Although Quinn had no idea what was going on, just from looking at Peter's face, she knew that it was serious. Quinn looked back to see Layla lying there still asleep.
It was important for Quinn to be there when Layla woke up. He had to convince her not to tell anyone her secret but now it seemed like Vorden was in trouble.
Quinn then thought back to the events in the canteen. When Quinn is in trouble, Vorden steps in to help her.
Although there might not be much Quinn could do to help, she would not know if she did not try.
What kind of person would he be if he couldn't help Vorden now?
“Alright, come on,” says Quinn. “Come fast.”
The two quickly ran through the passageway until they finally reached the meeting hall. It was currently a large empty hall with a marble floor and stage in front. So far it has not been used for anything but it is an area where the students will be summoned if they are going to hold a meeting.
When the two of them entered the meeting hall, there were already many students there who were muttering about the commotion.
“Do you see what happens "
“Yes, that guy's a monster how can he do that?”
“Luckily second year students are here to stop it.”
The meeting hall was completely destroyed. Craters and debris have formed in some parts of the walls and soil. Scars of burns and other things were also there and there was even blood. Something Quinn could smell once she entered the room.
“What happened here?” Quinn asked, “Where is Vorden?”
Obviously, a fight had occurred here and Quinn was afraid of the worst.
“I don't know,” replied Peter. “I and Vorden were busy training the earth skills together, that's when a group of second graders I've never seen before came up to us asking for Vorden. Vorden told me not to worry but of course, I was worried so I followed them. It was then that I saw them taking him to the meeting hall but the two students stood guard and did not allow me to enter. I don't know what to do, so that's when I came looking for you. “
Quinn and Peter then go around asking the students what happened but when they did, the students seemed to avoid the question or ignore them altogether, it was as if they were told not to tell anyone what they had seen.
Peter continued to ask the students who were still in the hall about what had happened. Quinn already knew that they wouldn't give him any more answers, so he started doing some checks himself.
The smell of iron in the room was thicker than anything to Quinn and it led him to an area where dried blood could be seen on the floor.
“Inspect.”
Name: Vorden Blade
Race: Human
Blood type: By
Quinn began to examine the battle scenes and found more traces of blood but when he used the skill inspect on them, it would not show him any information whatsoever. It will only show [ ????? ]
“Do I have to use the inspect skill on them directly?” Quinn thought.
By then, Peter had finished questioning everyone and returned to Quinn.
“No; no one seems to want to talk,” Peter said.
“Peter, let's go back to our dorm, who knows he may have returned.”
The two then returned to the shared Dormitory room and when they entered, they were shocked to see Vorden was already there. However, something was not right, Vorden was not her usual self.
Just by looking at it, Quinn and Peter knew that he had fought. Bruises and blisters everywhere, big wounds on his back. He looked like he was in a tough battle. Not only that, but Vorden wasn't even great when the two entered.
The Vorden they knew now, was not the same Vorden now. Vorden just stayed there while lying on his bed.
“Vorden, what happened is everything okay?” Ask Peter.
“Yes, I'm fine,” said Vorden. “If you stay near me, you will only get hurt.”
“What are you talking about Vorden!” Peter yells. “Look at yourself, you have to go to the doctor's office, let's go.”
“Please leave me alone,” said Vorden slowly.
“Quinn, let's say something he needs to go to the doctor's office right.” But when Peter turns around to seek support from Quinn. Quinn was nowhere to be seen.
“Even he thinks I'm a monster,” muttered Vorden to himself.
Right outside the dorm room. Quinn leaned against the door while panting and sweating. Although he did not react when he saw people again, it was different when he saw Vorden. Vorden still had scars all over his body and a strong smell.
Suddenly Quinn felt she desperately wanted a little blood. It was something he could control, unlike the last time his body was taken over but it had brought back bad memories for him and he was a little scared of what might happen.
“I really need to find out what happened with this strange system ability I have?”
Then a thought popped into his head, there was a pending problem that he still had not dealt with. Although Vorden was acting strange now, Quinn knew she was safe. Whatever problem Vorden faced now, had to wait.
Every second wasted means there is an opportunity for Layla to wake up and who knows what will happen if she does.

At the same time in the doctor's office, in the corner, in the back of the room, Layla slowly opened her eyes.
“Hah, what happened?” Layla said, “Where am I?”
As Layla looked around the room, she started rubbing her neck and at the same time a shadow flashed across her head about what was happening in the library.
He remembers everything.
