The MVS Chapter 25

After the class finishes for the Day, Vorden offers to help Peter with his training again. Especially since tomorrow the two of them would be in the same battle class, the elemental class.

“Hey, do you want to come with us?” Ask Peter

“Well, I won't bother you guys, after all I won't be of much help,” replied Quinn.

Peter was happy because it seemed like the group was back to normal again. There is no tension between the three of them and Peter hopes it will stay that way forever.

As Quinn leaves, Vorden and Peter are left in the room, which is when Vorden asks Peter a question.

“Hey, have you seen Quinn hanging out with a girl lately?” Vorden asked.

“In retrospect, I saw him come out with a girl in the library. It was the same person we tested with that day, with a bow and arrow.”

After Peter gave an answer, for a split second, Peter felt like he saw Vorden's facial expression change. But Quinn blinked and looked again and Vorden seemed to be fine.

“Maybe he's gone and got a little girlfriend,” Vorden said with a laugh.

Quinn, of course, decided to leave the other two because she had already made plans to meet with Layla before. The two of them will meet at the school gate. But before the two of them met, Quinn decided to stop by the science lab.

Although most lessons in military school are about combat or how to use technology, science is still a core subject. It is because of these scientists that humanity has found a way of using all the different technologies that they have in the world today.

So students are encouraged to continue learning science during their service, with the hope that it will continue in the future.

Classrooms are empty for the day and essential equipment is locked in storage rooms.

But Quinn wasn't looking for anything too fancy, all she needed was a few test tubes and a small cork. After searching around the room for a while he found where they kept the test tubes. He took a total of five test tubes

Although there were many there, if he took too many it would be suspicious and Quinn could not carry more than five without having to worry about them being damaged or not.

Quinn stuffed five test tubes into the courier bag she was carrying and wrapped it in a spare shirt she had taken from her room.

Quinn currently had a total of 60/200 Exp up to the next level.50 experience points had been brought in from the last quest and he had received ten exp from his two daily quests.

So far each level up, he would gain one additional stat point and five HP points. Although Quinn became stronger through this. It was not the fastest way for him to increase his strength.

Quinn realized that the system had offered him the chance to earn extra stat points twice as long as he drank the blood of his victims but when he drank Layla's blood, he still gained stat points. Here's what Quinn wanted to test today.

It was 6pm and the sun had just started to set, meaning Quinn was not affected by the sun at the moment. As planned Layla was standing there waiting for her near the gate with a bow on her back.

Students who use weapons will take them everywhere all the time. There was always the possibility of an attack or a savage beast escaping through the portal.

After the two of them met, they decided to walk to a nearby park that was between the convenience store and the school. Then they ventured away from the path to the forest where they were sheltering. No one dared in this part and it was hard for them to be seen.

“So, will we do this?” Layla asked excitedly.

Quinn still finds it strange that instead of being scared by the whole situation, Layla is out.

“Well close your eyes,” says Quinn.

Layla closed her eyes and prepared. He could still remember the satisfying feeling from last time and could not wait to feel it again. Although he was a bit nervous when the thought popped into his head that Quinn's lips would be on his neck.

However, suddenly, Layla felt a small prick on her arm.

Layla opened her eyes and saw there was a needle there.

“What? You didn't think I'd just bite you, did you?”

Layla's cheeks suddenly turned crimson. If it wasn't for the needle in his hand, he would have tried to drive Quinn away.

As soon as the syringe was filled, Quinn sprayed it onto one of the test tubes she was carrying.

“May I fill in another,” Quinn asked.

Layla said nothing and stretched out her arms, she was still a little embarrassed by what had happened before.

“Check.”

(note : telekinesis ability is an inner ability that is able to move physical objects. He added that telekinesis is caused by a higher level of consciousness. )

It was just as Quinn thought. When using the blood inspect skill it only showed him what blood type was and from whom it was. Like time in the meeting hall. But if that person was in front of him, it would reveal their abilities, HP and blood type.

Some of the blood marks in the hall only railed question marks. Assuming that Quinn had to meet the person before or use the inspection skill on the person once before.

Quinn looked into the test tube and swallowed. He then pulled out the cork at the top and started sniffing blood.

“You won't drink it here right?” Layla asked.

“Why not, I need to know if it will make a change.”

“I don't know how embarrassing it feels, I can't explain.”

Quinn ignored Layla and looked at the blood again. His aroma was very fragrant which was different from the one he had remembered before. Then suddenly, Quinn lifted the hose and drank her blood in one gulp as if she was drinking alcohol.

As blood flowed down his throat, he felt a warm tingling sensation all over his body. His blood was sweeter than metal. It seemed like the race change had also changed his taste and smell.

Quinn was surprised to see the information that had been given to her. The blood last time seemed to have a healing effect on his body. Judging from his message, if Quinn was injured, Layla's blood would make her regain HP.

But the second message was the one that attracted him more. The system stated because he had consumed this blood before, that no statistics would be given. This meant that as long as it was the blood of someone he had never drank before, he would be able to obtain additional stat points.

Quin smiled thinking about it. Of course, this was just his theory but Quinn wanted to test it straight away.

“I guess whatever you want to test doesn't work, judging by your creepy smile and so on,” Layla said.

“If there is someone else's blood, I can test this.”

Just then the sound of two people entering the forest from the playground was heard. Quinn and Layla immediately ducked down and hid behind a tree.

It was then that they saw two students start walking into the forest.

“Now hand over your credit, otherwise I will dig your grave here and no one will find your body.” A boy's voice said.

Quinn immediately recognized the voice. It was Rylee. It seemed like he was still not learning and was still using his old tricks.

Quinn then went into her bag and took out the mask she had bought at the convenience store. The last time she let Rylee go without taking her blood and now she feels it was a waste. But this time Quinn didn't let Rylee go.
