Queen Without Crown

Queen Without Crown
Chapter 121 The Betrayal

The capital of Alsatia is now in a precarious state. Many of its residents have fled. As well as the situation in the palace, many servants in the palace were frightened and decided to leave the palace. The magnificent building now looks deserted because of the abandonment of some of its residents.

That morning Princess Juwita prepared her own needs because the waiter who used to serve her had to help the chef who left all her assistants behind.

At breakfast, there is only a simple menu available at the table.

"I hope you understand the current situation and enjoy a potluck meal." Queen Akemi said as she looked at her children and two nephews.

"This meal has been quite satisfying, Auntie." Replied Princess Juwita politely.

"Thank God you like it." Queen Akemi.

Prince Ryota just kept quiet while stirring his food. This was the worst dish he had ever eaten. Even the dishes at his school were much better than this dish.

But the two twin boys sitting next to each other actually looked very fond of their food. The two greedily chewed on the buttered wheat bread.

Praang!

The sound of broken glass made them silent. Prince Ryota immediately came out and saw the broken window glass, the shale spreading around the floor. The flakes glittered like jewels because of the sunlight.

"What's this about? " Ask some of the servants who were huddled there.

"The palace was attacked, Prince. " Suddenly Miss Sekar came.

"attacked? "

"The Daemonie army has entered the palace. I'm going to see Queen Akemi. " The woman rushed into the dining room to inform Queen Akemi.

As Prince Ryota walked into the dining room, a look of dismay appeared on the faces of everyone there.

"Ryota, prepare. We're leaving soon. " Said Queen Akemi.

"Would you leave, I'd stay here with the soldiers. "

"But Ryota! "

"Auntie, Uncle told me to protect you. I will not run away from this palace. "

"Prince Ryota, you'd better go. The Daemonies are not easy opponents. They are not human. " Said Miss Sekar.

"I'm not an easy opponent either. " Prince Ryota smiled.

A man who was a confidante of King Sagar came and took them to a room. The room was dusty and worn out. There was a simple bed next to which was a small table and an old wooden cabinet on the side of the room.

The Royal staff twisted the wood at the end of the bed and caused the floor under the bed to shift.

"What'sthis? " Task Queen Akemi in amazement.

Below there is an open square hole with a staircase leading down. The staff immediately lit the candle he had taken from the desk drawer.

"Let's come with me. " The man leads the way. He went down into that dark hole.

Drak. drak..

Wooden stairs crackling every step of the way. At the end of the stairs is a dark hallway.

"I can only drive here. May Your Majesty take care of yourself. "

"Where is this passage going? "

"This passageway ends in a country house near Masserjarvi meadow. Your Majesty can stay there for a while. If it's safe, we'll pick you back up. "

The man left them and went up again. The door under the bed was closed.

"Mom, I'm scared. " The voice of the little girl echoed.

"Don't be afraid, I'll always take care of you. "

"Auntie, let me walk ahead." Princess Juwita now walked forward. In the darkness there was a monster waiting for them.

Their feet were now getting tired and no longer knew how long they had been walking but the passage seemed endless.

"Mom, I'm thirsty. " Princess Wulan began to whine.

"Patience, Honey. We'll be there soon."

"Auntie, how about we take a break? " Task Princess Juwita.

"Okay, we'll take a break."

They sat on the cold, damp floor. Princess Juwita felt the floor next to her and her hands were wet. The girl's hand continued to palpate and felt a puddle of water near the wall.

Princess Juwita then stood up and walked down the water on the wall. Suddenly his hand felt a small burst from a small hole. The girl immediately cupped her hands and placed them under the hole. When his palm was full of water, he immediately came to Princess Wulan.

"Wulan, drink! "

The little girl gulped water from the palm of Princess Juwita's hand greedily. It felt so good because his throat was dry.

After Princess Wulan drank, Princess Juwita again cupped water and this time gave it to Prince Lintang.

