Queen Without Crown

Queen Without Crown
Chapter 131 The New House

Queen Malea looked at the man standing before her. The man had calm and deep eyes. There was something different about the man compared to their last meeting.

"You've already noticed it? " The grand woman's soft voice caressed Eldrige's ears.

"Yes. But I'm still not sure. " Said Eldrige frankly.

"That's why I called you here." Queen Malea smiled.

"Have I really become human? " Tanya Eldrige.

"Hmm, almost. "

"Am I going to lose all magic power? "

"You knew it from the beginning. Do you regret it? It's not too late to regret it now." Queen Malea looked at Eldrige.

Eldrige. She already knew the consequences of letting go of her life as a fairy. But he had no idea that living as a human made him so weak.

"I have no regrets. I just haven't gotten used to it. "

"It's okay, Eldrige. Every life is precious. Strength and weakness make no difference. Everything depends on ourselves. "

"Lately I've been hallucinating a lot and can't focus. Is this the effect of the change? " Eldrige asked his complaint.

"You're a medicine expert, Eldrige. Even though you no longer have magic power, you should be able to analyze it."

"So this is a disease? "

"I didn't say it that way. "

"Is it the poison effect? "

"You have to make sure of it yourself, Eldrige." Queen Malea preferred Eldrige to know it for himself.

"I need that bag. " Eldrige pointed to his pouch stacked on top of his whip.

"You can't use it anymore. Don't worry, your 300 years of knowledge is worth more than this bag. " The Queen of Malea answered.

Eldrige nodded. Life as a mortal was already his choice. Even though that life felt so vulnerable and frightening, he would try to live it.

"May I inquire about the whereabouts of Princess Juwita? "

"Hmm, I can be a little kind about that." Queen Malea smiled. The woman then raised both her hands and rubbed the air.

The translucent air now shows the view of the ocean. Seagulls were seen flying on fishing boats. The scene then changed to a busy port.

As Eldrige focused on some details, suddenly the scene disappeared. Queen Malea stopped scrying.

"You're not allowed to peek any further, Eldrige. "

"Does that mean that Princess Juwita is still alive? "

"Can't you feel it? "

"I can only hope. "

"Hope is power to mortal beings. With hope, they will not despair. "

Eldrige nodded and confirmed the words of Queen Malea. What was important to him now was the hope that Princess Juwita was still alive. Even though it takes years to find it won't be a problem.

"I hope you're happy with your new life, Eldrige. "

"Thank you, Your Majesty. " Eldrige bowed.

Shuuut.

Suddenly Eldrige's body seemed to be sucked out. With a slight stagger the man tried to balance his body. His eyes blinked a few times because he was in a dark place.

Hu.hu..

Eldrige's ears catch the sound of an owl. Now he realized that he was in the forest. Right near the ravine he had visited earlier.

Suiit!

Eldrige said to the horse he had tethered.

Hier..

The sound of horses rang out. Eldrige stepped closer to the beast. The brown-haired and white-bladed horse looked happy.

"I'm sorry I left you, man. " His voice while stroking the beast's back before jumping up.

The horse galloped through the darkness of the forest.

It has been a week since their arrival on the coast of the Kingdom of Dewanata, but the group of Tabib Bagio has not been able to get a suitable residence.

"It looks like we should go to another area. Anyway here the air is not suitable for us, a bit too hot." Physician Bagio said at lunch.

They all agreed.

"A worker said that there was a beautiful village on the slopes of Mount Taevas. It's not even too far from the capital city of Dewanata." Bagas said while stirring his food.

"That sounds fun. I want to go there. " Said Ningrum excitedly.

"Well if you want it, we'll go there tomorrow morning. " Said Tabib Bagio.

Everyone is excited and excited about their destination. They pin their big hopes on that.

The next day a hired horse carriage was ready in front of the inn. After raising all the luggage, they immediately set off.

The horse-drawn carriage passes through the winding streets along the shoreline of the beautiful port city of Samandar. Before the train climbed to the top, they passed through the ruins of an ancient temple building by the sea.

Somewhat during the day they stopped by a diner selling seafood. Some locals who visited the place were seen several times stealing glances at them.

"Dad, it looks like our appearance is too conspicuous. " Ningrum complained when he realized those people's views.

"Hmm, then we should change the appearance to make it look more blending." Answer Tabib Bagio calmly.

"Especially Juwita. If your hair and skin were darker, you'd look like a local. " Ningrum turned to face his best friend.

"Do I have to dye my hair and sunbathe. " Task Princess Juwita.

"That could be too. Then your ears stay covered with hair. " Ningrum set Princess Juwita's hair and covered the girl's pointed ears."Perfect! "

"really. You have a typical face of the locals. " Bagas assented.

Princess Juwita smiled despite feeling a bit uncomfortable because she had to change her entire appearance.

They also pass through the palace of Dewanata which looks very awesome. A place that they never even imagined.

