The MVS Chapter 37
When Quinn arrives back in her dorm room, she suspects that neither Vorden nor Peter seem to be there.
“It's almost curfew, what do they do until late at night?”
It was a shame because Quinn had hoped to ask Peter or Vorden what exactly happened between them and Layla but because it was getting late and Quinn was running out of energy, he decided to go to bed earlier than the others.
And as soon as his body hit the bed, he came out in an instant, he didn't even change his clothes and he just lay on it like a drunk old man.
Moments later and Peter is the first to return to the dorm room.
He slowly entered the room and did not even acknowledge the fact that Quinn had returned. He walked slowly to his bed and placed a blanket over his head, trembling slightly.
Then as soon as the Vorden arrived. He could see a bulge wrapped under the bedsheet on Peter's bed, and Vorden realized Quinn was sleeping.
As Vorden looked at Quinn's peaceful face, she smiled.
“Looks like you're fine,” Vorden whispered to himself. “I'm sorry . “
Each of them faced their own problems, but none of them knew the other. With many things on their minds and no one to share, they had to sleep with their demons that night.
When Quinn wakes up, she is greeted with her usual morning message.

Quinn was satisfied with the growth of his strength, however, he could not say the same about his leveling speed. He was currently only level three and had two skills that he could use. Unlike other abilities where they give you control over something, Quinn skills are one type of action. IF Quinn wanted to be on a level playing field with higher level ability users then Quinn would need more skill.
After fighting with Loop yesterday, Quinn realized that she needed some things. The first is that he has to get better at fighting. Although his skills were fine with defeating low levels so far, he could not say the same when it came to opponents who knew how to fight.
Only because of Quinn's blood bank yesterday could he win the fight and fight recklessly. This meant that he needed to learn some empty-handed battle skills. The second thing was that he could not go out against the students every day.
Yesterday was a close call and he still doesn't know if Loop knew it was him or not the one attacking. If he wanted to keep this a secret, he would have to limit his activities at night. Or become strong enough that he doesn't have to rely on gloves which are dead gifts.
It makes him have a new purpose. When checking the system, Quinn remembered that there was a store function that would only open at level 10. This is now Quinn's new target, he doesn't know what the details of the store are, but so far the system hasn't let him down.
When Vorden woke up, she acted like she always did in front of Quinn.
“Hey, can you sleep well?” Vorden asked, “When I logged in yesterday, you were completely knocked out.”
“Yes, I was very tired yesterday after battle class.”
“I heard you had an accident, is everything okay?” Vorden asked.
“As you can see, I have recovered completely, you don't need to worry about me.”
“Hey, really, Quinn if you're bullied or hurt, just tell me. I know we said not to help each other so that second-year students wouldn't get involved but I can handle them don't worry. “
Not wanting to spoil the pleasant atmosphere between the two of them, Quinn decided that she would ask Peter once the two of them were alone about what happened. Moreover, if he were to ask Vorden, there was a chance that he would get a one-sided view of the event.
When Peter wakes up, Vorden greets him too, but Peter only replies to a few words. Now even Peter is acting weird, Quinn thought.
“Is everything okay Peter?” Quinn asked
“Huh, Yeah, I'm fine,” Peter replied as he wore a new uniform, a little spaced.
The three of them then started heading to the cafeteria and as they walked through the hallway. Quinn had seen someone she didn't want to see in the morning, it was Loop.
But as the two of them looked at each other, Loop immediately began to sweat and her hands trembled uncontrollably. As the two walked side by side, Loop stopped and called out to Quinn.
“Hey, is it okay to talk to you in private?” Loop asked.
Quinn immediately began to look around to see if there were any Loop friends nearby. If Loop called out to him, it was most likely because he knew that Quinn was the one who attacked him and Fei.
Quinn had put this into his calculations so that they might gather to attack him, but he did not think anything would happen this fast. However, when he looked around, there were no Brandon or even Fei sites nearby.
With so many students surrounding them, Quinn felt it was impossible for Loop to try anything here, and even if he did, he could at least defend himself without denouncing his skills.
“Hey, is everything okay?” Vorden said in a stern voice that did not break eye contact with Loop.
“Yes it's okay, Vorden, you two please I'll catch up with you in a moment.”
As Vorden and Peter were leaving, Vorden could not help but stare back to where Quinn was.
The two of them then walked to the nearest classroom at the end of the hallway towards the canteen. It is breakfast time so classes have not started yet and classrooms are empty. Of course, Quinn made sure to stay near the door in case the Loop started attacking. That way he could run to the hall where the other students were.
Loop stood there nervously and agitatedly, as if she was struggling to get her words out, until she finally spoke.
“Sorry about yesterday,” Loop said while bowing. “I know we hurt you during practice and you might come back at us for revenge but please forgive me.”
Quinn was speechless, this was unexpected and he had no idea what was going on.
“I promise I won't tell anyone about your secret, please whatever you do, let me live. I won't bother you anymore and no one will know whatever happens.”
Although Quinn had suspicions that this was all just acting. It looks like the Loop is genuine, whether it is or he is the best actor in the world. But what Quinn doesn't understand is what really happened so Loop acts like this.
“Thank you for keeping my secret, besides I don't really have a grudge against you. Even though your friends acted on me, you did nothing. You're just trying to help your friends.” Quinn.
“Thank you, thank you for saving me,” Loop said. “I promise if you need something, I'll help you, I just don't want what happened to Brandon to happen to me.”
“Brandon?” Quin said confusedly, “What happened to Brandon?”
