The MVS Chapter 17

Quinn continued to follow Rylee into the forest until she finally reached the park. Outside it is mostly dark and the only visible light in the area comes from the moon or a single street light.

After checking if anyone was around, Quinn decided it was time to act and put on her mask.

“Even if he sees me now, he won't know who to go back to to for revenge.”

Rylee was currently examining the information on his watch, a shining light indicating he had a total of 80 credits.

“I'm a genius, why didn't I do this earlier.” Rylee said, "i have more than enough to pay Dan and keep it to myself, as long as I stay on the good side of Dan, no one will try to attack me. “

As soon as Rylee finished his thinking, he felt a huge impact on his right side.

By then Quinn had come out of the trees and performed a kick that caused Rylee to stumble to the ground. When Rylee looked up, all he could see was a student wearing a hideous mask, with a splash of blood on the front.

“What the hell is this, who are you?” Rylee yells.

Of course, Quinn would not answer and wanted to finish the fight quickly. He ran to Rylee and threw another kick, this time even though Rylee was ready and raised his hand to block the kick.

However, when Quinn's foot hit Rylee's hand, it felt like she was kicking a solid rock.

“ADUH!” Quinn said as she quickly jumped back to check her legs.

He lifted his pants and saw that his leg was severely injured, it seemed like his bones were even slightly bent.

“What?” Rylee thought as he watched his attacker retreat. Then Rylee looked at his attacker's watch, which lit up brightly in the darkness and displayed the number one.

Rylee started laughing.

“I understand now, you may be one of the students I received his credit for before, And I guess you think you can take revenge.”

Quinn then quickly used his inspect skill on his opponent.

“Sial, no wonder my legs feel like they hit a rock.”

Although Quinn's surprise attack was unsuccessful, he still felt he could win this fight.

Quinn attacked once more this time while clenching his fists. The attack was faster than Rylee had expected and he had no time to use his hardening skill and he received a punch right in the face.

“Damn , he broke my teeth, how hard is this kid punching?” Rylee thought.

Quinn threw another punch with his other hand but Rylee had expected this and hardened his face just in time. When Quinn's fist hit Rylee's face, he once again felt like he was hitting a rock.

Quinn then stepped back causing a distance between the two.

“One more time, what should I do if he keeps hardening his body?”

Then a thought came to Quinn's mind. If Rylee was able to harden his body, why didn't he continue to harden all the time? If he did then Quinn's first attack wouldn't have worked.

Does this mean that Rylee is only able to harden one part of her body at a time? It was just a theory but Quinn had nothing to lose and this gave him a plan.

Quinn advanced towards Rylee once more while shouting.

Rylee then hardened his face again and this time was ready, but at the last second Quinn turned his punch into a kick in the stomach, causing Rylee to bend.

“Successful.”

Then Quinn knelt on Rylee's stomach again, but at the last second stopped and punched the back of Rylee's head. Now Rylee was lying on the ground defenseless. Ray delivers one quick strike to the back of his head and Rylee is knocked out.

“Do you really think I don't know your weakness ?” Quinn.

“Do I want to level up? Why bother asking.” Think Quinn.

Suddenly, Quinn felt a piercing pain in his heart, it started beating faster than it had ever been before. Blood began to flow through his veins throughout his body. The pain was so intense that Quinn fell to his knees, but he did his best to hold back the screams, afraid that he would scare people.

The pain continued all over his body, his broken hand began to heal along with his leg, and then a sharp piercing pain could be felt in his teeth. The pain continued for five minutes until it finally stopped.

[Safe, you managed to evolve ]

Quinn starred in the words that the system gave her but it made no sense to her, she had never heard the term Half-ling before. Then more messages started to pop up.

Blood swipe: A skill that has a range of 5 meters. This will draw a red line of energy from the user's hand. To use this skill, the user must use his own blood which causes - 1HP per Blood swipe.

Before Quinn had time to check the changes to her stats, another message had emerged which was the most shocking of them.

[You can no longer suppress the need for blood ]

[Your HP will decrease - 1HP every hour until you consume Human Blood ]