Queen Akemi stood up and took the water. The three of them drank until they were satisfied.

They kept walking and stopped to rest. After stopping for the third time, suddenly in front of them there was a step of stairs up. Carefully they walked and finally they reached the end of the stairs. There's a hinge above them

With all her might the girl tried to pull him.

Cteks.

Eventually the hinge was pulled.

Princess Juwita's hand slowly pulled to shift the rather heavy iron door as it rusted. Queen Akemi helps her niece. Finally, after much effort, the door opened.

Wuuushis..

A cold wind came from above. Princess Juwita's head came out of the door hole. In front of him the meadow looks golden in color with twilight light. Princess Juwita stepped up.

"Auntie, why isn't there a house? " Task Princess Juwita in confusion.

Queen Akemi looked at the meadow as far as the eye could see. She also wondered why there was no home like her husband's confidant staff said.

"Tonight we had to sleep in that hole." Said Queen Akemi.

"But, what if the Daemonies were chasing? "

"Mom, I'm hungry. " She's Princess Wulan. The little girl's face looked pale.

"You guys wait here first, okay? Brother will find food. " Daughter Juwita bowed, aligning her body with the two boys.

"Em." Princess Wulan and Prince Lintang nodded simultaneously.

"Be careful, Juwita! " Said Queen Akemi.

Princess Juwita walked across the thick grass. His eyes were moving in all directions. After some time, in the distance there is a reflection of the twilight sunlight that is rather blinding.

"Is that a river? " Task Princess Juwita in your heart.

The girl half ran towards that place. He is now on the edge of a well. The water looks calm.

"Is there a fish? If there is, how do you catch it? "

With courage he took off his shoes on the edge and began to step into the lake. In the dimness of the twilight, he could not see anything in the water.

"Oh my God, help me. Give me fish to eat. " The girl muttered.

Crats.

Suddenly a fish jumped to the edge. The fish floundered in the grass. Princess Juwita immediately caught the fish though with great difficulty because the body of the fish was very slippery.

"Thank God, but this fish was only eaten by my two little cousins. If only there was another one that was a little big to me and my aunt. " Said Princess Juwita again.

Crats.

A fish jumped again from the lake. This time the fish fell right in front of the girl's feet, as if someone had deliberately thrown it.

Princess Juwita was confused. If a fish suddenly jumped at him once, it might be a coincidence. But not for the second time, it was very suspicious.

However Princess Juwita still took the fish even though her heart hesitated.

"Thank you, whoever you are! " Said the girl in a loud voice, then she rushed back before the last ray of sun disappeared at the end of the horizon.

Alsatian forces under King Sagar continued to be pushed. The great Elephas trampled upon the soldiers like ants.

King Sagar who has not recovered from his wounds is getting weaker. Several new wounds were now adorning his body.

"Your Majesty better stand down, just let General Ito take the lead." A personal bodyguard of the king named Darya had the body of the king that almost collapsed.

"But, the soldiers need me on the front lines. "

"We need a living king. We cannot survive if His Majesty is gone. "

"Well, Darya. Someday I will die. It makes no difference today or tomorrow."

"Your Majesty! " Darya cried hearing the words of her king.

Ssiin.. Jamb.

Suddenly an arrow pierced through King Sagar's chest. The man's mouth immediately vomited blood and splashed onto Darya's body.

Darya's eyes widened as soon as she saw an arrow stuck in the chest of her king. It was an arrow belonging to the army of the Alsatian Kingdom. The man's head turned towards the direction the arrow had come from. He was stunned when he realized who had tried to kill his king.

"Traitor! " His fist.

But before the man could do anything, the man again aimed at his arrows and this time the target was Darya.

Darya's body is shaky. He was no longer strong enough to hold his body upright, finally he collapsed with King Sagar who was still leaning on his body.

"The king is dead. " A smile expands on the killer's face.
