The MVS Chapter 16
Classes for the day were finally finished, as it was the first day most classes were just introductions and about what they would learn during their time at school.
Peter and Quinn did their best to avoid most of the other students on that day and it seemed like after everything they went through, they would not get in trouble again.
After class, it's time to go to dinner. Quinn still felt hungry in her stomach, so she wanted to have dinner more than usual. This time, Quinn and Peter both sat alone at the table in the low-level area. Then Peter began to look around the room as if he was trying to see someone.
“I don't see Vorden anywhere, do you think she's okay?” Ask Peter.
Quinn then lurks around the room and she also can't see Vorden in the canteen.
“I won't worry too much about that, trust me when I say this but she is much safer than us in this school.”
The two continued to eat and after they finished dinner decided to return to their dorm room. To their surprise, Vorden was already in the dorm room alone lying on her bed.
As the two of them closed the door behind them, Vorden raised his head and immediately smiled at Peter and Quinn.
“Hey, I've been waiting for you two now,” Vorden said as she got out of bed. “I want to apologize in advance, I'm not angry at you guys but only at this whole situation.”
When Vorden got out of bed, Quinn saw a slight mark on the side of Vorden's face. It was a little red and a little swollen.
“What happened to your face?” Ask Peter.
“Oh, this?” Vorden said as he touched the mark. “I got into small fights myself but don't worry I didn't lose. You don't have to worry about me, I'm strong.”
Then suddenly, a loud snarling sound was heard inside the room. Peter and Vorden immediately looked towards Quinn whose face was flushed red.
“Sorry, I guess I'm still hungry after dinner,” Quinn said with a nervous laugh.
“Why don't you take something from the convenience store, it's not too far away?” Vorden.
Quinn looked at his watch and realized even if he went to the convenience store to pick up something, he would not be able to buy anything since he had no credit but even before he could say anything, Vorden had come. and tapped his watch onto Quinn's watch.
“Transfer ten credits successfully” Notification reads.
“Don't say anything and grab something,” Vorden said with a smile.
“Thank you.”
With that Quinn left Peter and Vorden alone while Quinn rushed to the convenience store. The convenience store is not too far from the military school. If you go out, it will take about 20 minutes.
In front of the school was a large gate that had two guards standing at the entrance at all times, only certain students, teachers, and military personnel were allowed into the school grounds. So when exiting students are required to show their watches to the guard and the same when entering again.
He decided to run faster finally getting to the convenience store in 7 minutes.
“I think I did about a kilometer in less than five minutes, and I wasn't even out of breath,” thought Quinn.
The statistic given to him was the body of an athlete, it was not the same weak body he had before but at the same time, it was not a supernatural body that surpassed human limits.
Another thing he noticed while running at night, he could see everything very clearly. Even when there were no street lights, the moon seemed to brighten things up. Some kind of night vision.

“I know, I don't need a system to tell me when I'm hungry.”
When Quinn entered the convenience store, she went and picked up some of her favorite snacks. Some late-night ice cream and potato chips. It was then that he suddenly saw Rylee and her friends in the same store in another hallway.
Quinn ducked silently and waited for them to finish shopping before doing anything else.
“How lucky, I thought I should track him, but it looks like he came to me.”
As Quinn hides, she realizes that she is in the middle of the mask section. There was one particular mask that stood out to him. It was a completely black mask that covered the top of the face so that his mouth could be seen. Across the mask was a splash of blood on it.
“Agot scary.”
As soon as Rylee and the others left the store, Quinn decided to take the mask and snacks and put them on the cashier's desk.
Layla who was also in the store noticed the mask Quinn had bought.
“What, it's not Halloween yet, what did he do buy such a mask?” he thinks .
Layla decides to continue following Quinn while Quinn is busy following Rylee and her friends.
“Hey, we will make some obstacles in the park, you want to join?” One of the boys asked.
“Well, you know my ability is useless to play such a game.” Rylee replied, “I think it hurts just to go back and wait at the school gate, see if there is any more trash I need some more credits .”
The other two boys looked at each other, they knew what they were doing was wrong but they only did it because they themselves did not want to be defeated by a higher level of strength. Where it seemed like Rylee was starting to get a bit of pleasure from oppressing those weaker than her.
Rylee started back to school and eventually reached the small park on the way home. Areas that are completely empty of people and have very little light. There were also many trees for Quinn to hide.
“It's show time,” Quinn said as she put a mask on her face.
