The MVS Chapter 33

For a moment, Quinn had forgotten about the world with abilities. A world where people don't try to rise from each other, just for what sake? Prides.

He looked down and could see two blades stuck in his stomach, blood dripping from his blade. Fei had released his blade and took a step back, with his mouth wide open, acting as if everything that happened was an accident.

But Quinn didn't buy it and she knew what had just happened. As he looked around, he managed to catch a smile on Brandon's face. Quinn then grabbed half the hilt from both of his blades and used his power to sever the tip.

With the other half of the blade still in his stomach, he started walking towards Fei.

“So, you want to play the game then.” Quinn said, “Then let's play some games, you've taken some of my blood, so it's only natural that I take some of your blood.”

When Fei heard these words, he could not help but stay away from Quinn. Something was different, his eyes were glazed.

“Why is my body shaking, he is only a level one user, calm down.”

Then when Quinn was only a few feet away, he swung his clawed hands.

“Blood swi..”

But before Quinn could finish using his skill, his hand had been thrown by the sword.

“Enough, stop now,” Leo said as he pointed his sword towards Quinn. “Two errors don't make it right . “

Just then, two military men appeared out of nowhere standing by Quinn's side.

“Take him to the doctor's office and make sure he is treated,” Leo said.

Although Layla was worried that Quinn would get hurt, it was not her main concern. It seemed like from the wounds on Quinn's body he had lost a lot of blood. Even if a vampire can heal at a supernatural speed, that energy must come from somewhere and will soon need to be replaced.

After holding both of Quinn's arms, after a few seconds, Quinn was moved right outside the doctor's office.

“Please rest after you recover.” One of the men said before teleporting once more.

After checking that the men had disappeared, Quinn decided to head to the nearest bathroom on the same floor. Almost all of the students were in battle class at the moment so the hall was empty. The reason why Quinn decided to go to the bathroom instead of the doctor's office was because she could already feel her body starting to recover.

The status screen also confirmed that fact.

Just like before as soon as Quinn came out of the battle, his body began to heal very quickly. Quinn looked down and it seemed like his body had healed most of the wounds. However, it was unable to cure the area where the blade was stuck.

“It will hurt.”

Fortunately Quinn was still wearing gloves so he did not need to take the sword with his bare hands.

“1, 2, 3” He then pulls his bar as fast as he can in one action. The pain was quick and sharp and he did all he could to hold his screams.

Eventually the wound around his stomach slowly began to heal until he suddenly got a new message.

Quinn looked at the message and tried to figure out what happened. When Quinn did her test, she found that her body needed to consume blood every two days. But this message has surfaced even though Quinn just consumed Layla's blood this morning, it hasn't reached its deadline yet.

Then Quinn thought back to how blood could heal her health. If it worked in the same way then it meant that his body was using blood as energy to heal itself. Once this energy was depleted within his body then he was no longer able to heal and once again had to consume blood.

Quinn felt hungry in her stomach and began to look at herself in the mirror, her clothes were covered in blood and she was in a bit of pain, but she was still smiling. It was then that Quinn also realized that her two upper teeth had grown slightly. Unlike the last time when she panicked this time, she felt calm.

He's used to taking blood and he already knows who the next target is tonight.

The hunger this time was bearable, probably because Quinn was not in a critical condition. After returning to her dorm room, Quinn threw her bloody clothes on the floor and changed her clothes in a different uniform.

While Quinn was busy changing clothes, she heard the voices of two students talking as they walked down the corridor.

“Why am I also expelled, you are the only one using the ability?” Fei complained.

“Hey, you were fine with his plan when I told you about it earlier, why did you become so upset now?” Brandon.

“You are the one who dragged me into it all because you lost to level one, embarrassing.” Fei chuckled.

Just then, Brandon slammed Fei against the corridor wall and held his collar.

Fei did not say anything until Brandon finally removed his collar. It was then that Fei decided to walk in the opposite direction of the dorm room.

“I think we are friends of Brandon, not just some that you have less control over because I am a lower level than you.”

Then as Brandon entered his dorm room, he slammed the door behind him.

“Oh, lover's quarrel yes, great,” said Quinn, as she grabbed his back and came out to follow Fei.

The combat class had finished and the sun was starting to set. With that, the student invasion is now heading back to their dorm room and that includes Peter and Vorden. As the two of them entered the room, Vorden's eyes widened as she looked at something.

“What is it, Quinn's clothes?” Peter said as he lifted them off the ground. “They are covered in blood, did he get hurt during training.”

Vorden's entire body trembled at the sight of blood.

“What happened to him,” thought Vorden, “Did second graders also target him, or did something happen in training?”

“I told you we should keep an eye on him.”

“We should have killed those second years when we had the chance.”

“Stop!” Vorden said out loud.

“Hah, Vorden are you okay?” Ask Peter.

But without saying anything more, Vorden opened the door to look for Quinn but when she did, Layla stood there with her hands near the door as if she was just about to knock.

“Oh, is Quinn here?” Layla.

But in the next second Vorden pulls Layla's hand and drags her in and slams the door behind her. Vorden then immediately pushed Layla through the door and stuck her arm around her neck.

“Tell me what happened with Quinn now!”
