choose to live in beautiful architecture buildings! " King Satria made his conclusion
