My Vampire System
The MVS Chapter 38

At first, Loop was confused by the words that came out of Quinn's mouth. There were two possible reasons he could act like this. Either Quinn was just pretending not to know or when Brandon went to the hospital, he was still alive at the time. It means Quinn thought Brandon was alive after attacking him.

“Look, I promise to keep your secret, I know you attacked Fei because of what happened in the weapon hall, it must be you. Who else would attack him and have a glove like you? So you decided to go after Brandon next after taking me down. “Fei explained. “Look, I just want to continue living in school as usual, I don't want any drama. I don't know why you're hiding behind your fake power level but please, I just don't want to get involved. “

Quinn tried her best to process the information she had just been told. A student has died. To be honest, he was not quite sure what the process or punishment for the death of a student was and at the same time, he did not want to know about it.

If the other students learned about the attack on Fei and Brandon, they would naturally assume that Quinn wanted revenge. However, one thing that made them doubtful, was the fact that he was only a level 1 student.

Right now, only Loop knows his secret, so it's no wonder Loop is afraid of him. With all this information, for now, Quinn felt it was best to play along.

“You don't need to worry.” Quinn said, “As you said, you only protect your friends and you don't really do anything to hurt me during battle class. As long as you stay out of the way, I will still be yours. “

“Thank you,” Loop said as he bowed and left the room.

After Loop left, there was a thought left in Quinn's mind. Who killed Brandon? Does anyone at school have a grudge against him? They had only been in school for a few days and the school had deliberately made sure no one knew each other before sending them here.

It's hard for Quinn to find a suspect, all she knows about Brandon is what happened in the fighting class. If a small person like him could plan such an attack, then perhaps he had already made many enemies.

After finishing his lecture, Quinn headed to the cafeteria to meet with two of his other roommates but when he entered the canteen. Not to see Vorden and Peter sitting together as usual. Vorden sat alone and there was no sign of Peter.

Quinn quickly picked up her food and decided to sit next to Vorden.

“Hey, aren't you worried about second year students coming to attack you?” Vorden.

“From the looks of it people will continue to disturb us, so we should live as we wish.” Quinn replied, “Hey, so where is Peter, didn't you two come here together?”

“You searched in the wrong place,” Vorden said while pointing to a different part of the canteen.

Both sit in the low-level section where level 1 and two usually sit. This is where Peter usually comes to join them as well. But the direction Vorden pointed to was the higher level tables, the level 4 and 5 tables and the one sitting next to him was Peter.

“What is he doing there? Are they after him?” Quinn asked.

As the two watched Peter get along with the others, it seemed like he was familiar with them. He was not asked to take food or carry their items such as lower levels of strength in other groups.

“Well maybe we should keep an eye on them for now, it looks like he's not in trouble and we can always ask him later.”

It was when Quinn and Vorden were busy eating their food at their table. Food trays were slammed.

“I hope you two don't mind but I came to join you,” Layla said as she sat down.

As soon as Layla sat in her chair, she could not stop staring at Vorden and the same was true for her. In the middle of the two is Quinn. He could feel the heat and tension in the air with the two of them and he had no idea what was happening.

“So I saw the hole in your leg heal well,” Layla said

Vorden's face began to twitch slightly.

“Hahaha, what are you talking about, sorry my name is Vorden, I can't believe we ever met,” Vorden said as she pulled her hand to shake.

“You're crazy if you thought I'd shake your hand and you'd just pretend nothing happened, right?” Layla turned to Quinn. “Quinn, can you see this guy hasn't gone crazy?”

“Don't call me crazy,” said Vorden slowly uttering each word.

“Hey, hey, I think you two need to calm down,” said Quinn feeling at any moment the two will clash in the canteen. “I don't even know what happened between the two of you, please explain?”

“This crazy boy attacked me when I went to your room last night, look,” Layla said as she lowered her uniform slightly to reveal the red marks on her neck. “I keep telling you Quinn, she's dangerous, leave her.”

Vorden looked trembling at this moment but it was hard to tell whether it was due to anger or something else.

“Said don't call me Gila” And again like last time. Vorden slowly uttered each word, one at a time.