Bagas down briefly to shop for clothes and various supplies. He had almost forgotten the time when exploring the extremely crowded market that sold a variety of interesting items.

By late afternoon the train began to leave the capital and began to enter the countryside. The road began to climb and meandered sharply.

"There's an inn down the street. After that there will be no more accommodation. " The coachman said from his seat.

"Then we got off at the inn. " Said Tabib Bagio.

They reached the inn when the sky was completely dark. Thankfully, there was an empty room. They immediately rented a room, while the coachman immediately left after getting paid.

*****

"Where are you going? " Ask the innkeeper woman as she serves breakfast.

"We want to live in the area around here. We plan to buy a house. Would you suggest a good place for us?"

"What's your job? "

"I am a physician. "

"Above there was a village called Kulm. The place is so beautiful. You can even see the sea from there. And more importantly, the forest near the village was rich with medicinal plants."

"We'd love to go there. "

"It just so happened that one of my relatives lived in the village. He once said there was someone who wanted to sell his house."

"Well, what a coincidence. " Said Tabib Bagio happily.

Then the innkeeper woman named Bu Maya immediately told one of his employees to take the group to the village of Kulm using his horse carriage. Even the woman refused to be paid for her services.

"It looks like the people of this area are fine. " Said Ningrum.

"Are you not from this area? " Ask the innkeeper who was riding a horse carriage.

"true." Answer Tabib Bagio.

"You won't regret moving here. Everyone here is so good. " Said the officer.

The horse-drawn carriage continued to walk uphill through the green forest and valley. Every now and then they pass by the friendly villagers.

"We have arrived. " The innkeeper. The man then went down and knocked on the door of a typical country house.

"What are you doing so early in the morning, Bima? " A middle-aged woman came out. His hands were busy with his long hair. Deftly he nudged it over his nape.

"Someone wants to buy a house." Bima said.

She looked at the people sitting in the car. His head then nodded. The woman then went back into her house.

"He is Mrs Ratih, sister-in-law of Ms. Maya. He will show you the house that will be sold. " Bima, who had climbed back up onto the train, explained to the group.

Shortly thereafter, Mrs Ratih came out. The woman has changed clothes. He then got on the train and sat down next to Bima.

"I'll show you the place. Guaranteed you will like it. " Said the woman cheerfully.

"I hope so, Madam. " Said Tabib Bagio politely.

"You don't seem to be from here? " Said Bu Ratih with a body shaken because the horse carriage passed through a steep road.

"Yes, Madam."

"Ah, call me Coach Ma'am. " The woman seemed to blush. "Our tug to Mr. Kama's house. " Mother Ratih looked at Bima.

"Oh, so Mr. Kama's house wants to be sold? "

"really. Mr. Kama's son is now successful in the city, so he asks his father to move to the city."

Their conversation-filled journey took about 20 minutes. Bima stopped the horse carriage in front of a large house that was slightly into the forest.

They all came down. Madam Ratih opened the door with the key she was carrying. The woman opened the windows there so that air and sunlight could enter.

"How do you like this house? " Tanya Bu Ratih when they finished looking around.

"This house is great, we love it." Tabib Bagio saw his children and Princess Juwita loved the house.

"The price I just mentioned includes all the furniture here. Oh yes, you can add more buildings because the remaining land is still very large. "

"I'm lucky to find this place." The Physician Bagio.

"Then have we agreed? " Task Mrs Ratih.

"Agreed."

"I'm very happy to do business with you, sir. Later in the day my letters will be handed over. " Said Mrs Ratih.

After Bu Ratih left with Bima, they immediately cleared the place. They each get a room they like because the house has many rooms.

"We have to prepare this place so that we can immediately open the treatment hall." The Physician Bagio.

They all worked hard to fix the house. They arrange the rooms that will be used for the practice of medicine.

"Finally finished too. " Said Ningrum while stretching his back.

"Even though I'm tired but this is so much fun. " Daughter Juwita chimed.

"Juwita, tonight I'll dye your hair. You're all right, right? " Ningrum was a bit worried about his friend.

Princess Juwita shook her head, "I'm fine. "

As per their agreement, that night Ningrum dyed Princess Juwita's hair with thisai bought by Bagas in the capital. They silenced the dye overnight and the next day Princess Juwita just washed it while bathing.

"Well, you look so different. " Ningrum was stunned to see the girl's change.

"Is ugly? " Task Princess Juwita a little worried. Her silvery hair was now jet black.

"No, you're still beautiful. It's just that you look like everyone else. " Said Ningrum.

"Is that not our goal?" Bagas suddenly commented. "You fit that look, Juwita. "

"Thank you, Brother. " The girl smiled with relief.

"From now on, we'll be one family. Let no one know that we have no blood relation. " Sheer Bagio looked at Princess Juwita. "From now on call me Dad. "

"Dad."
