It rained since early morning. The atmosphere inside the forest became very dark and foggy. With a grim face Queen Gita sat in her chair while staring out the window.
The woman was disappointed. Because of his plan, today he will come with Arya to look for mushrooms. At least that can keep him a little entertained.
Tok...buttons..tok...!
Queen Gita rushed to open the door as soon as she heard a knock. The woman smiled broadly to welcome her guest.
"Are you ready?" In front of the door a pointy-nosed youth stood by holding a cloth bag.
"I was ready from before! But..." The woman looked disappointedly at the rain.
"I'm sorry, I forgot that you're human!" Arya patted her forehead.
Arya left for a while, then came back with a wide keladi leaf. Arya gave it to Queen Gita as an umbrella.
Their steps flickered, each time stepping on a puddle of water on the path they passed. Arya deliberately made splashes with her feet. The elf looked very happy.
"Why didn't Sekar come?" Queen Gita asked as she walked carefully so as not to slip.
"My chatty sister is being assigned to guard the eggs of Tiana's pet dove."
"Who's that, Tiana?"
"He's a fairy orange garden keeper. Sekar wants to make orange jam. So he'll ask for citrus fruits as a wage to keep the eggs."
Queen Gita touches the Bluebell flowers that grow by the roadside. The bell-shaped petals of the flowers were wet with rain.
"Come, Gita! After turning that corner we'll be there!"
What Arya means by a bend is a path that is already invisible because it is overgrown with bushes. More like a dead end. It was behind a charred old Redwood tree that had been struck by lightning. There were small buds that began to grow on its trunk.
Queen Gita had a bit of trouble going down that road, because there were so many mossy roots that were slippery and prominent. While Arya looks agile jumping over the roots of the tree.
"Look, Gita!" Arya shouted in front.
"Wow, what is it?" Queen Gita was amazed.
In front of them grew thousands of glowing green-colored mushrooms. The mushrooms grow in moist soil and some are attached to rotting tree trunks.
"That's Clorophe mushroom, it tastes really good." Arya started picking the mushrooms and stuffing them in a bag.
Queen Gita also picked the mushrooms. His whole life had never seen such a beautiful mushroom.
Suddenly Arya's body was upright, she heard something. Arya immediately invites Queen Gita to leave the place. But not too far away they went to see a group of hunters walking while slashing the bushes. They numbered five.
Arya codes with her finger for Queen Gita to hide behind a bush of wild berries. While Arya suddenly disappeared, she camouflaged on the tree trunk like a chameleon.
Queen Gita closed her eyes, not daring to move in her hiding place. He hoped they would leave quickly.
There were footsteps approaching and stopping right in front of him. Queen Gita gulped as she looked at the pair of shoes in front of her.
He looked up and looked at a man who was also looking at him. The man looked surprised to see it.
"Who are you? Why are you hiding?" The man crouched down in front of him.
Queen Gita only looked at him with a frightened face. He did not know if this man was a good or bad man.
"Don't be afraid, I'm not a bad guy!" The man smiled showing his black teeth.
The man reached out his hand, but Queen Gita shook her head. The woman then stood up while wagging her dress.
"You're beautiful, are you a fairy?"
"I'm not a fairy."
"Then, what are you doing in this place? Did you know that this place is the territory of the fairy kingdom?"
"I'm looking for mushrooms." Queen Gita showed the mushrooms she had picked.
"Where do you live? Come on, I'll take you home. This area is very dangerous because fairies love to mislead!"
"No, thank you. I'll go home by myself!" Queen Gita looked at the man suspiciously.
His friends looked at Queen Gita wildly. They look like hungry animals.
Queen Gita is threatened. Without saying much, he immediately fled. Seeing the woman running away, the horde immediately chased after her.
Several times Queen Gita slipped, but forced to keep running. Breathing violently. His heart seems to explode.
Behind him, those people were getting closer. They called out to Queen Gita.
It felt like dejavu, he had to be chased back in the forest. Trying to remember the road she had been on, Queen Gita kept running.
But unfortunately, while jumping over the roots of the tree, the woman fell. His knee was pierced by gravel and bleeding. Queen Gita grimaced with pain. He got up and tried to run again even though his knee hurt.
"Where are you going, baby?" A man touched his shoulder while grinning.
"Take me off! Don't you dare touch me!" Queen Gita tries to avoid.
"Well, you're so fierce! I like a fierce woman!" The man laughed mockingly.
Friends arrive. They laughed at the frightened face of Queen Gita.
"Come, baby, I promise to treat you gently!"
"No! Please go!" Tears drenched Queen Gita's cheeks. Body shaking. He walked backwards until he hit the tree trunk.
Those guys are surrounding him. Staring at him like a ferocious beast that wanted to pounce on its prey. One of them approached Queen Gita. His hand touched his hair.
Sssiii...Jem!
"Aakhs!" Suddenly the man screamed.
An arrow stuck on the back of his hand, blood rushing. The arrow was translucent, so his hand was fixed on the tree trunk.
His friends were startled and turned around, looking for the person who had already shot their friend. But had not had time to find the culprit, suddenly dozens of arrows shot fiercely towards them.
Sssiii... Sssiiiing...!
Jamb...Jamb...Jamb...Jamb...!
With great difficulty they tried to avoid. But some arrows managed to stick in some parts of their bodies, making their bodies fall down.
They were screaming in pain. They begged for their lives to be forgiven.
"You've been rushing into Lucshire's forest area and making money!" A voice shouted out loudly.
"Punish us, Fairy!"
"Why should I forgive you?" The voice sounded again.
"We won't dare to enter this forest territory anymore!"
"But you've hurt that woman. You must be punished!" That voice sounded angry.
"Don't!" Shake them.
They then prostrated themselves at the feet of Queen Gita while crying. They asked for forgiveness for hurting him.
"Already! Go ye!" Queen Gita screamed between fear and anger.
"We're going! Fairy, forgive us!"
They ran away leaving their friend stuck in the tree.
"Why don't you go?" Suddenly a beautiful girl with golden brown hair was behind her. His hand holds a bow.
The man looked at the beautiful girl with a horrified feeling. She timidly showed her glued hands. The girl immediately broke the tip of the arrow. The man's hands are free.
With his hand still stuck in the broken arrow, the man thanked the girl. Then he immediately ran away.
After the villain left, the beautiful girl approached Queen Gita who looked still frightened.
"My name is Faye. I will escort His Majesty back to the cottage!"
